About this apartment rental
Situated in the heart of Central London Zone 1, Stamford street, near Blackfriars Bridge, Waterloo. Just minutes walk away from the cities vibrant London attractions and the South Bank (River Thames). This High spec, spacious, two bedroom apartment is fully equipped with Shaker Style Kitchen, a granite work top and oak veneer doors. There are also lifts available providing easy access for both able and disabled individuals to travel, to and from the ground floor. The apartment comes with a gas hob, oven, washer/dryer machine along with a fridge freezer allocated within the dining area of the apartment.
Sleeping arrangement as follows:
- 2 guests each accommodated in the two double bedrooms
- 2 guests in the living room on the double sofa bed
- Additional guest can be accommodated on an additional pull out bed (as used in top rated hotels)
*There will be an additional charge for the 7th guest*

Our stay with this place is terrible and a harrowing experience. We never meet the property manager. The climate in London is cold and wet and we arrive in the apartment before 11:00, tried to contact the manager and he/she never responded.
The drain in the kitchen sink, and two toilets and sinks are obstructed. We have to wait for the water to drain out or continue bathing with our feet soaked in water. We are 6 people, and the toilet paper supply is not enough for us, so we have to buy our supply and necessities.
Two days before we took our flight to London, I sent a message to the manager, asking her regarding the best transportation we could take to reach the places of interests, however, she sent me a message that the apartment is no longer available. I have reserved and fully paid the apartment, so I was nervous and apprehensive why she sent me a message that the apartment is no longer available.
The second day, my daughter-in-law was stuck in the elevator. I tried to contact the manager but again with no response. So, we call 999 and requested help from the police department. We waited for about 20 minutes and meantime my daughter-in-law was panicky, crying and was telling me, she couldn’t see anything inside the elevator, and I can hear her labored breathing.
The firemen came and was able to open the elevator door. They advised us not to use the elevator. It was a grueling experience as we were on the fifth floor with steep stairs. My husband and I are 80 years old and my sister is 75 years old, so we only go upstairs when it is time for us to go to sleep. Meantime, we sit on the stairs at the ground floor to have lunch and dinner.
Please tell the owner of the apartment to direct the property manager to have a personal contact with the renters and monitor at least every day if they are OK. Also, ,there should be regular inspection of the elevator and maintain the drainage in the toilet and kitchen.
I could have filed a grievance regarding the elevator, but it is not worthwhile as we are joining a group tour. However, I would suggest that the VRBO must at least do an inspection of the place before they listed the property.

Good location, comfortable space for our family of 4 adults. We enjoyed our stay and was easy to access transportation. The only reason I wouldn’t give 5 stars is the bathrooms were very tight and in need of a refresh (tile grout missing, etc). Overall, happy with our stay here.

Einfache zentrale Unterkunft
Das Apartment machte einen stark benutzten Eindruck. Die Betten waren durchgelegen, das Bad müffelte, Fliesen waren locker, Ecken abgestoßen, Rolläden kaputt, Straße sehr laut.
Positiv war die Lage, die Küche, viele extra Betten, es wurde Nachts deutlich ruhiger bis morgen um 8 Uhr.

Walking distance to Blackfriars or Waterloo bridge to access covernt garden and main attractions. supermarket and pubs in very close proximity and all very handy for travelling with 2 kids. No kids frills including movie channel or toys etc but a great spot for sightseeing london.
