About this apartment rental

At the heart of Chichester city centre and on the grounds of our famous Cathedral, Canon Gate is a beautifully refurbished historic building, a perfect base to explore everything Chichester has to offer. With two bedrooms this property accommodates four comfortably. The large first floor living room is a sanctuary to retreat to after a busy afternoon. Looking out across the cathedral rooftops this makes the most romantic of settings. The living room has a good sized dining area with plenty of room to dine after cooking up a feast or collecting a local takeaway. Try downloading the 'deliveroo' app, lots of the local restaurants will deliver direct to your door. If you do want to cook up a feast the kitchen has everything you will need to effectively self cater during your stay. The apartment comes with it's own outdoor space, a small walled courtyard area with table and chairs to enjoy alfesco dining. Collect a bottle from the local wine merchant and enjoy! Canon Gate has one family bathroom with a good sized shower cubicle.

The flat is nice and spacious and right in the centre of town so very handy for all amenities and sights. because its on the main street its a bit lively situated above a shop that plays loud music (although they did turn it down when we banged on the ceiling). There was a live concert somewhere nearby on Saturday which was very noisy - don't know if this is a one off. The loo hadn't been cleaned however I think that was an oversight as the rest of the flat was fine. If you want a nice place to stay and don't mind a bit of 'ambient' noise then its fine otherwise choose a place away from the main drag.
