The outside area was beautiful, it had plenty of sun-beds around the pool and its own private beach which was very quiet. The pool was really warm as well!!
The walls are very thin and therefore it’s quite noisy in the hotel.
No tv in the room and no hairdryer.

Great quite location, good beds, accomodation, next to the sea, swimming pool very convenient.

it’s a gorgeous location and the staff was extremely nice!
it’s a bit to far outside the town.

Location was fantastic, right on the beach

bed was horrible, very hard. Very basic amenities, no in room coffee makers, no. beach towels or hairdryer.

Great value hotel, lovely quiet location on the beach, with a great pool and lovely staff. The food at the hotel is very reasonable and very good.

The view is amazing! The rooms are very clean, eveyone is super nice and polite. You can also enjoy nice breakfast for a good price. I recommend the 'full breakfast' because a coffee and orange juice are included as well. :)

The hotel is right on the beach, with a great view. It's a bit far from the center but we knew already and booked an ATV, about 25 euro per day, cheap and great sensation to go on the island. The hotel had a great pool and Great food, especially the salad, the staff was very nice. Room was as expected. Great place to relax.
The only thing that we didn't like was the poor internet connection and no TV in the room

Located on the beach, with well kept pool, with children's section, a nice garden, with plenty of sun beds. The hotel is quiet and the neighbouring up market hotels are also quiet Pool side snack bar. Rooms have free; safe, WiFi and AC. Wifi is not very fast and drops out. Sandy beach in front of the hotel leads to sea with access points to avoid the rocks, no sun beds on the beach. A couple of restaurants, supermarket within a few minutes walk. Car park for residents. The downtown Malia beach area is 2km away a 25 min walk. Rooms are small, all have small balcony with a table and two chairs, There is no room inside for the table and chairs. Rooms have very limited storage space, but nicely decorated and well maintained. No TV. Nice small bathroom, with very small shower cubicle with no curtain, lacks shelves for toiletries and hooks for towels. Water was hot all the time apart from one day when it was cloudy, likely solar water heater, water pressure is good. Kitchenette in small area, sink, fridge, two ring stove and utensils, no microwave or oven. Cleaning was first class, but rooms only serviced every 2 or 3 days. The whole hotel is kept very clean and tidy. We enjoyed staying here and would highly recommend it to anyone wanting a quiet relaxing holiday.
The apartments lead on to the well kept garden in which the pool is located, plenty of sun beds. The beach is beyond the garden, which is a fine sand beach but some rocks in the water, pathways lead through the rocks. The apartments have a Snack bar and attractive seating area. Rooms have; free safe, WiFi and AC. Restaurants, supermarket are a few minutes walk. Malia is. Xx minutes walk away. Rooms are On the beach, pool in garden, sun beds. Snack bar. Free safe, WiFi and AC. Sandy beach leads with some rocks. Restaurants, supermarket a few minutes walk. Rooms small, small balcony table and chairs. Rooms limited storage space, but nicely decorated and well maintained. No...

super quite, clean and Organized. You can enjoy breakfast near the ocean with a fantastic view. we felt like home.

Friendly service, nice, spacious rooms, location right on the beach but a bit outside of central Malia (we actually liked that)

We liked everything!
Our children enjoyed the pool very much. We spent
there almost all the time. The beach has the sand, but
in the water there are a lot of rocks. We couldn’t swim
much but it was still ok.
We had the perfect view from the balcony!
Actually we got two balcony’s. 😍
The beach bar also was good, where we got frappe or some simple food.
The stuff was very friendly.
The room was cleaned every two days.
There is some restaurants around the hotel so you
don’t need to go to Malia’s city centre wich is very
crowded.
We definitely recommend to other family’s with children!

Lovely accomodation on a quiet beach, yet close to other lively areas. Great view to have breakfast in the morning.

Great place for people who appreciate a cosy, quiet place on a nice beach. Lovely location, peaceful place, nice pool, great people running the establishment. Problems happen everywhere and Katerina was always ready to help and resolve whatever was needed. The place has a pool bar where you can have breakfast, lunch or some snacks for a reasonable price, including a truly excellent moussaka. A bit far to the centre of Malia if you need to do some shopping but that goes with the peace.
There is no way you take a shower and not flood the whole bathroom - the shower bath is small and cannot be closed entirely. We would appreciate a bit more storage space for our stuff.

Lovely hotel with spacious swimming pool area - sun beds feel so nicely spaced out and the sea breeze keeps you from feeling unbearably hot, it’s absolutely love to sit and eat overlooking the sea. You can walk left or right for the evening out, left is a much quieter area, right is a 20 minute walk into Malia centre which is much more lively.
Noise was a bit of an issue when trying to sleep - you can hear everyone’s doors closing and toilets flushing. if you’re a light sleeper you might struggle!

Beautiful location, quiet but close enough to the main centre if you want to go for a night out.
Food at the bar is good value, well cooked and plenty of choice if you want breakfast, lunch or a snack. This was our third time here and we can’t wait to go back.
Bar closes at 8pm but it is a family friendly place so that’s understandable. it was only a problem as there isn’t really any nice bars close to just have a drink before retiring. There is a lovely bar next to it on the beach but it is exclusive to the guests at the hotel there which is a shame. We tended to have our own drink outside our room but it just didn’t feel very social. However there is an excellent restaurant 5 minutes walk away, Cretan family restaurant which we spent many evenings at.

As always, a wonderful stay at silver sun, the rooms are perfect, clean, cool and with everything you need with basic kitchenette, aircon, balcony and modern bathroom. The hosts are most welcoming and always happy to help, the little beach is wonderful, with sand lilies growing and that wonderful 'wild' feel (sea shoes essential as rocky seabed), while right next to the comfort of the swimming pool area with sun-beds, and shaded pool bar for snacks, breakfast and drinks. All deliciously and lovingly served by the family, It is a real pleasure to return to this little treasure of a place each year, whether on my own or with the groups i bring. Thank you

the location is great - right in front of the beach (tho it is not a clean beach)
“due to Covid” they clean the room every 3-4 day. we stayed for 3 nights. the room has not been cleaned once… same sheets same towels… a real nightmare. not hygienic at all
4.5
Hotel is nice; very homelike - since it is smaller and quiet.
Rooms are fine (and very clean) & kitchen is well equiped.
Location is perfect, just a few steps from the best beach in Malia. Hotel also has nice private pool area.
Staff is very welcoming and friendly.
Its difficult to shower since the shower is very small and open - doesn't have any courtain, so the whole bathroom is flooded after.

All the people working there are so friendly! We really enjoyed our stay and will be always pleased to come back!

Friendly family hosted accomodation, nice and clean rooms, location is amazing, especially for us as a couple just a 10 min walk from all the bars restaurants in Malia and at a private beach, with really nice sea, pool next to it. We couldn’t have wished for more! Thanks so much for the great stay.
Nothing!

Amazing location that has to be seen. Make sure you book a seaview room as the view is out of this world. Waking to the beautiful sunrise and the sound of the sea was amazing. The staff cannot do enough for you and the range of food and drink by the pool is fantastic and prices are cheaper than some eateries in the town. Do not be put off by the first impression of the small road you need to go down to get to this place, once you arrive you will never want to leave.
Nothing to dislike but would say you will benefit from having a car rental as walk to the town can be extremely hot.

Beautiful and quiet surrounding, spacious room with the small kitchen, close to the beach. Great place if you want to escape from the noise. Easy to reach with the car.
Nothing. Stayed just for one night.
