There was not one thing wrong with this home, you can tell the owners put a lot of care and effort in maintaining this "castle in the sky" every night we had beautiful views of sunset and in the morning we could see the cruise ships pull in which was amazing. The home was stocked with everything we needed to last us our almost two month stay, they even provided some boogie boards and snorkelling gear to definingly enjoy the waters of Kona, which I recommend. You would be kicking yourself if you didn't book this place as it is one of the nicest home shares I have ever been in. The host was very communicative for any needs I needed. Would Stay here again. Beautiful, quiet, plenty of room for 4 adults. Nice view of the water and above the hub bub of town, but close enough to get there on no time. Friendly hosts that were a text away.

Awesome property!
We loved our stay here. Close to downtown, but far enough away to enjoy the serenity and ocean views.. House is as shown: clean, completely remodeled and with all the amenities (including a washer and dryer, air conditioning and utensils to cook should you desire). Absolutely great!

Perfect Retreat
My family and I are originally from the island of Hawaii and we were so grateful to have found a home through Evolve Vacation Rental Network that met all of our needs. This home is truly a home away from home and is situated in a perfect location.
My family and I now reside on the island of Oahu we book all of our outer island visit with Evolve Vacation Rental Network.

Peaceful Retreat in Paradise
The property is beautiful, comfortable, and has everything you need for your vacation. The fruit trees and labeled plant life is a wonderful touch, as is the book collection. I especially loved falling asleep to the sounds of frogs and waking up to birdsong. You just don’t get that at the resorts!

A nice house but really not much of a view
The place is nicely finished but the furniture is kind of old and uncomfortable. The kitchen is very well stocked with cooking utensils and very very large freezer and refrigerator. There really is no view from the patio. The only view is if you stand up and look over the hedge. The house is in a subdivision on a steep hill so be prepared if you like to walk that it will be on a street and steep.
The garage is not for parking but there is room for one car on the outside pad. Extra cars will be parked on the street.
This rental is overpriced when compared to properties closer to the beach and with a view.

Christmas trip to Hawaii
We rented this house for a week over Christmas 2016. There were five of us, my wife and I, our two sons and daughter-in-law. The house was great! Plenty of room -- each of the rooms was big enough for some privacy. The house overall was organized very well. Nice open kitchen, dining area which really seated six (or possibly more) people, and enough chairs and couch in the living room for all of us to sit down.
There was air conditioning to cool it down when you get home, but other than cooling it down, there was usually a breeze and we didn't need the air conditioning. There was usually a soft breeze overnight, and we slept with the windows open every night and were perfectly comfortable. The neighborhood was residential (and upscale) and very quiet. In the morning when we woke up, we could hear very soft birdsong. A truly tranquil setting.
The location was excellent -- close to everything, but not in the middle of the hustle and bustle. Just a few minutes from a grocery store and pretty much everything else we needed. We toured north, south, and east, and this was a great place to start from.
The kitchen is advertised as a "gourmet" kitchen, and while a lot of people say that, in this case, it really is a gourmet kitchen. The stove had two ovens, there is a great central island to do the preparation with stools on one side so people can participate or just hang out as desired. Rice cooker, blender, bagel toaster, absolutely huge refrigerator and freezer. Plenty of silverware and dishes and glasses. They actually have kitchen knives that were sharp enough to let us carve a turkey. We saved a bunch of money cooking for ourselves, and it was a pleasure to do it.
The bathrooms were new and upscale, beautifully done.
There was plenty of space to sit outdoors, either in the sun on the south side of the house, or in the shade on the west. The sunsets to the west were truly impressive, and the view was great.
The owner was very helpful and responsive throughout the process of renting the house.
We would rent this house again in an instant! I just hope the next VRBO house we rent somewhere else is half as nice as this one is. The pictures for the listing for this house (as I write this review at least) do not do it justice. They are fine (and bring back fond memories), but it is nicer, brighter, and much more cheerful than the pictures convey. This is a lovely house, and our whole group was more than delighted with it.
