expensive and only good for a single night

it was close to the freeway and gas station

it didn’t feel safe and the window was facing the walkway so other guest could look right in if the curtains were open

Nice room, but unfortunately hard to sleep due to partying people

The room was nice and clean with fridge and freezer. Checkin was smooth. Location is good.

Unfortunately local youth held a party at the gas station right in front of the motel, playing loud music until 2 am. As we're not from the country, we don't know applicable rules and how to contact applicable law enforcement, we tried but failed. We tried calling the hotel to ask what can be done, but hotel staff was unavailable at that time of day. We really would've liked to get assistance from hotel staff regarding what can be done, as we were unable to sleep. For the price, which is not cheap, you'd expect at least someone to answer the phone.

Clean but simple, somewhat weird

The room was sparkling clean - including bathroom, and an added bonus was the full height 60/40 fridge/freezer. Nice location for travelers by car. Free parking on property. Saw the communal kitchen on third floor when I was checking out, no info about it in room.

For this price I would assume the built in AC/ventilation would be working, but it's shut off for all rooms. Only ventilation is the window to the external corridor, where people are walking all times of day and night - you don't want that window open enough to get fresh air into the room. I would not recommend going here on a hot day. Reception wasn't open on posted times, but clerk available through a quick phone call. Shower with automatic 20 sec water was a very weird choice.

Nice place to stay when you are travelling.

Good Wi-fi, TV, comfortable bed, towels, bed linen, tables outside. McDonald's and a supermarket very close.

Booked a breakfast, but when I arrived it appeared that they don't serve it because of corona. Would be nice to know it at least a few days before or just not sell it on Booking. Secondly, no hair drier in the bathroom.

Excellent place to stay for a visit to the Halden area!

1. Refrigerator - exellent! (Almost no reasonably priced establishments have this!) 2. No NONSENSE! (Nonsense is divided cloth-hangers, lock system for electricity etc.) 3. Excellent location (but only if you have a car......)

The door lock (at least 20 attempts and some help before I was able to open the door.......) To obtain normal TV was also a terrible job to learn! Pillows were too soft, (but that is my own personal taste......)

Good location but expensive.

The location was close to my activities during the weekend. It was also close to stores and a gas station. The room had a fridge and freezer so i could keep my food cold which was good as it was very hot when i stayed there.

The door to the reception was closed and there was no one there so i had to call the number on the door. It was really hot in the room so i could hardly sleep the first night, i had to buy a fan to try and cool the room a little.

I’ve been backpacking across Europe for 5 months and have stayed in over 140 hotels during that time

Absolutely nothing.

1. Hotel is not where it’s depicted on Google Maps. 2. Room door key card mechanism was broke. 3. No soap or shampoo in room. Owner made the excuse that the truck hadn’t brought it yet after I got dressed and went to the desk to inquire about these items. I should have been informed of this at checkin. 4. Worst breakfast experience I’ve ever had. Very limited selection.
