Golf, whale watching, kayaking
High cost of meals and golf. Having to sit through sales pitch to get 10% discount.

Friendly staff
Didn’t have my room available at checkin. Booked a room with two beds. Only had 1 bed

Loreto is a beautiful place. Clean beaches and the facility is only 12 years old. I like the made to order restaurants. The food is a better quality than other all inclusive resorts. I felt safe , but we never left the resort. I also liked they had tennis and pickelball courts.
I booked a snorkeling trip beforehand. I did not realize it was from a third party. I thought I booked through the hotel. There is a disconnect between the hotel and the excursions. Make you you triple check. Also there is a disconnect with the hotel shuttle. I booked a shuttle back to the airport way in advance. I wanted to make sure they're was a shuttle for my family.
We went to the front desk to get our shuttle back to the airport. Low and behold they didn't have my prepaid reservation. Apparently the hotel didn't email the shuttle service. DOUBLE CHECK EXCURSIONS, ESPECIALLY THE AIRPORT SHUTTLE. I was told all shuttle that morning was booked!!!!! I eventually got my family to the airport but I was not happy, especially because o booked and paid for a shuttle in advance!

everything is awesome
there were too many wasps

location was amazing. staff was amazing. golf course was amazing.
the only complaint I have was the golf course charges separately and uses a fixed 20:1 exchange rate for USD, when the current rate is 17.75 to 1. This means you will pay 12.5% MORE than their advertised rate in dollars. kind of like false advertising to be honest.

Just ok...
The hotel, which is a 40 minute drive from anywhere, focuses primarily on selling timeshares most aggressively and tried to sell us all inclusive meal packages for $260 per day. We spent 1/3 that ordering a la carte and later noted that one of the restaurants had up charges beyond the all inclusive fee. They required reservations thru OpenTable for 2 out of 3 restaurants, which were impossible to get even though those restaurants were half full, apparently forcing everyone to do their hohum buffet which didn't require a reservation. This facility, which is nice enough physically, was very family-oriented, more like being on a dry docked Disney cruise.

extremely friendly and helpful staff. One is pampered from moment you walk in until you leave. The staff attended to your every need. Great to have room service in timely manner 24 hours a day. Staff always available for your needs. Poolside side staff would provide you with whatever you needed. Wish I was a good golfer as the course was beautiful. Cannot say enough positive about this resort. We will certainly return as it is very relaxing.
Expense to travel into to town and limitations of available transportation.
The "expensive" restaurant (all inclusive" so not really expensive) not really any better than those right on resort

this property is simply beautiful. the place hires, trains and manages their staff with a high quality.
the room next to us had laundry machines going until after 10 pm and it was noisy.

The property is a real gem, but what I loved the most was the spectacular trails around it, easy to do and with incredible views, and the chocolate truffles they leave you during turndown service :) the WIFI was super fast, which was helpful. The room was impeccably clean and the bed, OMG I didn't want to leave it in the morning. the Staff was super friendly and kind. Food was great too.
The only thing I found that needs improvement was the acoustic in Casa Mia Restaurant, where the food was delicious by the way, but it was so loud, it was disturbing.

Food variety in restaurants. Golf course was superb. Well sign posted walk with trees named etc. Room was amazing. Staff were super friendly and extremely attentive, especially when we were lounging by the pool. A definite treat yourself experience.
Should have had more adult activities in the evening, cocktail hour for example.
Also needs a bar area to sit down and relax inside where evening drinks can be had in comfort, it's the restaurants or nothing which isn't very relaxing.
Staff need to calm down in removing plates post eating. It often feels.like you are being rushed when they continued to clean plate away as you sit there and may not have finished!

the food and the staff where wonderful
The price we paid for the room was outragous, rooms are out dated and you can hear the upstairs room move around and the worst part was hearing there toilet flush!

great staff very friendly and always helpful and very polite. Very comfortable and affordable with excellent amenities you never have to leave the property if you do not want to because they have everything including multiple on site restaurants with excellent food. Beautiful beaches with stunning mountains and a great hiking path it was as if your inside some sort of national reserve as it has cave paintings and leads to stunning views of the Sea de Cortez.
I have nothing to complain about this property it exceeded my expectations.

Didn’t like we we had to pay for lattes on top of paying $30 USD for breakfast. It became the most expensive meal of our whole trip.

The Propery location and design layout, size of the 1 bedroom suite, quality of restaurants, and efficient, friendly staff made this a 5 star vacation!
There should be a shuttle from the airport to the resort. We rented a car and it was very expensive.

beautiful location , extra large rooms, landscaping was fantastic. huge tub in room with jacuzzi jets.
all inclusive was not so all inclusive… had to sign for every meal or drink and tip … they cared more about your room number than giving good service. Sound proof room is a joke .. store and spa ridiculously overpriced. ( but a good massage) Pool needs a refreshing , missing lots of tiles and a little dirty. Absolutely no booze in the drinks and served wine with lots of ice ?? food was marginal at best. entertainment was yes entertaining but not in the sense they hoped. Got some good laughs from it. Overall it was 3 star service at 6 star prices.

the staff were very professional and the views from the property were breathtaking.
the room was very badly fitted, with poor quality fixtures and fittings.
there was no Wi-Fi in the room and there was a fee to pay to get it connected ( in todays world this is totally unacceptable )
the resort felt like an opportunity to charge exorbitant prices at every opportunity - the room rate was more than $400 a night excluding breakfast which was exorbitant, then they wanted to charge $35 per person for a basic buffet breakfast. on top of that, internet access in the room was extra, and when we enquired about a taxi to take us to the airport, they quoted $60 one way, when we paid $30 the evening before from town.
