Peacefully located near Kayak Point, we are far enough away to relax, yet close enough to stay connected! Nightly lodging provides accommodations for up to 6 guests. You will enjoy our relaxed space and at same time thoroughly appreciate beautiful hardwood floors, gourmet kitchen, 65” smart TV, a private master suite, modern bathrooms with heated toilets, second private bedroom with comfy queen bed and full size crib for little guests, and access to beautiful outdoor grounds. The house was perfect for my elderly dad who is in a wheelchair. Showers, doorways, and all the rooms were completely accessible. And there's a paved area next to the front door so no stairs that we had to deal with.
The property was absolutely beautiful and well maintained. We even got to pick some berries! The owner takes great pride in it and he was lovely to deal with. Very responsive in all our communications and made sure we were taken care of while we were there. We would definitely come back.

Great spot for myself and 2 friends attending a dog training workshop. Wish we were there just for relaxation. Property is landscaped beautifully. Peaceful and quiet. Beautiful kitchen to prepare our meals and fresh raspberries picked from the garden for morning breakfast.

This quiet, lovely place is well cared for and has something for everyone: a large modern kitchen, spacious game room with pool table, tranquil paths to wander through gardens and wooded area. The location provides quick access to lakes and parks for paddlers and hikers. It’s not too far from shopping and I-5 if you’re visiting or sightseeing. Dale is friendly and easy to communicate with. We enjoyed our time here and are looking forward to returning!

We visited family in the 7-Lakes area and this rental was perfect, close to everything you need from stores to outdoor activities. We were able to easily get down to Seattle, San Juan’s, and north Cascade trail access (Sauk Mountain, Baker Lake).
Our host was friendly and accommodating, easily our best family vacation. The rental itself is wonderful, plenty of room to spread out, relax and enjoy family time. The only problem was the two weeks went by too fast!

This is a great house that has a fantastic layout for having any family event. This is the 2nd time we rented from Dale and once again we were not disappointed. The open concept allowed us to have 2 nightly dinner and game parties. Will be back for sure

This property is much larger than it might appear from the outside. I was alone this trip, but it reminded me of retreats during college days with lots of friends as it includes a large game room. I hope to return with family. The kitchen is large and supplied with everything one might need.

We came to Washington to visit my daughter, her husband and their brand new baby boy. We needed a place that was dog friendly to hang out because their house is being remodeled. This place was just what we were looking for!
The house is comfortable with lots of places to sit and converse. The kitchen is open to the living room so the cooks never feel isolated. And the kitchen is well appointed. And it was easy to clean.
The grounds are beautiful and peaceful. We walked around with their old dog and he loved the new smells!
The main bedroom was very comfy. Finally a bed that wasn’t too hard!
I can foresee staying here again, maybe with my other kids and their families because there was plenty of room!!

Get away hideout
The pictures don’t do this home justice. Very spacious with awesome layout to accommodate family events and get aways. We can during the winter but really close to Kayak Point park which our dog really enjoyed. We will be back

Super clean and great location!
We stayed at Dale’s property to have our own space during a family reunion near Kayak Point. Dale’s property is beautiful, and we felt welcome to wander the grounds and enjoy it all. We even had fresh tomatoes from his garden—such a treat! The house was incredibly clean with plenty of space for 2 adults and 3 little kids. It’s location up the road from Kayak Point was perfect. I’d definitely recommend this home for anyone staying in the area!

Washington vacation
We ran into issues getting to the rental property. Dale was very understanding and helpful. He had everything ready for us since we were arriving late at night. Dale offered all of his property for us to explore, which was wooded property. The house was very spacious which gave us plenty of room for the 5 of us. Dale made us feel like we were at home while staying there. We would definitely stay at his rental again. Thank you very much Dale for giving us an experience we will cherish forever

Awesome Place, Hiking Nearby
The property is Huge. There was plenty of room for my family: Dad (me), Wife, Son, his girlfriend, Daughter, her boyfriend. There are games and DirecTV. The stove is Gas (if you haven't used Gas, be sure and look it up), there is a microwave, and the bathrooms have Bidet's. That was new and an interesting experience. The place was clean, inviting, and rules are simple, easy to follow, and rather common sense for the place being in a rural environment. I would recommend 10/10, and we will be back again. Thank you.

Peaceful retreat
We needed a quiet, private getaway for a trip we had to make to the Seattle area. With COVID concerns, we didn't want a hotel, and this beautiful spot among the trees was just what we needed. Convenient to day trip to Anacortes and Whidbey Island, with a lovely county park just down the road.

Had a weekend getaway with my husband to meet up with my siblings on Camano Island. I knew the property was bigger than what the two of us needed but the price was right. The grounds and home are beautiful. It’s a very comfortable place to stay and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.

Large, quite and private home perfect for family
This home was large and perfect for our small children to run around and burn off some built up energy. Very clean with all necessary amenities. Dale was very nice and made sure we had everything that we needed during our stay. Will definitely look at booking this home again for our next trip to Washington.

We rented this house to celebrate a late Christmas with four of our grandkids, it turned out this house was perfect! Dale left the tree up for us, which was very thoughtful, very open layout, plenty of room for all of us, tons of essentials,very clean, plenty of hot water, very comfortable bed, the toilet, or should I say “bidet” which I opted out trying lol. Although it’s January, I can tell the grounds are beautiful and very well kept, we had a great time walking around checking out the property, would love to see it in the summer when everything is in bloom, we will definitely be back if it’s available!!

Lovely home in Standwood, WA
We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely home in Standwood, WA around Christmas time. The lights of Christmas at Warm Beach was close by, and a joy to experience. The house was both well appointed and very comfortable. The rental price was very reasonable, which made our trip more affordable at Christmas time. The owner/manager was very quick to respond to any questions we had, and to make sure we had everything we needed. Overall, a great experience. We would definitely go rent this house again!

Great place and hosts
This was a great place to stay, very easy to get in touch with Michaela and Dale. A very nice couple! The lot that the house sits on is just beautiful. This place is close to the beach and also sevral lakes. The weather wasn't the greatest when I was there but I got 2 wonderfull days at the beach. The house is very nicely remodeled,clean, well stocked,gorgeuos kitchen and VERY comfortable beds.
Had a great stay, I would highly recommend this place.

Good spot for a getaway for the weekend
We had a great time. The house is very spacious and very wonderfully taken care of both home and property. Would go back for a get together again! Would recommend to anyone that wants a little space away from home to relax and get great friends and family together!

Clean, Spacious and Modern
Our family of four enjoyed our stay at the vacation rental. The large TV was appreciated. If you want a functional and modern kitchen, this is the place to be. The toilets had heated toilet seats (comforting in the morning). Dale greeted us and was friendly upon arrival.
The vacation rental is very close to Kayak Point State Park. We went to the park one morning and walked along the beach. We also ate at Hop Jacks (off exit 206) during happy hour. The bottomless lemonade and garlic fries were amazing.
Make sure to use a GPS during the night because it is quite dark in the area. Although the vacation rental was only approximately 20 minutes from Seattle Premium Outlet, it felt secluded.
