This place is absolutely a five star accommodation. It is exactly as presented, and we had such an amazing time. It was me and my 80-year-old mother, who is very active, and we were easily able to navigate the paved incline up to the house with the handful of steps. It was the perfect cozy winter homebase for our three week trip to the south island. I would rent here again in a heartbeat, we were sad to leave. It had everything we needed, and Rachel was super responsive. It was even big enough to host my family or four who live locally in Dunedin over for dinner a few nights. Everything you need, million dollar view, cozy wood burning stove, Easy to get just about anywhere.

A lovely little house with beautiful views. Very clean. Heat pump was on so was very welcoming. Beds were comfy. Can’t really fault it. A very minor thing that would have made the welcome experience better would have been a small tea/coffee offering and a small amount of milk (even those hotel capsules). Just to enjoy a hot drink on arrival before you’ve had a chance to find a supermarket etc

The view was absolutely stunning.
The property was clean and tidy with everything that we needed. The location was accessible to Dunedin and only 10 minutes walk to the beach.
The walk up the stairs from the off street car park was worth it for the view.

Comfortable bed, hot shower, fully equipped kitchen, laundry facilities, fabulous views and very clean property - everything we needed. It was a steep climb up to the front door with our cases but we only had to do that once! Great location with plenty of street parking. Ideal for us.

Love, love, loved the Eagle’s Nest. From the incredible views to the warm and inviting rooms to the exceptionally well appointed kitchen, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I particularly liked the layout of the house capturing the warm sunshine and making the most of the ocean views. And the surfing/beach coffee table books were stunning. I assume the framed photo in the main bedroom and the photography books are by one of the owners of the Bach. If so, thank you for sharing them with us.

This property is always clean and tidy and perfect in winter with the fireplace and being able to long out over St Clair beach as the waves roll in.

The street has been correctly named for its fabulous views.
Comfort is outstanding and attention to detail making our stay cosy and comfortable. We will return for all the quality provided ie bedding and kitchen supplies - this place has it all.!

Great location for us, but we were surprised it was on a hill - lots of steps up to front door! View was worth it. 10 min to town, grocery store, etc. Property had everything we needed. Bedrooms not heated, but we loved having a heated mattress pad instead! Hair dryer available, but poor quality (didn't dry very fast). Would stay here again!

A nice stay, clean and comfy. We had four adults aged 60’s to 70’s and found the car parking space and the uphill walk with our luggage a bit daunting. A nice view but compared to other accomodation we have stayed In, at a cheaper cost it does not qualify for 5 stars. So its 4 stars from us.
Thank you.

Each morning the kids loved to watch the sea and to count the surfers. Quiet location up the hill, as a familly we loved our stay. It was easy, with the car, to get everywhere we wanted in and around Dunedin.

We felt at home immediately. Very clean, comfortable and cosy. Compact but roomy. Awesome sea views from lounge and master bedroom.. easy access to Otago Peninsular and Dunedin centre. A bit steep for us to attempt the walk to the beach (in our 70's) and unloading the car was exhausting after a six hour drive, up the steep drive, but by the end of the week we had got used to it and were fitter!
