I loved this quaint little cabin!! It was everything we needed. We stayed for a week and the location was great for us !! The hosts David and Angela were absolutely amazing at making sure we had everything that we needed. They seriously have everything covered from shampoo and conditioner with body wash to some spices in the kitchen!! Upon arrival they had a cute little snack basket that was incredible. I will definitely stay here again if we are ever in the area. Highly recommend this place ❤️

The cabin was cute and cozy. I was sorry I was there during a freakish cold snap and unable to sit outside on the porch swing and enjoy the view. The hosts are gracious and willing to help out anyway to make your stay a pleasant one.

Josh n Donna were awesome. They were very helpful on any you needed. On the 1st day Donna came to greet me and give me a short tour. She also delivered a loaf of fresh baked bread and jams. It was so delicious I could have asked for more, but I should not be eating bread. Donna, thank you for hosting me and I plan on coming back one day with my wife.

Phenomenal experience
Donna and Josh made the vacation beyond memorable. The cabin was exquisite and they had everything we would need on site. Each day they dropped us to the kayak spot and would come back to get us.
Welcoming us with bread and a wonderful southern hey y’all was the beginning of an unforgettable stay. We would recommend going here for a nice time to get away.

Lovely Place & Lovely People!
We stayed for two nights in one of the cabins. We were greeted by the property owners with a delicious loaf of home-baked bread, jam, apple butter, and a homegrown tomato. What a welcome after a long drive! The cabin was very clean and comfortable. It had everything you'd need. The view of Cherokee Lake was beautiful and relaxing. Nice area to walk around.
The owners were very accommodating and let us keep our trailer on the side of the cabin. I totally forgot to mention that we were bringing a trailer, but they were great about it. We feel like we made friends and look forward to staying there again.
Thanks for being so great, Donna & Josh!!

Cute, clean and quiet
This property is adorable! Donna and Josh, the hosts, live in the property and could not have been friendlier or more welcoming! She baked a loaf of fresh bread and brought it to us with jam! The cabin is one of two and they have a view of the lake. Nearby you can rent pontoons to go out on the lake. It was a nice little getaway for us as we search for property in Tennessee. Definitely recommend!

Bean Station
Our Cherokee Lake cabin was the perfect place for my wife and me and our dog Dylan. Donna, our host, was wonderful. Communication with her in advance of our stay was easy and very informative. On our day of arrival she met us with a delicious loaf of fresh baked bread. We hope to stay in one of her cabins the next time we come to Bean Station.

I would recommend The Hill by Cherokee Lake to anyone. The view is breathtaking, owners are great.
Renting was easy, can’t wait to go back for a repeat visit. I feel I made a friend instead of a financial decision on vacation spot. Much, much better than any hotel.

A great little cabin with great view of lake!!
Overall, it was a clean, cute, cabin. The on-property owners were very nice. The lake is a little hike, and by this I mean that the cabin is located across the street from the lake and sits up on a hill. Going down is easy, coming back was a workout for us. A neighbor owns the beach area that we used, and there is a gravel driveway area so we took our car after the first trip!!
Because of CoVid, we did not want to go out for dinner or go to public places so we brought all of our own food. The cabin was sufficiently stocked with everything we needed to cook with and there were spices and some condiments. We forgot mustard and the owner graciously gave us some to use.
There were only two things that we had a minor issue with during our stay; one was the comfort of the porch furniture and two was the lawn mowing during dinner that was done two nights in a row, during our dinner on the porch, as the mower was having mechanical issues. We brought our own lawn chairs, so we used them and maybe the lawn could be mowed during non-dinner hours.
Josh built us a great fire in the fire pit but the weather was just too warm to enjoy sitting by it. The kayaks were very enjoyable as well. We did not turn the tv on so I cant speak to that.
We ended up having an issue with our car's A/C so we left very early in the morning, on our last day, as we had an 8 hour drive and were thinking it best to try to beat the heat as much as possible.

(5-Stars) PERFECT WRITER'S RETREAT & SUNDAY SUNRISE KAYAKING TOURS
UPON ARRIVAL I was greeted by the most delightful hosts, DONNA & JOSH, whose sweet southern hospitality could have been an exerpt taken from a book. The cabins are charming! Stunning lake views from the front porch swing. My favorite is JOSH'S 2-HOUR GUIDED KAYAKING TOURS ON CHEROKEE LAKE. The tours are offered only on Saturdays and Sundays. JOSH'S SUNDAY SUNRISE TOUR will take your breath away. [Additional rates for each 2-hr tour but very reasonable & worth every penny]
