Great location, very comfortable beds, very nice Onsen within the hotel and very helpful staff

The best property out of my entire stay in Japan. The staff was friendly and professional. There were many different options for breakfast. My Kaiseki dinner host was a very sweet and kind girl and the chef’s dinners were incredible! Not to mention, the onsen had so many great amenities. I am recommending this property to everyone.
Everything was perfect.

Perfect with Mountain View room. Hotel location beside lake is also so nice.
Staff is very kind but hard to communicate in English. It would be better if hotel prepare some information in English of transportation, sightseeing guide …

We liked the onsen, room and the Mt Fuji view from the room (we were lucky with clear sunny weather). It was very relaxing and the food was yum. It had convenient access for in a car and next to the lake with a convenience store nearby. Nice area to walk around too.
The explantation about the buffet was a little unclear, but it was good once it was sorted.

This hotel caters to tour buses. Perhaps it is better in the summer. The only saving grace to this hotel was the down comforter on the too soft bed, and the onsen which is quite good.
The restaurant was only open to the tour bus guests. No kidding. They would not serve us. So we went to the nearby Denny’s for breakfast, and the nearby Chianti Italian restaurant for dinner (which was surprisingly good).

Onsen was great, the weather was bad so we were unable to see Mt Fuji from the room although the room could have had an amazing view minus the clouds.
Booking.com listed the hotel as English friendly but no staff we interacted with spoke any English.

Roger at reception could not do enough to help with my stay. From restaurant suggestions to onsen use the team were great

I saw Mount Fuji so closely. I like the outdoor onsen. The location is good.
No restaurant opened at the hotel.

Pros - The aesthetic view of Mt Fuji at sunset and dawn. The hot spa bath. The closeness to Lake Yamanakako. The hotel's energy saving policy. The helpfulness of the staff. The reasonable cost of the room. The nearness of the bus stop's location to the hotel's reception. The peaceful quiet within the hotel. The access to drinks. The ease of the Wi-Fi connection.
Cons - No breakfast included in the hotel. No dinner included in the hotel, but there were a number of good cafes and restaurants nearby. No BBC TV channels. No English speaking TV channels. No English speaking radio, but the wi-fi worked well for world webpages.

Great view of Mt Fuji
It was very outdated for the money, definitely just leeching of the view. It was 3x the per night cost of our hotels in Ginza, in Tokyo, and looks like it hasn’t been updated since it was built.

- ideal location if you want to explore Yamanakako
- close to the bus stop
- perfect view of Mt. Fuji
- the receptionists did great considering all the annoying visitors discussing those daft travel vouchers
- it was relatively quiet, even though the hotel was full

The staff at the front desk was kind and extremely helpful. The location near the lake is lovely. There is a big parking space, which is good because there are few buses in this area.
The structure (especially the bathroom) is a bit old. There was some hair (髪の毛) on the floor, at the side of the toilet. I think that the cleaning staff forgot to remove them/did not notice them.

The view of the mount fuji on the window and the location.
i was expeceting a soup and egg for breakfastz
