nothing….
Everything…
Food was not what we expected and we never even got breakfast every morning even though we booked and paid for every morning. felt like I was a prisoner as I could not go in or out how I’d like because they would not give a key to exit the property which I found very weird! there’s only one lady cleaning seeing to the rooms, seeing to the food and everything in the whole accommodation. The room I booked was not the room I got even asking about it afterward. I had to constantly ask for toilet paper too.

great misrepresentation of the actual property and facilities
rooms are too small and very cramped. very noisy with unsafe parking
1.0 / 10.0
noisy employees almost all night had to ask all over again that I need to sleep after long flight aircondition woooming on the wall all night as there is zero isolation (not an wall, not on door) guest coming home checking and leaving in it feels like you are literally sleeping right next to the reception

The Savoy Lodge is a hidden Cape Town hotel gem. It is small, friendly staff, great breakfasts cooked to order, secure and clean.

Jenny and her assistant are great! Attentive to all our needs, it is such a blessing to have people like them helping the guests!
The attention, the flexibility in the rules to accommodate us... The huge delicious breakfast. The spacious and quiet room.

Nice large, clean bedrooms and bathrooms. The location in Rondebosch East is fairly central to get to the various parts of Cape Town by car, and especially handy for business travelers wanting to be near Claremont. WiFi worked excellently. The manageress tries extremely hard to please.
Don't order fried eggs if you like them sunny-side up and runny, also the coffee wasn't great.

Rooms were neat and perfect. Breakfast was delicious. Staff was friendly and went an extra mile to ensure that we enjoyed our stay. Beds arranged as requested. The service was exceptional. Thanks to Jane and her colleague, they were always there when needed.
When we booked the property we saw that the property has an outdoor pool, which we were very excited about, only to get to the property and be told that there’s no water in the pool. We were therefore unable to utilize our swimming costumes that we had brought along to enjoy the perfect weather in the pool. That was the only thing we were not happy about. Why advertise a pool that is not in use.

Nothing really spectacular. Just simple and plain.
A little bit overwhelming. Not enough privacy offered. Maybe we were the only guests situated so close to the Lady that manages the lodge.

The friendly staff and cosiness of the room and compatible TV to play my games on
Loadshedding but that is out of the lodge control
