Staff was excellent. The beach is very close. The breakfast buffet is very good.
There is a lot of noise if you stay in the rooms closest to the beach. There's cars and music from the restaurant. Sleeping past 7:30 is difficult.

Right on the beach. Close to lots of great restaurants. The staff were very accommodating and our apartment was clean, cute and comfortable.

Near the City, cosy, comfortable hotel, clean, well level
A lot of children near the pool, smoking outside, without restrictions

Staf was great
Food was ok
Own beach side & can order food, drinks and snacks from the hotel.
Bathroom appliances were more or less falling apart.
Located quite far from city center - need taxi to get there; on the good side a ride to the center costed 5€ (standard).
I had the feeling it was overpriced.

We had a brilliant stay. Amazing location. Good facilities and we really liked staying in a smaller hotel for a change. Staff were amazing - in particular eleni at breakfast. Just has a good vibe abs good decor
I was given a different room to the one I paid for on the first night. I arrived late and tired and it had creepy crawlers but the next day they swiftly moved me to a great room

The staff was hilarious. Thanks to Irakli, the whole reception desk, the restaurant staff, and everyone there. All of them were super supportive. We arrived at 7 AM, Irakli kindly organized breakfast for us, and early check-in with no additional fee, they resolved any problem we had really promptly. The hotel was clean and tight, the swimming pools very nice and cozy, my children loved it a lot. Supermarkets and the best restaurants in the area are nearby. I would definitely stay there again.
GYM was inconvenient, there were a few dumbbells and little variations of weight (there were like 3-6kg and the next ones were 15-20kg). Table games in the children's playroom were mostly in Greek, which we don't read.

It wasn’t very clean and in dire need of renovation.
not good value for money.

overall looks of the place, staff extremely friendly, excellent breakfast and the food at the restaurant was delicious

The team was very kind & friendly and we really felt very welcomed! Great location with a wonderful clean and not crowded (in may) sandy beach right across the street. Very nice familyrun meze restaurant and a supermarket next door. The rooms offer good space, some with quite many stairs to/in the rooms. Beautiful pool & architecture. We enjoyed our stay very much!
Unfortunately I broke my leg during our stay in the hotel. As I couldn’t attend a single (paid) breakfast, my husband brought me coffee to the room. It was 15min after breakfasttime and we had to pay for it extra. Also he was told he has to bring back the tableware afterwards by himself. Due to the emergency situation we were in, this left a bit bad aftertaste.

boutique hotel on the outskirts of old town, perfect pied a terre to explore rethymno area, property and pool area is beautiful and well maintained, rooms have been recently refurnished and Christina & front staff were very helpful and attentive. we had a beautiful sunset view and very spacious room.
even though bathroom was comfortable and very clean, it lacked the contemporary design you’d expect in a 4-star hotel, it was still a wonderful stay

Everthing was really nice, from the begining on i stept into that place i felt i was in vacation.
The location could not be better.
The Kitchen in the Studio is not really needed, specially if there is not really anything to cook with. So eather put some more things in the kitchen to actually cook or take it out🙂

The location is good: The hotel is next to a nice sandy beach where the hotel has free beach beds and parasols. (Beware: there runs a pretty busy street between the beach and the hotel, which you can't see in the photos of the hotel). And there's a good restaurant next to the hotel. (Because it's located in a busy area, you do hear a lot of noise from the streets in the room.)
We ordered dinner via room service on our first night and that dinner was delicious.
The breakfast buffet is good and most staff members during breakfast are very friendly and welcoming. Perfect start of your day.
We arrived 3 hours later than planned -which we communicated to the hotel - because of a flight delay, but our room was not ready: the requested baby items like a baby bed weren't in the room. We had to ask it twice because they were confident that the baby bed was in the room [it wasn't] and it took a very long time for the hotel staff to come and install the bed, while our baby was well beyond her bedtime. We had to ask the next day a third time for the other missing baby items. It was not the warm welcome you need or expect from a four-star hotel after a tiring day of travel filled with delays.
We booked this hotel because it also had a heated half indoor/ half outdoor pool so we would be sure we could take our baby girl for a swim in the month of April. But this pool was being renovated/under construction and this was nowhere mentioned when we made the booking. The outdoor pool was heated but was still way too cold for a baby.

- Breakfast was exceptional! Huge range of food from cereals, fruits and pastries to hot food, with some daily variations meaning you could try different Greek/Cretan specialities each day.
- Our room (one bedroom, first floor apartment with kitchenette and balcony) was comfortable and we were upgraded to a room with a sea view. The bed was huge and very comfortable and the shower was lovely!
- Location - right on the beach with comfortable sunbeds and umbrellas which are free for customers to use. Shops and great restaurants nearby (see Vatania next door and Thymari just around the corner, as well as many others we didn't get to try) and Rethmynon Old Town is a 20-25 minute walk along the beach front (on a flat and paved walk way) or alternatively, there is a well-serviced taxi rank a minute walk away. We hired a car and the property is well connected to Heraklion, Chania & the rest of the island via an excellent main road which was easy to navigate.
- Staff - the staff were INCREDIBLE and made our stay so wonderful. Friendly and attentive, they couldnt do enough to help, providing recommendations and helping us improve our Greek language skills. Special shout-out to Christina on reception and Eleni in the breakfast team who we were very to say goodbye to!
- Value for money - we stayed early May 2023 and were on a bit of a bit of a budget but I couldn't believe the quality of accommodation, services, facilities, breakfast and accomodation available here. Will definitely return if we come back to Rethmynon in the future.
- Facilities - the weather wasn't great during our stay so we didn't use the pools but the pool areas are lovely and well maintained. There is also a lounge area which was very relaxing and the indoor and outdoor breakfast areas were both wonderful .
Parking - there is no parking at the hotel (which we knew before booking) and although there is free public parking a minutes walk away which we did manage to get spaces in during this stay, I think it would be very difficult during high season. However a car isn't essential and the island seems reasonably connected by public transport.
Kitchenette essentials - we had the basics but no chopping board, tea towel, scissors etc. The kitchenette was fine to prepare light meals but I would have struggled to do any proper cooking.

All. Good location, Nice room, good breakfast and dinner, nice pool. Very Nice staffs ! The cleaning lady left a bottle of shower gel for baby when knowing we have a baby. Although we have our own baby shower gel but it is still makes me feel touched by the good services.

The breakfast was good and the staff very nice.
The beach was dirty and the sea as well(not hotel’s fault of course), the room was quite small.

The rooms were clean and we were satisfied overall. Despite it being next to a main street, it wasn't too noisy. The pools were never too crowded and there was easy access to the beach.
Staff is mostly kind (especially reception and kitchen was delightful).
As vegans, we were missing some plant based options (we informed them in advance and reminded them at arrival). Also sometimes they were not able to answer questions about the food and almost gave us things that had cow cheese in it.

Very nice location, a little bit further from the center, 10 minutes walk, taxi station, supermarkets and restaurants of all types in the neighbourhood. In the hotel there are two pools, they are clean. Gym at the pool. Sunbeds, towels are free of charge in the hotel and at the beach. Nice beach with various sport facilities. Our apartment was facing to the sea, very clean, comfortable. Nice staff. Continental breakfast. Animation and playroom for children. We really enjoyed ourselves.
There were a lot of pigeons. Bird droppings everywhere. Common areas cannot be cleaned perfectly. We asked our cleaning lady to clean it up and she was very kind and did it.
9.2 / 10.0
We loved our stay here! There were 3 different pools, a lovely sandy beach across the road, good facilities for kids and the service was great. The room was very big with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, so fitted a family of 5 easily. Overall it was lovely!
The cleaners weren’t the best.
2.9 / 10.0
Good breakfast.
Terrible customer service. Poor health and safety (broken sofa beds in rooms, short door to bathroom, steep (open) staircases in maisonettes), Ill-fitting curtains and/or no privacy blinds/curtains. Dirty floors!
Photos show how the night receptionist left one of our rooms after a problem opening out the sofa bed. Apparently it wasn't "his fault we'd brought children with us"
