Amazing place with incredible staff!

The location was perfect right in the centre with easy access on foot to the beaches, shops, bus station and more. The attentiveness of Eirini was incredible who recommended us restaurants to which we didn't have a single bad meal all holiday. The beds were really comfy. We didn't use the kitchen facilities apart from the fridge. The breakfast each day was good, with fresh pastries, greek yoghurt with fruit and more.

A great place to stay in Rethymno

Lovely hotel in a back alley in Rethymno. Very convenient for visiting the town, with great shops and restaurants nearby. Most of the rooms are located round a pretty courtyard with a small pool. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast. There was a problem with one of the rooms we had reserved, but they offered us a large apartment next door as an alternative.

Parking is a problem Not very close, and expensive.

Stunning little hotel in the heart of the old town. Excellent location, beautiful hotel and rooms. The staff were amazing, friendly and always helpful. The rooms were 10/10. An incredible place to stay.

A small gem in the old town, in love with this place!

Everything! The cutest little boutique hotel we could have hoped for! Right in the old town pedestrian zone, close to the hustle and bustle, but completely secluded and peaceful. The staff were amazing! So many great tips for little local tavernas with the best meze we could gave asked for!

Wish we could have stayed longer

The whole establishment is absolutely fabulous. The rooms are decorated beautifully while still keeping the aura of the premises. So handy to the old town and fabulous shops. Owner and staff couldn't have been more helpful.

The perfect hotel

Everything was absolutely perfect. The atmosphere, the decoration, the place were really great. Our room was so cosy and cute, with a very comfortable bed. The staff was there for us to give us so nice advices and recommendations for the town. We liked also very much the breakfast which is traditional greek and kind of different than the usual. We hope that we have more chances in the near future to visit the beautiful Crete and of course Mythos Suites Hotel.

A hidden heaven

Mythos is by far one of the best hotels I’ve ever visited. The rooms and all the spots of the hotel are so nicely decorated and very calm, which helped us so much to relax. The location of it is so convenient, in the heart of the old town. Every morning we were starting our day with a tasteful breakfast, based on traditional Greek and Cretan products . Thalia and Manolis were always there for us to give us the best tips for the town and to welcome us with a warm smile.

Superb

The hotel is in the center of everything, near the harbor, restaurants and shops. The owner is very friendly, welcoming and extremely helpful. Breakfast was tasty, with fresh produce. Room was clean and pretty spacious.

The family room (executive suite) arrangements was not very comfortable, with 3 levels and narrow staircases.

overall a good stay

Centrally located , but like a quiet oasis. All the staff were marvellous, providing suggestions for restaurants, and places to visit. The hotel was kept completely clean and tidy at all times, and room cleaning, was exemplary. Every room provides an electronic mosquito killer together with the required tablets. Air Conditioning effective and essential. Breakfast was good, although somewhat repetitive, ringing the changes in meats, would have been good.

Given its location, taxis struggle to draw up outside the hotel so anticipate a walk from the waterfront to access the hotel, which after an early start, and delayed flight may not be your first choice, with heavy suitcases. There are no sun loungers around the pool which was the only downside, relaxing in a deckchair is not the same, given each apartment has it's own chairs and small table, replacing others around the pool with sun loungers would make it perfect.

Rethymno a great spot. Great mix of town with beach nearby.

Great location, cool old building, staff lovely. very clean. Greek breakfast really nice. They were brilliant with our 8 year old who loved it here. Beach 10 mins walk away. The hotel is right in the middle of the old town and you step out onto the old windy streets with shops, bars and restaurants. We loved wondering round in the evening and there are lots of places to choose from to eat at to suit all budgets. When we arrived we parked temporarily on the road on the harbour front and walked though to the hotel as the road next to it is closed to traffic from midday - only a few mins walk. The host then showed us where we could park long term - there is free parking (10 mins walk) which we used and also paid parking (5 mins walk). When we left as it was the morning we were able to park next to the hotel to load up up our luggage.

Parking tricky if using a hire car but made up by the location. See above for parking details - don’t let this put you off.

Great location, great rooms, friendly staff, everything is fine!

We had a great time at Mythos Suites Hotel. The staff was very helpful and nice all the time and we felt very much at home there. Breakfast was also good with fresh fruit, orange juice and everything else that you might need. Also, special mention, they were really helpful we I had trouble with a flat tire on my rental car. We got an immediate recommendation for a garage where we could get this fixed. The guys there were already waiting for me when I arrived and 20 minutes later it was all fixed and I was on the road again. We can surely recommend it!

It is an excellent place/hotel, comfortable (except stairs for a bad knee). We do not go for big hotels, we prefer small, peacful and familiar places which made this hotel with perfect studios just what we prefer. Located in the middle of the town = perfect. You will see us there again!!!

- extremely friendly staff - breakfast quality outstanding - beautiful courtyard around pool

- toilet flush kept getting stuck - couldn't get TV working (in fairness, we didn't ask/report either of these so they could have been rectified for us)

Nice boutique hotel in central location

The atmosphere is friendly and quiet. Despite the central location, it is super quiet. The property itself looks harmonious with a small inner court and several nice rooms around it. There live some friendly cats. We had a room on the base level next to the pool. We enjoyed the little chats with the owner. The location of the hotel is excellent ; it is close to our favorite restaurants. We will come back.
