About this cabin rental
For each reservation made through the end of this year, we will be donating $100 to the NC relief efforts. Freedom Finder cabin is one of 2 cabins I own in the area. They are both part of Freedom Finder Vacation Rentals. The other cabin, Memory Maker, is just 5 miles away. If Freedom Finder isn't available for your dates, make sure to look up or ask about Memory Maker cabin. Also, if you have a a few more people in your group, it's convenient to reserve both cabins.
Freedom Finder is a spacious cabin with 3 bedrooms; 2 upstairs and one downstairs. With 2 fire pits, hot tub, luxurious porch swings, and an outdoor bed, the outdoor space is an oasis of tranquility. Grill some burgers on the AKORN and play a game of corn hole or horse shoes. On those colder days, curl up by the fireplace and play some board games or watch a movie. There's plenty of room to stretch out with 3 full-size sofas in the den. Freedom Finder is also dog-friendly (with a 2 dog maximum and $125 pet fee for each dog).

This property has every single thing you need to enjoy your vacation. It's spacious, clean, well appointed, cozy, perfectly located and Lynette provides personal touches that make you feel like a guest rather than a renter. It's located close to beautiful hiking locations, scenic parks and downtown Helen. It's on a quiet road that allows a good place to walk your pups, that Lynette graciously welcomes.
We felt comfortable the moment we arrived. Some of our favorite things in no particular order: water pressure, tap water—amazing, the porch, the jacuzzi. Our host thought of everything we might need or didn't know we needed. The décor, the beds were almost too comfortable.
Elizabeth is a great host and it is well stocked with anything that you might have forgotten.

Staying at the "Freedom Finder" cabin was an incredible experience. This is the second cabin we've stayed at from this host, and once again, it exceeded our expectations. Every detail is meticulously thought out, making you feel like a truly welcomed guest. Lynette was incredibly helpful and responsive. By the way, you’ll get a e-guidebook with tons of useful information about things in and around the property. The cabin is equipped with everything you could possibly think of, including a dedicated stargazing zone, can you imagine? ✨. Words can't fully capture the amazing experience you'll have staying in this home. This is an absolute and honest recommendation.

Our family vacation getaway was a success, and in large part because of the work Lynette did prior to our arrival and her availability during our stay. Online guide that we could all access—yes! Games and entertainment—yes! Gathering spaces—beautiful! We didn’t need to do much research or bring much with us because Lynette had everything together. We showed up and had a great time in a beautiful, peaceful location.

We fell in love with the Freedom Finder cabin and the town of Helen, GA. This property is immaculate, well-appointed and very family friendly. The amenities like the hot tub, the wrap around porch, rocking chairs, fire pit/sitting area, and the bedrooms were exceptional....lending to a very inviting atmosphere. This was such a gorgeous and well kept cabin. The owner left so many wonderful details for the kiddos. We had scavenger hunts, hammock time and s’mores. The beds were so comfortable and the fact we could bring our dogs was a great treat. The property is private and quiet. We had no problems getting in and out of Helen GA to explore. I especially loved how we could spend all day at the cabin because there was so much to do. The owner was so nice and we hope to stay at her other properties in the future! Highly recommended to all our friends!

This cabin was truly a home away from home. If we needed anything, we just looked and there it was! Amenities were not "cheap" rental ones that you often find. It was very clean and the home itself quite secluded. We were a family of six but yet we had space between the cabin and exterior. If you go nowhere there was still lots of fun things to do and play. Lynette, our host, is proud of her home and it shows! Thank you for sharing it with us who need that mountain "getaway".

6 adults. When we arrived, getting inside was very simple. It is in a very secluded and private location. Everything was very clean and we felt welcome from the time we walked through the door. The inside felt cozy. Everything was clearly explained. The hot tub was perfect-hot and clean. The large porch was also amazing. We all loved how exceptional this house is and we plan on coming back in the future. Lynnette is the best host I have ever had with VRBO and I wish there were more like her. She goes above and beyond to make sure her guests are well taken care of. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay.

Perfect cabin retreat! Lynette is a very attentive host and had the cabin stocked with everything one might need. The thoughtful touches for my husband's birthday were an added bonus. Also appreciated were the amenities and some extra treats for our pup. Self checkin/checkout was very convenient. The cabin is just as described and better. We enjoyed the falling leaves from the colorful trees in the backyard from the porch, sounding like rain. We used the firepit area and hottub each night except when we went into Helen for Oktoberfest festivities one evening. We ventured out to Anna Ruby Falls one day too.
We all agreed we would definitely come back to Freedom Finder and we are telling all our friends.

Freedom Finder was exceptional. Everything you could possibly need is already there. We enjoyed all the personal touches and gifts. Lynette was very helpful and responsive.
It was very peaceful and quiet and the property was very clean with plenty to do. Our 2 doodles loved the woods!

I can't tell you how wonderful and welcoming it was to be greeted with such warmness and charm... before we even opened the door. You know it is going to be a great property when the porch feels like home. This cabin felt like it was mine, everything I needed or could even think of needing was right there. Every time I opened a drawer, I was surprised at the items provided for me. Coming from living in Colorado for 30 years, I felt I could have been in Breckenridge, or Winter Park, or many of the wonder places with this level of Mtn charm. BUT, with the added bonus of all things GA mtns, green, rivers and wineries nearby! Each morning we enjoyed our coffee on the porch with the wonderful swings... and we stayed in them for hours. It was so comforting that is was actually hard to get dressed and make ourselves leave the property! We never did have a fire, but we enjoyed the lights of the fire pit and hammock and hot tub every night. We did enjoy the hot tub, and were even provided super 'waffle towels', for the hot tub. The grounds were nice and clean and manicured, and the walking path covered with a beautiful green moss. Hands down the best home rental I have ever experienced. On top of the wonderful property... on leaving it was discovered that in my state of relaxation that I had left some very important personal items in one of the bedside table drawers, and Lynette made sure I got those items returned to me without any expectations. The house just feels like your own home, and you can feel the love and care but into everything there. The only problem is that you have to leave at the end of your stay! Just all around a truly great memory of a perfect relaxing week in the GA mtns.

Place was amazing, everything just as described. Lynette even had the small touches that make a guest feel special, a welcome basket with smore fixings as well as a personal thank you card; and a tray in the master bedroom with a bud vase, books, and mints.

Freedom Finder was exactly as advertised, only better. It was an easy drive to town, yet felt very private and peaceful at the cabin. Lynette has thought of everything, she has anything you could possibly need or want. We have stayed in many vacation homes and none were as stocked as Freedom Finder. We will definitely stay he next time we are back in Helen.

Everything was perfect at the house. It was the best stocked house that I have ever rented. I mean, everything was thought of! We did not lack for anything! It was nice and private, yet 4 easy miles to downtown Helen. Lay down outside on the day bed and read a book or lay out there under the stars - you won’t regret it! Thank you, Lynette, for being such a wonderful host, and making our one year wedding anniversary one that we won’t forget!

This rental was an outstanding rental. The cabin was well maintained, and when we arrived there were special items that welcomed us there. The hot tub was great, clean and worked perfect. The rooms were stocked to and above standard. The fireplace in the living room was the icing on our stay. The fire pit outside was well lit and a great place to prepare smores. If you are looking for a family rental, this is it.

Four adults stayed in Lynette's Freedom Finder cabin in Helen the week after Thanksgiving 2022. We were determined to have a relaxing vacation, and this cabin was just what we needed. It was beautifully decorated for Christmas, and Lynette's special touches were everywhere. We really enjoyed the delicious hot tea basket and the fun s'mores basket. One afternoon, we actually made a fire in the fire pit to roast marshmallows for the s'mores...so good! The beds were very comfortable, and everything we could possibly need was in the cabin.
Visiting Helen was fun, and every place we ate served delicious food. We enjoyed shopping, especially at the antique shop and the glassblowing store. It was fun just to walk around.
Helen and Freedom Finder were the perfect combination for us!

Lynette , the property manager, had the cabin beautifully decorated for the Christmas season making the holiday very special. We have never traveled and spent Christmas away from our home. It was nice.
So many conveniences , items and amenities left for us . She really goes the extra mile and very available with cold weather issues.

Amazing Thanksgiving weekend with friends! This cabin is just perfection, nestled in the mountains yet close to town, fully, stocked, super clean, and just full of ambience! The owner is super responsive & helpful and gave us the best trips which made our trip even better than we imagined…already booked again for next fall and am so excited to go back!!!!!

This cabin is great. The owner really cares about every detail. It is only minutes from downtown Helen. I loved there were so many couches for everyone to relax on. Such a bonus. The firepit and hot tub were amazing. Thank you for such a great stay.

The Freedom Finder was amazing. The owner obviously has not overlooked or left out a single detail. The instructions and digital notebook were perfect. The location of this cabin was just far enough outside of town to give you privacy. The cabin was stunning inside and out with literally everything you would need. From the landscaping to the decor this cabin is perfect. There's no other way to describe it. Our boys, both (8) years old had the time of their lives. The adults relaxed everywhere. The furniture inside and out was very inviting. All of the supplies for a fire, making smores and arrival gifts were perfectly arranged when we arrived. The house was beyond what we expected. This was the best VRBO we have ever stayed in so far. Cannot say enough.

Freedom Finder is a beautiful cabin and in a very convenient location to Helen and the surrounding areas. The furnishings were comfortable, we especially enjoyed all the amenities in the bathrooms and kitchen. The porch is wonderful for sitting outdoors. Lynette is an excellent host with great communication. We would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone visiting the area. You will not be disappointed.

I celebrated my birthday, with family. Lynette even had a Happy Birthday banner hung and signs in the yard, nice touch! The cabin was as described, very cozy and well decorated. The wrap around front porch with all the rockers and swings was our favorite, for hanging out or breakfast. We will definitely be back in the fall, when the weather is a bit more pleasant! Host was very communitive and fast with responses.

This cabin was perfect in every way. It was close enough to town but far enough to offer the seclusion we were looking for. Lynette, the host was exceptional. Her communication was quick, her home spotless and beyond stocked with everything we could possibly need or want. The little touches ensured we will be back in the future.

I relaxing retreat with a excellent outdoor spaces fire pit, hammock, porch and hot tub all with mood lighting. The host has equipped the home with all the extras which allows you to just focus on the moment. Great space for adults only, kid friendly or multi family vacation. The home is close to downtown activities and a state park for the outdoor enthusiast. This place has it all.

This is the second time we have stayed in Freedom Finder. The house is amazing and the property is set up to enjoy the outdoors and mother nature. The wrap around front porch with all the rockers and swings are my favorite for reading and drinking coffee in the morning. My husband really enjoys the firepit...and so do my fur babies. Lynette thought of everything to make our stay perfect! Book this place...you won't regret it!

Perfect Get Away
I can’t find one complaint with this property.. We had ages from 13-76 everyone loved the cabin the outdoor space. The board games and puzzles huge hit for night time family time. The TVs were rarely even used cause there was so much to do. The owner goes beyond and above to make sure your comfortable. We loved our basket of goodies to make s’mores by the fire pits. We all agreed this cabin is our go to Family retreat from here on out. Looking forward to our Winter retreat.

Freedom Finder Extraordinaire
Truly outstanding. The cleanest cabin we have ever stayed in. Absolutely meticulous. The extra touches from the Easter decor, the birthday wishes, toiletries in the bathrooms, were too many to list all of them. The grounds and setting were so well maintained. What a relaxing getaway and a great place to stay. We cannot recommend it highly enough!

Family Get-away
My family truly enjoyed our stay at Freedom Finder. We loved all the little Easter touches throughout the cabin. There were plenty of outdoor activities to do as well as enjoyment in the town only a very short drive away. Thank you for helping my family make lasting memories and enjoy a little different twist to our Easter this year.
