First, Margery the host is over the top amazing. The house is beautiful and there has been such attention to detail as far as supplying what might be needed.
The views from the house and wrap around porch are gorgeous. There are so many options for outdoor seating that take advantage of the views during different times of day.
The is by far the best rental experience we have had, and we have had many over the years.
i can't imagine staying with anyone but Margery in our future visits to Tuscan.

The view was spectacular!
We stayed here for Christmas and New Years. It was the perfect gathering space for my family and in laws (who in Tucson). The kitchen was the best stocked kitchen in my VRBO experiences and it was super easy to cook Christmas dinner as well as New Years Eve dinner for 10 people. The round dining table was large enough to fit us all and a great game table. Margery was a wonderful host and made sure we had everything we need. And definitely one of the best views in town! We had a front row view for every sunset with the downtown in the distance and mountains all around. It was amazing! We really enjoyed every minute and highly HIGHLY recommend this home!! Thanks Margery!

Our home away from home
Margery’s house is the most welcoming, comfortable, well-provisioned and enjoyable that we have ever rented. You can tell that the house is owned by someone who loves it.
5244 Fort Yuma Trail North sits on top of a ridge with a 270 degree view. From the main rooms we have enjoyed a sunset almost every night over the western mountain ranges. At night we see the lights of Tucson.
The house is uniquely full of color and art. Even after a month, I notice art objects that I had not taken the time to study before.
We have never had a rental house this well stocked. Margery has anticipated every need. For example, there are 2 sets of washers and driers, 5 complete sets of table place mats, ordinary dishes and finer china, more cooking implements and cookware than we have at home, and a pantry with all the spices and cooking staples we have in our home.
It is almost as though a good friend has invited us to stay in her home while she is away for a while.
The neighbors are interesting. We regularly see javelinas, roadrunners, quail, and all sorts of other birds. At night we hear the chorus of coyotes. We were very lucky to be visited one evening by the neighborhood bobcat.
The house eaves and plentiful garden furniture allow us to sit in the sun or the shade whatever the time of day.
Margery has been totally responsive to the few items we have asked her about, and, because of her forethought, we had few questions.
We have loved our stay.

A true desert gem
This was the best stay we have ever had in a vrbo. Margery was an amazing host, who brought an attention to detail, and flowers, for our stay. Everything we could possibly need was already in the house and it truly felt like home from the moment we checked in. The house itself is spectacular. The views cannot be beat, the outdoor areas are perfect for a relaxing, peaceful stay, and the neighborhood is very quiet. It is just a short drive to grocery stores and restaurants, and amazingly close to some of the best hiking trails in and around Tucson. This house exceeded all of our expectations and we will definitely be back again.

"Let me start with, WOW!!!"
Our vacations are always spent at Home rentals. This home has topped all homes, including Atlantic Beach Front homes. Margery is absolutely wonderful and very thorough. Meaning her place had everything ready for us. From birthday Cupcakes w/Ballon, to furnishing things like TP, Papertowels, Ziplocks, Condiments and everything for the kitchen too. Everything was stocked. The place was spotless and the view's of Tucson were wonderful. Margery met us upon arrival, took us on a tour showing us everything and any guidance that we may need. She checked in later the next day to ensure everything was OK. Seriously, who does that anymore. "Margery does!" Our first morning we were met by a couple of Roadrunners in the backyard, with Quail and other desert animals...so beautiful. Its obvious why all of the comments of this place are so nice. Thank you so much Margery and we look forward to our next stay in Tucson at your place. Todd -n- Robin

Perfect stay...
Margery's place was fantastic. We met Carrie upon checkin and she was absolutely wonderful and provided us with great information. We also met Margery during our stay and really appreciated her hospitality and overall sense of caring. They were always just a text away if any questions arose. The home was fabulous both inside and out. We loved the views, birds, and peacefulness of this property. We had everything we needed, both inside the home and outside. We are looking forward to staying here in the future.

Stop! Look no further!
What a wonderful visit to Tucson! Margery was so very helpful before, during and after our trip. Her home is beautiful and so convenient to many places around Tucson. You will feel the love Margery has put into this home! The furnishings are fun, the views are wonderful and the hostess is the best. Our trip from the east coast was filled with delays, but Margery was there to greet us with a smile. Not only did she have a few surprises for us, she ran out to the grocery store before they closed to get us cream for our morning coffee, and she stood outside to guide us into the correct driveway when we couldn't find the house..(my error, I typed in the wrong house number). Our first morning found us with a dead car battery, and after 2 hours on hold with the car rental agency, a call to Margery was all it took for her to send someone to us to get us on our way. I can't rave enough about this property! From the beautiful views, sunrises and sunsets to the wildlife, everything about this home was serenity! The weather was perfect, so much so, that we even slept outside several nights just to watch the moon and stars and to listen to the coyotes and quails. If you are considering a visit to Tucson, don't bother look at any other properties. This is where you want to stay. Oh, and it was an easy walk to the beautiful pool! You will be very happy that you booked with Margery. She and her home are wonderful!

Amazing house with unbelievable views & host!
Words can't begin to explain our experience at this one of a kind house. This house beat all the previous VRBO homes that we've rented hands down. Margery, the home owner, and Carrie, the property manager, were outstanding & very attentive. Margery in particular was always in touch with us to be sure we were settled in, had everything we needed, and even tried to help me locate some towels that I wanted to purchase for home!
The house is the most stunning home I've rented, with handpicked gorgeous tile work throughout & mosaics on the two fireplaces that Margery did herself! This house was fully outfitted in ways that continually surprised & delighted us, from laundry detergent to even personal grooming items in the bathrooms. There was absolutely nothing that was forgotten! The house is situated on a ridge & the views from all the windows, especially the bay window in the kitchen provided stunning vistas & breathtaking sunset views. I'm still dreaming of that house and our memorable stay in Tucson. Perfect home, perfect host, perfect location for a perfect postcovid overdue vacation!

Best VRBO Ever
My husband and my parents and I stayed in this VRBO in January 2021 for one week. We loved it. The location was central. The views from the house were super. We watched birds and coyotes from the backyard.
What made this rental so special was that the house was so well appointed and the owner was so attentive. It felt like someone removed their clothes from the house and left everything else for our use...nice linens, quality cookware, bird seed for the feeders, garage door openers, napkins and paper towels, coffee and snacks, plus much more! The entire house was in great repair and decorated with great flare.
Book this rental now- you will not regret it!!

Amazing
Needed a property on short notice in Tucson. Luckily, Margery’s property had just become available. Margery is an amazing host, and the property is spectacular, as are the views.
Loved her personalized welcome message she had drawn on a large blackboard!
If I’m back in Tucson ever again, I will definitely book with Margery again!

A wonderful two months in Tucson
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the two months we spent in Tucson. The house on Fort Yuma Trail was just as inviting and comfortable as it has been for the past two years. To be specific, the house is cheerfully furnished. It is bright, clean, and offers splendid views of the Catalina mountain range, the desert, and the city, which is especially nice at night when it is lit up. The house, by the way, is adaptable to all climates with excellent heating and air-conditioning. The outdoor spaces are excellent.
The heating and air conditioning systems work effectively and quietly. Beds are comfortable. The kitchen is user friendly and well equipped with dishware, glassware, pots and pans and necessary implements for cooking and eating. The bathrooms are also large and comfortable. The closet space and drawers for clothing are spacious. The outdoor spaces (terrace, entrance way, and additional terrace space) enable special views in every direction including the brilliant late afternoon nd evening sunsets. The terrace off the living room has an ample overhang and a new effective grill for barbecuing. It is a quiet, peaceful location - wonderful for rest, relaxation, desert viewing and bird watching. The garage is neat, clean and spacious. Of additional significance is the kindness of the owner and her assistant who were readily available to answer any questions or troubleshoot if necessary. My wife and I consider this feature very special to complement the amenities of this wonderful house, which always makes us feel at home.

Fantastic vacation!
This was our first time in Tucson. We usually like to stay in houses (we love peace and quiet) and were a little unsure of a townhouse. But this place is virtually a house and is laid out well in a peaceful scenic community. Has everything you could ask for in a great part of town. Good hiking in Several Canyons nearby. Very comfortable beds. We found several great restaurants nearby, especially Harvest, in the Whole Foods shopping center.
Will definitely be back!

Exceeded Expectations
This is the second property we've rented from Margery. The first house was spectacular, so we knew this home would be very nice. It was actually better than nice--it was outstanding. The location is perfect, with views of the four mountain chains that surround Tucson. The interior is tastefully decorated, comfortable, and well-equipped. The yard and veranda offer five different venues for eating and relaxing. (We ate at least one meal outdoors each day, and watched every sunset!) The neighborhood is very quiet and walkable, yet just a few driving minutes away from shopping and restaurants. Margery and Carrie were their usual friendly and responsive selves. We know for sure that a "Margery Rental" always exceeds expectations. In fact, we are renting from her again for two months in 2018. Thank you, Margery and Carrie for making the month so enjoyable!

Return to Paradise!!
Just when you think it couldn't get any better it did!! This is the second time we have stayed at this gorgeous property of Margery's situated on a ridge top!!( we have also stayed at one of her other great homes) You are surrounded by three mountain ranges and desert on three sides,so unobstructed views which include the city lights twinkling at night! It doesn't get better than this!! In addition to the already stunning furnishings there is now a hand crafted Mexican coffee(huge) table in the living room and matching hutch in dining area! Looks fab! The art work is outstanding!!
Also there is now additional outside patio furniture! We especially enjoy the bar height glass table and chairs off the kitchen area to sip wine and watch the amazing sunsets! Everyone is different and beautiful!! Margery is a wonderful caring host and provides you with every amenity you can think of!! She truly cares about your stay with her and takes pride in her lovely home!! (Please read my first review too) we are always anxious to return to this special home that is both peaceful and so comfortable! Not to mention spacious and the wrap around patio is a real plus!!!! I actually miss it when we leave!! It's the only place I'll stay in Tucson and we've been coming out here for years from Chicago!! We can't wait to return again!!! We've found a true gem in the desert we adore and a perfect host to make the stay totally enjoyable! As I said Paradise!!

Our favorite rental property
My wife and I have been spending one or two winter months in Tucson since March 2005. This year we rented a home owned by Margery Rubin on North Fort Yuma Trail. The house itself is beautifully decorated. Each of the living spaces is unique. The master bedroom is the perfect size and is adjacent to an attractive master bathroom. There is a peaceful guest bedroom and a second area that could be used as a guest bedroom or den. The entire house is graced by magnificent views of three different mountain ranges through sizable windows. Birds are ever-present and there are feeders to attract them. The landscaping is lovely and beyond the walls of the property are rugged, beautiful desert cacti and shrubs. The terrace overlooks both the city of Tucson, and to the west and north are the Tucson Mountains and the Santa Catalinas. The terrace facing south is spacious with comfortable seating and a large overhang, which sheltered us from the the sun. In addition, the terrace contained a table with an umbrella which we used for lunches and cocktails while watching the sunsets. The dining area and living room are comfortable for ourselves and for entertaining. The decor has has a distinct Southwest/Mexican flavor. The MBR, living room and guest room each has a sizable and up to date flat screen TV. The kitchen and breakfast room are splendidly equipped with an excellent range and refrigerator-freezer. The kitchen contains modern equipment and state of the art utensils for cooking and eating. The living room has an attractive fireplace. The MBR has a gas fireplace as well. The heating and air conditioning work perfectly, both were quiet and effective. The terrace has a new gas grill which is top of the line and easy to use.
We could not have asked for more. The owner, Margery Rubin and her assistant, were always available and eager to please us at all times. February and March in this lovely house with its experienced and kind owner could not have been nicer. That's why we've already rented it for the same 2 months in 2018. After wintering in Tucson since 2005 in 5 different pleasant houses, we ultimately found our dream vacation rental.

Better Than Home - Snowbirds Delight
This is a beautiful home in a superb location. There is great hiking a few minutes drive away in Sabino Canyon. Grocery shopping is close by too. The home has everything you need - beautiful decor with lots of art, comfortable furniture and beds, large patio with a gas grill, plenty of TVs with a great package, wireless printer, well-equipped kitchen, bird feeder with lots of action, and best of all, spectacular views in all directions. The sunsets over the Tucson Mountains and the city of Tucson are unforgettable.

The best!
We spent the month of February in this wonderful house. The owner Margery and her property manager were gracious and welcoming and truly made us feel like like honored guests. We have rented many properties in Tucson, and this was the best by far. The house was equipped with every need provided. The views from every room were spectacular, and from the side patio we looked down on downtown Tucson, A Mountain and the valley below. We enjoyed sitting on the patio in the evening with a glass of wine watching the beautiful sunsets. In the other direction we were at the base of the imposing Catalina mountains. The location was so convenient, central to all of the important attractions of Tucson. Thanks Margery for a wonderful experience!

Paradise!!
We had the pleasure of staying at this gorgeous town home for six weeks. First, it has the most gorgeous panoramic views of the mountain ranges as well as the glowing city lights at night! There is a view from every window!! I loved feeding and listening to the many birds every morning. The decor is very tasteful, with amazing art work throughout the home. Top notch furniture, comfortable beds, and beautiful Mexican tile throughout the place. Three huge flat screen tv's and every amenity you could want (and more) in a vacation rental. It has a lovely backyard with a bbq and lots of room to stroll around the wrap around patio. Not to mention, a very delightful owner who meets your every need. This place is so amazing and has an excellent location to top it off!!!
