Lovely cabin, very well equipped kitchen, right on the water with a balcony, was really cool. Loud roof when it rains! Host people were very nice and friendly, gave us extra equipment we asked for and a free bowl of the local Costa Rican fruit randomly during out stay, which was nice! Aircon works too but it’s not that hot in October so didn’t really use it much
Location was a bit far from centre of la fortuna, you need a taxi or it’s like a 45 minute walk without pavements for most of it, but the host gave us taxi numbers and they were about £4-5 into town

Loved the view and that it was secluded
Needed more sheets and blankets.

Good location, not far from the park, though the road was a bit bumpy to get in so we were glad we had an SUV. Nice tranquil location. Very nice that there were eggs, milk, and Orange Juice included for guests.
The place was ready and clean when we arrived, but we weren't quite sure we were in the right place since there wasn't a welcome packet or note. Keys were waiting in the door, but we were a little unsure for the first 20 minutes after arrival if all was ready for us.

i loved that it was in the jungle, but so close to the town.
that it was in the jungle and no concierge or property manager available nearby. there was lots of animal activity on the roof and around/under the building at night, and with the expansive windows and lack of curtains felt exposed and fearful.

Staff were excellent.
Location was 20 mins walk from town centre.
Cabin was very secluded and had a lot of kitchen facilities.
Wifi was temperamental.

Tracy at the front desk was so
helpful and pleasant.
The grounds are lush and gorgeous with the tree houses.
The accommodations with the large glass windows are stunning.
The tiles shower with the glass floor is very cool.
The neighbors behind the chalet have a nocturnal barking dog.

Very spacious cabin in the middle of the jungle and surrounded by trees.
Basic kitchen equipment is provided incl. coffee and filter for a good start in the morning.
The time we travelled it was very windy almost stormy and we were told this is quite normal in that area.
The fact the cabin is right in the woods it was very hard to sleep as trees were bashing with their leaves on the cabin which had lots of glass fronts.

Our cabin (no 5) was completely surrounded by trees. They are a good size with glass windows on all sides and nice wood floors and trim everywhere.
Our host was very warm, welcoming and very helpful in sharing off the beaten track places to go like Hidden Valley with its stunning views.
We had no problem with hot water from the shower. You just need to find the right spot on the dial and wait 30 seconds.
I was initially concerned when we booked that we didn’t have AC but it’s totally unnecessary with all shade from trees and breeze which kept things cool.
If your cabin happens not to have drapes, it’s not an issue, as each cabin is a good distance from each other which itself provides privacy.
Finally, definitely take the breakfast option which is cooked to order so very fresh and tasty.

Very roomy and original architecture for a cabin right in the middle of the rainforest. Close to town with good restaurants as well as close to all of the attractions. Good breakfast and very nice staff.
There was no hot water in the shower but since we only stayed for 2 nights it was OK . Internet seems to be very slow with not enough bandwidth to watch TV

The room was elevated and I couldn't fault its special effect. Facilities were good and staff were friendly.
Although I couldn't critize her honesty, upon arrival in my room I was disappointed being told by the manager not to expect to see wildlife in the vicinity of the room as they had left due the dogs in the area.

The cabin size.
It could have done with some outdoor seating. There wasnt any view, I appreciate it was surrounded by the forest , but no wildlife only local dog. I stayed in 4 places in CR and was the least value for money. Also the TV didn't work and we reported it and the host just said change the batteries didn't resolve the problem . Poor customer service .

What a wonderful little cabin! Almost the entire cabin is glass windows so it is a birdwatcher's dream. We really enjoyed watching birds, butterflies, and squirrels out the window. We also loved watching some parrots from the balcony, which had a comfy hammock chair. Everything was clean and comfortable. I appreciated having amenities like a fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. It was nice to have breakfast each day and the staff was super helpful and friendly.
The cabin was about 1.5 miles from the town center. There is a sidewalk that goes all the way there so it is walkable, if you don't mind somewhat of a long walk.
It was a bit loud sometimes due to dogs and construction.

Great people! The family was super kind and hospitable. They were quick to respond to any questions we had and helped us book an amazing ziplining tour. The location is close to town and the cabin in the woods was fun to stay in. The chair swing outside on the deck was nice to read in amongst the trees.
The bed was not the most comfortable.

The cabins are beautiful. They are spacious and well equipped for cooking and hanging out as a family. We enjoyed the quiet, the butterflies and nature all over the property, and the fireflies in the evening. Very good location to activities in Monteverde. The staff are very kind and it was a pleasant surprise to be treated to a freshly made, hot breakfast.
Like many cabins, even in the US, the beds are fairly uncomfortable. But they did provide lots of blankets which made it quite cozy.

I liked the uniqueness of a two story chalet with lots of windows to take in the forest around you.
I booked a chalet fo 5 people but at check in was told that I reserved a studio apartment for 2 people. I had the email to prove what I booked but was told repeatedly that I must have made a mistake and the room I ordered was unavailable for the length of our stay. She never apologized, didn’t offer to correct anything and was told I could get 8% off only if I paid in cash. If it wasn’t for my insistence, my family would have been squeezed in a small room for a lot of money. I eventually got her to put us in two different chalets (we had to switch rooms during our stay). She acted like she was doing me a favor and the experience left a sour note. The accommodations were more like a primitive camping lodge with dated furnishings than what I expected for the amount of money we paid. The sleeper sofa is a cheap foam mattress that folds out flat on the floor and is very uncomfortable. The breakfast was ok but nothing special.

Tracy, was amazing! She took care of our every last need and was very personable. Best service I've had at place to stay.

Amazing hostess, very friendly and helpful with everything we needed. Everything was great (unless someone doesn't want a true forest/woods related experience with animal sounds).
Perhaps some lights in the entrance (that are turned on on a permanent basis) could add to the convenience and security feeling of guests.

The breakfast was delicious. It was homemade, and fresh made to order.
