Very nice atmosphere. Great facilities. Very good food.
In the direct surroundings of the hotel there is not much to do. Rent a car or bike. Plenty of thing to do within 5/10 min drive.

We loved this hotel. Everything was really nice and the food was wonderful. The beach is nice and only a few steps from our room. This is the perfect place if you just wish to relax by the pool and beach with the family and eating delicious food.
I didn’t love the location. There was not a lot to do outside of the hotel on this side of the island.

Everything was great, food, service, the beach, the bar at the beach.

To many kids, no designsted meal time for families- very loud at times.

I traveled with my mom and my 4yo daughter and we absolutely loved it! Very nice and clean place with a modern design. We really loved the food as well. Also the little candy store with delicious ice cream was our go to place every day ;) It has a great location, just 30 mins from the airport and its nicely hidden so it feels private. We love the beach with clear and warm water. Room was clean and nice ;)

very stylish, had everything we needed
lot of families with small children. did just not expect this.
4.3
Superb design and wonderful garden/beach.
Very good room and bed.
Good spa however pricy.
Great breakfast.
Quality, hospitality and pricing of the restaurants.
Service personnel not up to the standard.
No complimentary bread or after dinner treat
(which is common in all Crete restaurants).
Pools too shallow and clearly focused on small
children.
Lack of generosity in general.
4.3
The style, the attention to the details, the staff, the variety of food, the pools, the beach
Not much. Rooms could be slightly bigger. Beach restaurant missing kids menu

Very nice resort. Staff is very friendly. Food selection and quality was great. Gym room was nice. Easy access to pools and ocean. Nice options with different restaurants and a bar at the beach. Our son loved the pools. Everything is within short distances.
If I'm being picky, some sides of the pool looked a little greenish. The location is a little off the outskirts. Other than that it was a great place and we had nothing to complain.
4.3
beautifully landscaped resort with a relaxed vibe. nicely decorated and rooms were comfortable. water bottles provided every day. good breakfast. kids club and mini disco were a plus.
some staff need training, lots of service gaps - I would say it has the facilities of a 4/5 star hotel but not the standard of service to match. some staff easily irritable, not overly helpful and slightly annoyed at all times. the restaurants have strange policies - you can’t take anything to your room, you can’t ask for bread - you need to order a bread basket for 9 euros. kids menu are normal prices and normal portions.
4.3
The room (junior suite sea view) was very nice, excellent Mezze restaurant, staff was overall nice and ready to help.
The buffet restaurant is too chaotic, and staff look overwhelmed and sometimes rude (probably they are understaffed). River pool was too dirty after few days the water was quite greenish. Kids club activities and staff need to be improved: I could see many kids, including mine, getting bored quite fast and as a result not wanting to stay there much. Be aware that around the hotel there is not much to do, and the neighborhood is not particularly attractive.

I really liked the interior design of the hotel; everything is airy, thought-of and contemporary. The rooms are very spacious. Staff were incredibly well trained, efficient and polite (shoutout to the outstanding Joao, who went far beyond the call of duty, the super professional Eva and the diligent Marianna). Maintenance is very quick to solve any issue. The food is incredible in all the hotel restaurants: do not miss the Burrata pizza at Almyra as it is next-level. The proximity to Malia gives young adults a chance to go clubbing at night.
The guests are not at the level of the hotel: they reserve sun beds and play ball games at the pool even though there are signs everywhere asking them not to. They invade reserved areas for Pool Bungalows. It is very common to arrive at the beach and see 2/3rds of the sun beds occupied with nothing but towels and leave with nowhere to sit…

the decor & landscaping of the property were so smartly done, the beach was clean & services & the guest relations were amazing! my baggage was lost in Athens & guest relations staff Marianne did the impossible to help retrieve it within record 2 days! the food at the hotel was also amazing & small complimentary touches like beach bag & after sun cream was very thoughtful especially that my beach bag broke.
nothing, the hotel was 40min from the airport & close to agios nikaloas city center & amazing food & service.

Amazing hotel. Really close to the airport. Incredible vegan food and options at the buffet and restaurants. Beautifully designed hotel, room (junior suite) was a great size and the collapsable doors were really useful putting our baby to sleep and having our own seating area. Beautiful beach and pools. Staff were generally really kind and welcoming. Great facilities for children (cot, high chairs, pool toys). The Little Explorers creche which was fantastic and a great team who look after the children. Overall it was a fantastic hotel and I would definitely recommend to others and go again myself.
1 - Thought all the Junior suite rooms opened out to the garden but we initially had a second floor room which had a balcony looking over the garden towards the beach, but the rail was high, dark and you couldn't really see the sea if you were sat down, felt quite claustrophobic. We moved to a downstairs room half way through which was much nicer but wish we'd had the choice when we booked.
2 - When we booked it said for half board children under 2 get a free lunch. But when we got there we found out it was only free at the lunch time buffet which they stopped doing it wasn't busy enough at lunch and they only do al a carte for lunch. Then loads of confusion, the staff just really didnt have a clue if it was free or not, just kept saying it was free but then saying we had to pay. In the end we were offered puree or just boiled veg which wasnt going to work for our two year old so we gave up on the idea and made up lunch from the morning buffet. Disappointed, either offer it or dont offer it, and educate all the staff as to what the rule is. Dont promise free lunch for under 2s at a lunch time buffet which doesnt exist.
3 - We moved downstairs to a garden level junior suite which was nicer but had a drainage smell problem at certain points in the day. The maintenance team came every day to try and find a solution to but couldn't find one. We were offered a complimentary evening restaurant meal
4 - Our room had no ceramic mugs or glasses but loads of paper cups which were replaced daily. I asked for mugs and glasses but was told they only give paper cups because of sustainability! This was a problem for me and did not make sense at all as paper cups are really unsustainable.
5 - We had to get plant based milk for tea and coffee for our room from the buffet and were told there would be a charge if we wanted it brought to our room. But dairy milk is replaced daily for free. So have to pay extra for being vegan.

Great location on the beach, great breakfast
As mentioned by other reviewers, this is very much a family hotel - and by family I mean infants and toddlers. This gave the place a hectic and noisy feel which wasn’t very relaxing for anyone else. Whilst this isn’t the hotel’s fault, they could perhaps do more to provide some quieter, less child friendly areas for others to relax in but there didn’t seem to be any thought given to this. On the contrary, the pool area was far too small to accommodate all the guests and - again - completely taken over by kids. This was made worse by the the hotel reserving a very large proportion of loungers (which remained largely unused) for guests in certain rooms, meaning that the rest had to cram around a small noisy pool area. Staff were also hit and miss. Having pointed out an issue in the room and being reassured that this would be dealt with, I had to follow up 4 times as nobody got back to me, let alone fix it. They did give me a small discount for this at check out but only when I raised it again, rather than of their own accord. All of the above contributed to the the hotel being a far cry from a 5 star experience.

Nice Design
Nice Staff
Maybe our fault, but we did not know that it was a family hotel. This was obviously not the expected place for our honeymoon. Everywhere screaming and playing kids.

The park and hotel are beautifully and expensively decorated and furnished. Outdoors the gardens are lush and well tended. The staff are on the ball and attentive. On arrival they sat us down with a drink and explained everything we needed to know.
We could, and did, book excursions through the hotel, and they also furnished us with a local bus timetable and explained how to find the bus stop.
The breakfast buffet is outstanding!
We weren’t travelling with young children but if you are there is plenty for them to do.
You will definitely feel like you’ve landed in paradise here!
If you’re not doing the all inclusive the food and drinks are overpriced. However, there are a number of local tavernas a short walk away.
