Scenic cottage in the lap of lake Saimaa

Proximity to the beauty of nature. View from all the rooms were breathtaking. We stayed in cottage number 3. Spacious apartment for a family with two separate rooms . In the drawing room, there was a sofa cum bed too. All sorts of cooking equipment and gadgets are provided. Just do all your shopping before coming. Bring toiletries, too. The bathroom had a heated floor . Excellent sitting place outside the cottage with a beautiful view of lake Saimaa. Two row boats available for rowing ( free of charge ). Separate grilling facilities for all the guests. A big playground with all sorts of different games was a plus point. Lots of things to do. Wifi is good, too. The owner was friendly. We will surely come again.

A very nice place in the middle of nowhere. There was all supplies in the kitchen for cooking, so it was easy to prepare food. There was also grill for the guests to use. Sauna was nice even in summer time. It was nice that there was few rowboats and paddleboard for guests to use free of charge. The apartment was a little warn down, but it fit the price. Be well prepared for mosquitoes at summer time :) Hosts were really nice and helpful.

A bit warm inside during hot summer days and you can't chill outside because of the mosquitoes.

Nice place near Saimaa lake

Clean, big window, nice view, big space, very close to the lake, affordable price.

Sound proof is not so good No steak knife No kitchen paper (I did not find) No shampoo (I did not find)

An excellent stay in the lap of nature

Excellent place to stay with family ,friends and kids. Places like Olavinlinna, Punkaharju, Haukkavuori and Parikkala sculpture park are nearby and lot of activities that you could do. The property is well kept and communication with the owner Tatiana was swift. Though my stay was short, I would love to book it for some time longer. There are boats available for use by the guests and we made good use of it. You could also swim in the lake. I would certainly recommend it for someone who would like to spend time in peace and also indulge in a lot of activities.

Mosquitoes outdoors, though can't help during the summers

Wonderful location and nice people.

1) A table fan in the summer is defintely needed here, but it was not there. 2) There is just 1 mirror in the bathroom . It's impossible for someone to get ready without a mirror in the hall or room if someone else is using the bathroom.

Exceptional

Very nice quiet place with perfect view over the lake. Close to many nature attractions. And super spaciuos even with two big dogs. Loved it!

We didn't manage to use the coffee maker without making a mess.
