Breakfast was amazing & we booked last minute with no problem. The property had lovely flowers and a cute tunnel type walkway to the dining area.
we had no shower head and received no response about it prior to or even after leaving

Great place to stay. The host was very friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and clean. Beds varied in comfort - one was a little too soft but fine for one night. Bathroom was a good size. The garden out front was beautiful!! The typical Costa Rican breakfast was delicious! The homemade tortillas were a hit with my family.

The breakfast was typical costa rican but tasty and prompt. The room was clean and spacious. The manager was super responsive.
It was Saturday night and the bar down the street was pretty loud as well as all the motos zipping up and down the road. I imagine it is a little quieter other days. I think my main issue is the value. It was overpriced for what it was.

Amazing breakfast served in the beautiful outdoor kitchen. Lovely terrace outside the room. Jonny was so friendly and helpful. Fantastic night tour and even took us back the following night to see the tapir!

Johnny is an amazing person who really cared about us from the first moment we arrived until the last moment. He helped and recommended everything according to the current weather. Lorena makes a great breakfast!

The manager Johnny one of the nicest persons we met very helpful and accomodating, gave us tips and information regarding activities and upgraded us to 2 rooms instead of 1as the place was empty. The rooms are very big although simple. Warm water not working very well. Overall we had a nice time at this place but the price was really steep for the conditions, a nice and friendly hostel at best. Stayed in 4 star hotels with lots of amenities for much less...

we liked the stay here very much.
The room was simple and clean, the shower was nice and warm. The little front yard is very neat and beautiful and we were able to discover frogs at night with Johnny. There's an open kitchen in the courtyard, where the typical breakfast was served.
Johnny is very open minded and has a friendly personality, so kind! He knows a lot about the local animal world and he likes to share his knowledge. He's also a guide and attend tours, which we highly recommend. The tucan also likes to visit this place.
The Rio Celeste attraction is not far, and the town offers ‘sodas’ and a supermarket. We would like to come again, and JOHNNY is one of the main reasons, thank you! Little one still misses you. :)

I like the situation for someone traveling by local transportation. Walking, you can reach restaurants, bus stop and you have plenty of activities to sign up around the place
I loved the garden full of birds. it was paradise.
It was a little high for my budget but worth it anyway

Close to nationalpark. Could leave our luggage before going to the NP.
This hotel had seen his best days. No kitchen possibilities. Breakfast was in a soda on main Street. Room was smelly. No staff there in the morning when we checked out. Bit weird atmosphere.

The room and bathroom were large, and the air conditioning worked well. Owners are very friendly, and location is great.
