Ease of check in
Carpet filthy, black mould on the bathroom ceiling and shower dirty, blocked and does not drain
3.4
Location and the staff
Cleanliness and really needs updating
3.4
The room was very clean and the location was perfect.
The outside noises (its facing a main street side, very busy street) and inside the noise comes from the AC machines.

Great value for money, great location right near the Tube, had trouble with self check in but the customer service person was prompt and responsive
The stairwell looked grotty to me, and the room was not as nice as I’d hoped

The location was great. It was right next to Borough tube station! the staff were friendly and there was access to a very good iron and board although not many for the size of the hotel.
The room wasn't as clean as I would have liked, for example there were splashes up the wall next to the bed right where I was laid , and it wasn't nice as the bed was against the wall so these splashes were very close to me. also beware there is NO LIFT in the accommodation so you need to make sure you can get up all the stairs - i was offered no help to get my cases upstairs. One more thing - the room was on a LONG code of entry or wifi enabled click on an app to open the door which would not be user friendly for those hard of sight, or not up to speed with modern tech.

Had earthing you needed in the room.
Was a great location.
Stairs to the rooms look tired, worn, and dark.

Location is perfect! It is literally right next to the Borough underground station, and only about a 10 minute walk from London Bridge. There’s a nice convenience store and a Starbucks right across the street as well, and a bus stop nearby.
For a solo traveler, the rooms were pretty alright. They’re not really big, but they’re fine if you’re just one person who needs somewhere to sleep. The shared bathrooms were also clean, and the showers actually worked pretty well (something I’ve always seemed to have bad luck with when it comes to affordable London hotels. 😅)
The digital check-in and key system is also pretty convenient, so you can check in and get to your room in no time using your phone, while skipping the reception altogether.
The walls are paper thin with no sound isolation, meaning you can hear everyone, and everyone can hear you.
While the shared bathrooms were clean and functional, there were no ventilation at all, so the bathrooms were always extremely hot and humid, to the point where you would come out sweaty just from being in there for more than a few minutes.
The pillows were unfortunately pretty uncomfortable, as they’re a bit thin. Even with two pillows stacked, I still managed to wake up with a stiff neck.
The sink inside the room also seems to not drain properly, so it can overflow at times.

Cleaning was ok
Super tiny room, super noisy

Well located, right next door to Borough station. Bed was reasonably comfortable
The most ludicrously complex check-in system I have ever encountered, no exaggeration. I was meant to get an email explaining but did not receive it. Fortunately, I arrived before reception closed or I would have been snookered. The (very helpful) receptionist showed me but it was a bit mad: create an account with them, then enter my details all over again to get a code for the front door and the means to open my bedroom door with my phone. That didn't work, so I had to enter a 10-digit code for that. The TV picture was fuzzed over. I'm too old for all this...

Staff was very kind and helpful with me. The check-in was possible 8 hours before I expect to. I did it at 9am.
The bedroom was spacious and clean. I slept well, and it was a good experience.
The hotel is next to Borough station, the Northern Line. In less than 15 minutes I went to Soho for example.
It was cold in the bathroom. The hairdryer didn't work so I asked to get another one. My request was accepted.
In general, there are not negative aspect. There are not elevators to go in the 3rd floor.

Room and bathroom were clean. Ease of check in and check out. Very friendly staff. Quiet even though guests were coming and going at all hours (seems to popular for short stay city breaks). I felt safe in the room though.
Lack of a desk or table meant I had to work with my laptop on the double bed. No cupboards for clothes. No coat hangers just four knobs on the wall.

very comfortable. the position is absolutely the best thing! it’s right under Borough underground station. staff answer in a few minutes to any requests .

There’s a lot of good things that I have to say about it:
1. We were able to check in 4H prior to what was scheduled;
2. Even though the room was small, we could have a great stay at cityspace, and for the price that we paid, it was great considering that London is really expensive!
3. Front desk girls were super kind and helpful.
4. Toilets were new and always available. Shampoo and shower gel available for free.
5. TV and hairdryer inside the room.
The only thing they need to improve is that on the toilets, we didn’t have a toilet brush so no one was able to clean the toilet after use and it was disgusting.
This is just a suggestion: under the coffee table inside the room, it was nice to have a mini fridge. It would be really helpful.

Location is really good and the self service check in is really useful. Bed was relatively comfy. Staff were friendly and helpful!
The hallways to the rooms are really narrow and look dirty, it feels like a HMO rather than a hotel. The walls are paper thin and you can hear everything around you and everyone else can hear you... One night i could hear a guy using a shared bathroom a few doors down and throwing up for almost 3 hours (1-4am) so i didn't get any sleep. The floor in the ensuite bathroom was really creaky and it unstable to stand on which is worrying.
3.4
it’s easy to find and easy access
the room smelled like old cigarette smoke that had been covered with air freshener. needs a good airing and redecorating. lots of creaking floors from upstairs and sound proofing could be better
3.4
it took 30 mins for the code to work to get in
pillows were terrible
3.4
Nice room, clean bathroom
Noisy, I could hear the person above walking around, woke me at after midnight and again before 6am.
Noisy generator, machine outside the window, kicked in at 4am and ran every 30 mins. Terrible noise very bad night’s sleep.
3.4
Location was superb, right next to Borough station. The room was spacious.
Bathroom door was a bit difficult to open.
3.4
I didn’t
I had a terrible experience
3.4
tidy area, compact and the added extras were nice
nothing really
3.4
The location was great near tube station.
Cleaners left stuff all over the corridor. Very basic stuff not considered. With bathroom outside the room you’d think they’d provide slippers or a robe.
Walls were stained and the whole property looked dated.
3.4
Great location and great value for money
No heating, and no tv remote
