The house was perfect for my party of 6 before and after our days at the festival. We loved how close it was to the Muni station and Safeway. Mary was a great and easy host to communicate with as well. Would do again!

We really enjoyed staying at Mary’s place as it was comfortable and interesting inside as well as perfectly located for Muni and bus routes in all directions to all key attractions in the city. An added bonus was the attractive local area aid selection of shops and cafes to walk to. Mary was also very helpful in responding to any queries and providing advice. Recommended!

It was so nice to stay in Mary's home. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine and snacks. Her home had everything we were looking for; great location - near the freeway and restaurants, bars and shops but very much a neighborhood. Her home was comfortable with a lot of charm and personality and not a sterile, boring environment, beds were comfortable, backyard space was an added bonus. There were written, clear instructions for any questions we might have had. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a 5 day intensive of 11 hour a days and it was a saving grace, everyday, to return to this special space. It was a wonderful home in which we could rest and recover. Two friends and I shared the house. The space was great for 3 of us. We felt so lucky to have such a great space. Great location also!

We came to enjoy San Francisco for a few days. We have visited in the past for day trips. Here we had a relaxing leisurely stay, enjoying the French cafe for breakfast (Cafe du Soleil) around the corner, incredible Indian food (India Oven) and shopping Lower Haight Street at Sabah House. Delighted by the lovely murals and beautiful houses all around!

This was one the best experiences I have ever had using a a Vrbo rental. Mary was so nice and informative. I absolutely loved her home. The location is awesome. Everything I wanted to visit within easy reach. I am hoping to return sometime soon. I cannot say enough good things about this property and the host. We loved this quaint Victorian flat. It had all the charm of a lovingly cared for vintage family home with everything working the way you would expect to work in a modern home. Mary had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable, from parking in the driveway, comfy beds, and interesting artwork, to yummy snacks and a delicious bottle of wine. The neighborhood features Victorian homes, cute breakfast cafe's and a plush green park with neighbors walking their happy dogs! This is a nice neighborhood and a perfectly central location for exploring the city.

Mary's place is in an excellent location, within easy walking distance of markets, bakeries, bars, restaurants and other amenities. There are numerous public transportation options for heading downtown and to the Ferry Building, the Embarcadero and beyond. The house is comfortable, with an atmosphere of old charm and interesting artwork. It has good heat and hot water. The host Mary is very responsive to inquiries. Her provision of refreshment treats as a welcome made me feel more like a guest than a short term renter. Staying here was an easy, pleasant and comfortable experience.

This house is spacious, well maintained and cleaned. Very cute garden out back. We didn't spend much time at home, other than in the evenings, as we were busy being tourists in SF, but the house was great base camp. Parking in SF is key, so that was fantastic. I had not noticed before the trip that there is not a washing machine in the unit. I would still stay there again, but would have packed a little differently for the kids!

We rented for a conference in town as hotels were insane. There were three of us. Local shops, gym, nail salon and diners all within a super short walk. We were comfortable and it was safe and enjoyable for our homebase during the conference.

I stayed at Mary’s place for Dreamforce. The location was easy enough to get downtown. There were nice areas not too far from the house. The house itself was not bad, definitely get that old Victorian feel. Good stay overall!

Spacious unique house with added bonus of the garden. Mary was a great host responding promptly to messages. The house was clean and the kitchen well stocked. We ate in two nights and went out two. Lots of options close by and convenient for food shopping. Public transport good once we got the hang of it, also walked a lot, up and down the hills ;) Could easily have stayed longer.
