Amazing location for walking and cycling on the Monsal Trail

Location good, room comfortable
Our room was the odd one in that the enormous room with toilet, bath and shower was across the corridor. Little bit inconvenient,

Fantastic location for walking. Great eating /drinking facilities and staff were excellent.
Absolutely no issues - everything was brilliant

Quality furniture, well decorated, complementary toiletries and refreshments. Excellent breakfast and wonderful cafe next door.
Window blinds not adequate to keep out light or headlights of passing traffic making sleep very difficult, towels and room smelt strange, curt response to complaint and suggestion to wear an eye mask. Not acceptable at this price.
4.4
The location, the breakfast, the room was clean
The lack of proper double glazing as was on a busy roundabout

Everything about the property was amazing, the owner has literally catered for everything.. from the twining tea bags to the biscuits to the lovely breakfast just the little things that make your stay so much better. The room itself was exceptionally clean aswell as being lovely and warm I literally can not fault how good it was.

Great location in the Peak District. Cosy and comfortable rooms and great value for money compared to other places for similar room!
The electrical box/alarm kept beeping in the night as it was faulty but easily fixed after I contacted the manager.

The location is perfect for the Monsal Trail and the room itself was really lovely. The furniture and decor was superb and the room smelled fantastic. The bed was very comfy too.
There was nothing I didn’t like however there was an issue with an alarm during my stay which woke me up at 4am and went off for more than an hour. I know the accommodation did then raise this issue with an engineer so I’m sure it won’t cause any problems going forward.

Comfortable rooms, very clean and excellent breakfast!

Instructions to access the property were clear and easy to follow. The property was located close to the Monsal Trail and had a cafe nearby for breakfast - free choice of what to have on the menu and it was delicious, staff were also very friendly. The room was comfortable and good size. The accommodation was warm and looked just like the photos.
Unfortunately, at the time we went, the local restaurants and pubs seemed to be close as it was between Christmas and New Year so it was difficult to get dinner.

We had the 'suite' 3 sisters & a daughter - it worked very well, sofa bed was exceptionally comfy. A very small 'problem' was corrected immediately. Cannot fault the location, breakfast and staff. We stayed the night before and day of the Queens funeral and were expecting low staffing levels but everything ran smoothly - thank you
Nothing to dislike - maybe remembering 2 door entry codes but that extra security also gave peace of mind!

The room was clean, the shower was exceptional. The breakfast was really good. The location for the Monsal trail is great. Checking out by 11am rather than earlier was appreciated.
The fridge in the room was noisy and did wake us up. The heating appeared to be fixed and we were cold. Nothing is available after 5pm unless you drive into Bakewell which to be fair is only a short drive away but not having anything available to eat or drink on site after 5pm is a drawback. Parking was only available through the gate which was a bit of a pain. Breakfast isn't available until 9am which is rather unusual.

Fabulous location with a great rooms containing everything we could have needed, a very comfortable and spacious bed, fabulous breakfast and service and it’s right on the Monsal Trail.
Nothing, we had a lovely short stay.
