The location is excellent…could not be better. Also the staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a very good spread.
The only thing would be the tap water is undrinkable. I would suggest property leaves two bottles of water everyday when they clean.

This charming little hotel is perfect, this was our second visit and we look forward to returning in the future.
Everything was just right.

Wider range of fruit.

Location could not be better 😀We had two large rooms with comfortable and extra large king size beds with french balconies with view to plaza Duomo. Double doors, so no noice from the lively square below. Good and varied breakfast with salt and sweet options. Attentive and friendly hosts, highly recommended!
Nothing really

central location
- old style rooms
- dark room
- water pressure is very low and it takes long minutes to have warm water
-if you come for breakfast at 9:45am you get cold eggs and no one really cares

The owner Stephano and his wife are really helpfull and kind person. We have visited Siracusa with two children U10. We messed up the parking and drove into the old city, but Stephano arranged everything with the police and we could park in the Dome Square in their house. The breakfast was delicious, the best we have eaten in Sicily! The room was really quiet despite of the central location. Stephano speaks good English and his wife speaks French. I can recommend it for pairs and families as well.

they were super accommodating and very friendly.
I felt like the rooms could have been a bit cozier. but they were fine for what we needed.

Il Duomo is a charming and well run place. The owner/manager was friendly, helpful and available. The staff that did the breakfast were friendly and competent. The location is unbeatable. Breakfast was excellent.

Located right on the main piazza, this is a wonderful location to experience Ortigia. inside a historic palazzo being gradually restored and renovated by its charming owner. simple but everything you need and a sumptuous breakfast
A good walk from the car park if you have luggage. But that’s not the fault of the owner. very little parking on Ortigia

convenient, host Stephanos was helpful. Large bedroom with a balcony overlooking the square.

The location was perfect, in the piazza del duomo. The guest house was buried inside a old classical building and accessed up a grand staircase. The breakfast room overlooked the piazza, our room overlooked a quiet courtyard.
The owner was very helpful and friendly, and around most of the time. We had no problems gaining access at any time. The room was comfortable with good Wi-Fi. There was fresh fruit for breakfast. Good gelato next door.
No complaints. There is no lift, but it’s only one floor up, and the owner helped with the bags.

Stefano I the host was unbelievable. So helpful in getting a carpark for us. made us relaxed immediately. location is sensational. we could sit on our balcony and watch the world go by. across the piazza one night at the Barons palace they had an opera singer singing o moo bambino carp. thought I’d died and gone to heaven. wonderful stay.
they had no drinking glasses in the room.
teacups and a bottle opener.

Fantastic position. The room was comfortable. Breakfast was most enjoyable.
Parking- it was quite far and carrying heavy bags was unpleasant.

The location is the best in Siracusa, couldn’t be better. Even though it’s super central, the room
Was really silent!
Everything super nice. Maybe the breakfast could be better.

Location in Piazza Duomo was great. Staff, breakfast, and ease of coming and going were great also.

Great location. Okay communication with male staff member in English.
Breakfast very poor - stale cereal with warm milk. Had to go out to main area in my towel when there was no hot water in the shower, only for the two female staff members not to speak any English. Eventually I was told the overhead shower head had no hot water, only the handheld one did, so I had to wash my hair one-handed.

We really appreciated the exceptional level of service. This was a small hotel, calm, and spacious. Air-conditioning, fans and high ceilings helped with the extreme heat because we were staying during July. Stefano and his friendly team made everything run smoothly. The location was so central, and the room was kept very clean.
I can't think of anything I didn't like.

The piazza it was on was lovely and the restaurant we used was fantastic.
It was difficult to find; we went to the wrong parking garage, then had trouble finding the correct one. We had quite a stairway to get up with our luggage. There was poor lighting by the bed for reading.
