Located in the private gated community of Omni Amelia Island Plantation. The ocean views from this top floor condo are unbelievable! There are incredible views from every room! Gorgeous ocean views, Intracoastal views as well as pool views! You won't be disappointed!
This well-appointed and recently updated with wood flooring in the living, dining and second and third bedroom, three-bedroom, three-bathroom oceanfront condo has everything you could want for a fabulous weekend getaway or a memorable summer vacation with the family. This beautifully furnished unit has all the comforts of home with recently updated wood floors and painted in living room, dining room and third bedroom. The condo is also equipped with wifi internet as well as cable and streaming for your enjoyment.
Each bedroom has a flat screen tv as well as one in the living room for use. The master bedroom is wonderfully furnished for comfort with a spacious king size bed for relaxing. The second bedroom has two sets of twin size beds, while the third bedroom has two XL double beds for use. Each bedroom has a full bathroom which has been updated with two of the bathrooms having sitting areas for the evening preparations for a night on the town. All have amazing views of the Intracoastal Waterway with unforgettable sunsets!

Clean, great views, accurate pictures, great communication from manager. Quiet property. Very family friendly. Everthing worked. Would go back again! One note - not an easy stay if you have a wheelchair, though we knew what we were getting and have no complaints. You will be happy if you book this property.

I loved this vacation rental, honestly one of my favorites of all time. It feels lived in, so the kids immediately felt comfortable. The pool was great, beach was great, having grills outside was nice. I can’t say enough good things! Me and the fam hope to be back!

Ample room for our entire group. Having three bedrooms and bathrooms made it easy for entire family to get ready for adventures. Breathtaking views with easy access to beach and poolside activities. Clean and well maintained. Just bring your swimsuits and water gear and relax in the sun. Would definately recommend

It was a wonderful stay at the Shipwatch condo. Great area right on the beach with beautiful views. Easy access to the beach and the pool. Charcoal grills in the condo complex. Great for a family beach getaway.

Amelia Island is beautiful. This Vrbo is part of the Omni Resort Villas. As described on the upper level with elevator access the view when our family walked in is breathtaking! Each of the 6 of us had plenty of room. Our host provided numerous games and books for evening. There was nothing lacking in the fully equipped kitchen. Two bedrooms had en suite bathrooms and the 3rd was across the hall. Great location to get to Top Golf on outskirts of JAX. The ocean at the Villa provided lovely walks and we could come back to cool off and rest at or in the pool. With all we did during the long daylight hours, dinners were late but no one complained. A private boat tour with Capt. Glenn was super informative and easy to find on Amelia Island. We recommend visiting the Historic District, too. None of us could’ve asked for a better host or vacation spot. It’s also only 45 min. from JAX airport.

Good place for family gatherings. Would not work well for handicapped because elevator does not go to condo entrance. You have to walk up or down to your condo no matter where you stay.l That is the only negatie. Everything else is positive.

Our family spent a week at this VRBO. It was perfect for us. It was large enough for our extended family, We enjoyed the beach, pool and had all we needed in the kitchen on the days we cooked. It was conveniently located to the marina where the guys went deep sea fishing and the girls took speed boat tours. It was also close to the local fishing areas.

We were delighted with out rental choice. Our unit had an awesome view of the ocean and the pool. The condo was spacious and each bedroom had its own bathroom. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony each evening. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your place.

We loved this adorable condo on the Omni Resort property. Great location with extremely convenient access to the beach and the property pool. The view was beautiful as well. The condo is spacious and was very clean with all the amenities you could need for a week long vacation. Our family of four along with my sister’s family of 4 were very comfortable and had plenty of room for sleeping and moving about without feeling like we were all bouncing off each other. The resort has several conveniently located restaurants within a 10 min or less drive and Amelia Island State Park and Boneyard Beach are also a short drive down the road. We made a day trip into historic Fernandina which was an easy 20 min drive and absolutely charming with lots of great shops. We’re looking forward to making this an annual vacation and hope to stay in this condo again.

This is a very nice condo on the upper floor. It was enough room for us and our two children and their families. We loved having a keypad entry and not having to keep up with a key or card. It's a pretty good trek to the beach with all your stuff and little ones - and getting up and down the steps on walkways with beach carts, but other than that, our stay at Shipwatch Villas was great!!!! I would highly recommend it!

Very nice condo. Large unit with impressive balcony views. Unit has been updated with modern appliances and accessories. Bring your own beach chairs and umbrella however. Would suggest they provide luggage carts or baskets to help carry your belongings from the car. Enjoyed our stay.

Everyone enjoyed. It is so convenient. We were there mid October & Falcons Neat, one of our favorites, was closed for the week but we will be back. This is our 4th stay at the Plantation - so convenient & safe - you can let the kids roam.

My friends told me “You did good!” when they saw this villa. It has been updated and the furnishings are beautiful, comfortable as well as functional. The view is breathtaking and the surroundings of this property are lush and well-maintained. The villa is fully stocked and you shouldn’t have to bring anything but your clothes and toiletries. The first night, while sitting on the balcony, we saw two large turtles in the green space. Wow!
The owner is helpful and responsive. If I didn’t have a destination bucket-list, I’d be back next year!

This condo is very nice and has everything you could possibly need. The view of the ocean is better than the pictures can depict and the area the condo is in is beautiful with lots of trees and walking trails. We had a great time and would not hesitate to come back again.

This was our first visit to Amelia Island and we had a wonderful time. The property was as described, check-in was easy, and working with Amy was great! And Amelia Island was beautiful and peaceful. We hope to visit again soon!

Perfection
I really can’t say enough good things about this property. The view and location are phenomenal. We had kids with us, so proximity to the beach and pool were important. You are so close to both in this unit. It was clean and well cared for. Air conditioning and water pressure were excellent. Something that always drives me crazy is the tiny amount of “starter supplies” you get in most rentals. This place had plenty of everything, and we had 7 people. Enough towels, toiletries, kitchen necessities, everything. Check in and departure were super easy, loved the keyless entry. Very spacious, two balconies, wi fi was great. We would definitely recommend this rental!

Another excellent stay
This is our second year to stay in this condo with family. Everything was perfect, just like last year. You can’t beat the views, the beach, and the pool. Used the outdoor grills by the pool for a great cookout. Saw lots of wildlife from the balcony, from rabbits to turtles to dolphins. We hope to make this an annual family gathering here.

This property was exactly what we hoped for. We give this condo 9.5 out of 10. Our only suggestion would be to replace the bed mattress on all beds. Everything else was spot on!! Thank you.

The views from this condo are really spectacular. You can catch the sunrise over the ocean on the front patio and the sunset on the back patio. The property manager was very easy to communicate with. Everything was clean and well stocked. We couldn't ask for much more. Great place for our young family and we hope to return in the future!

Checked into the villa just as it was described til we walked out on the balcony. Our ocean front view was far from what we expected. After speaking to several owners and doing some investigating we found out the were rebuilding the beach. This project has been planned for two years and has been going on for some time now (working it’s way up the beach.) We shortly realized the “100 yard or less walk” to the beach was now 350 yards!! Yes 350 yards! Needless to say once you got situated on the beach you were there for the day. I immediately contacted the rental agency explaining to her how nice the condo and property was, but the construction on the beach was not acceptable. I explained I would be leaving a bad review because I feel like she (Amy Murphy) should have warned us about this especially since we had only rented it on the Monday before arriving Wednesday. Her response was,”well I’ll leave a bad review on you too.” I knew then I would need to have the remaining conversations between us in writing so I hung up and started texting. Then she stated things like, “You started off angry.” Yes I did. I asked plainly about distance to the beach because we were bringing our moms and we didn’t pay that kind of money to look at that and have this inconvenience. She then said,” she had no idea it was in front of the villa (“machinery just got there the day we arrived)” and it was my fault because I booked it.” Well little did she know we had already spoke to some other owners where they confirmed the fence had been in front of villa for almost two weeks and machinery since last week. Another couple said their rental agency contacted them on Friday before Saturday arrival about the situation and offered them half off stay or full refund and cancellation. Another group who also rented from Amelia Home Management got the same treatment I did. I told her I would give her the benefit of the doubt she didn’t know it was in front of the villa , but she knew it was coming that way and the right thing to do would be to warn customers of the possibility of the inconvenience. Yet we got nothing! We had several more intense conversations where she (Amy Murphy) conducted herself unprofessionally. Day 2 I finally was able to reach the owner of the villa directly. I explained the situation and he was very apologetic and said she knew this was going on and he immediately offered us a refund. He was very concerned of how business was handled. Owner did right thing!

After being informed by the property manager of the plumber arriving between 3-5 pm to fix the issue, I arrived back from the beach around 1pm to getting something and the plumber was inside of the condo trying to fix the issue. It concern me because he did not try to contact me. He stated, that he was in the area and decide to stop by. He also stated that I should have not use the drano cleaner that was in the bathroom because it was known to solidify and become hard as cement. Which is untruth because I did some research and it does not solidify but can cause other issues. He also stated the buildings were old and have a lot of plumbing issues and should be pushed down, but the building are well maintained and look great. The plumber left the condo and did not inform me he was coming back and about ten minutes he entered the condo again without knocking or ring the doorbell. The plumber state he had call another plumber to come by and decide to vacuum the water out of the drain and found very small sea shells and sand blocking the drain which fixed the problem. My main concern was the safety of my guest because he should have contact me and the property manager about the change in reporting to the condo. I had several females in my family and one could have been in the shower. The property manager did and excellent job with everything and I hope she speaks to the plumbing company and informed them about this issue so other guest will not experience any inconveniences. The condo was in excellent condition and yes I would stay again. Thanks Amy for all your help you were a great hostess.
