Fabulous stay, location is great for main line train. Supermarkets and shops close by..

Host was very quick at responding to messages. The cottage was perfect location and beautifully presented

A lovely cottage, very central. This is clearly a property that the owner takes a lot of pride in, the decor is beautiful and quirky, and purposefully put together. The kitchen is excellently equipped, everything you may think of is there.
And a great, unexpected touch with a bottle of complimentary cava that went down a treat!

Very convenient location right in the middle of town. Lots of restaurants and bars near by. Waitrose 5 mins walk. Lots of close by attractions.
Being so central is a compromise. There was plenty of evening noise from takeaway delivery drivers and it appeared that the car park behind the shopping centre was a meeting place for racing cars. However, we were lucky that this didn't go on past midnight.

Location was brilliant. Clean and quirky. Enjoyed it so much we booked it again whilst we were there.
Nothing we didn’t like.

The cottage is beautiful and honestly the located could not be any better. I stayed with my two children and it was like a home from home for them and they really liked the trip. Everything you need is on the door step; shops, restaurants, bars, train station.
The decor is lovely, particularly the bedrooms and bathroom which are stunning. Nice touch of a bottle of wine being left for me too 😊
Really invaluable having the parking spot right outside the house as the area would be tricky for parking. It is a tight spot but a very narrow street so get practicing your parallel parking.
Only thing that surprised me was no microwave but it wasn’t a massive deal, I just realised when I wanted to warm something up.

This was our second stay. The property is comfortable, clean and perfectly situated for the town and roads. Great having a dedicated parking place too.

Absolutely everything about this wonderful cottage. Spotlessly clean, warm, comfortable and the location was second to none. Literally a few steps to everything.
There was nothing to dislike

This house is amazing! It was a wow moment on every door we opened. The decor was fun, quirky, tasteful and everywhere you look is something different to see. It's a comfy house with modern facilities and has everything you need with plenty of information and communication. It is right by Buxton town centre so in walking distance to all the local amenities. I loved it!
Everything was great. However anyone who has difficulty with stairs should be aware that it's an old house and the stairs are fairly steep. Bedrooms are on two floors. The first floor has an amazing master bedroom and an even more amazing bathroom, and the stairs aren't too bad. But stairs to the second floor are very very steep, I had to use the bannister to pull myself up them! My travelling companion was unable to get up these stairs so was lucky enough to have the master bedroom on the first floor. But trust me, if you can do the stairs - it's worth it!

Beautifully clean. Beautiful decor very quirky. Lovely crockery Glass wear. Important when you have nice things at home. Everything catered for in the kitchen Nice placemats. Cafeteria. Egg cups just so much thought. All basic foods included. TCSugar. Little extras in cupboards. 🫒 oil.
Lounge very comfortable. Nice big dining table. Hive heating thermostat. Log burner. Sonos.
Bathroom absolutely beautiful and very large. Roll top bath. 🛀. Big double walk in shower. Bedrooms lovely furnishings. Just perfect.
Have to say. We stay in a lot of ABB’s. High standards usually. But this little gem is just gorgeous
You could not get any closer to every amenity. Bonus parking in front of the property Train and buses 5 mins max walk. Opera house 3 mins walk. 🚶♀️
Just got to say the stairs are very steep so enquire if you have mobility problems. Sally is genuinely really helpful answered all my questions and very responsive when you call her.
A massive thank you Sally we had a lovely stay ✅💗
Just the stairs are very steep. Only an issue if you have a mobility problem. Otherwise fine.

Fantastic place to stay ,loved the decor

The rooms were very comfortable and spacious. The decor is a bit ‘out there’ but that added to its charm. It’s situated ideally to the town centre and major roads. Perfect.
There was very little we didn’t like. It was a superb location/layout but there was the odd cobweb and dust bunny. This certainly didn’t spoil anything and we had the best holiday!

Quadrant cottage is a lovely place, situated bang in the centre of buxton. The cottage has everything you need and more. There is a private parking space, so no worries if you want to travel further a field. The owner was lovely, and left us a bottle of prosecco and milk in the fridge.

Perfect location. Lovely, quirky cottage with every mod con.
Nothing.

The price was very reasonable. It is located very near Buxton Crescent, where I was meeting a friend. Kitchen is nicely outfitted (glassware, dishes, cookware, etc). Also liked the large bathroom with clawfoot tub and separate walk-in shower.
It has two quite steep staircases, so left my luggage on the ground floor. The atmosphere on the ground floor is dark; there is little natural light and the ceiling fixtures are dim.

inspiring beautiful quirky cottage right in the centre, with everything in it you would need.
we would like a sound-system/blue tooth that is easier to use as we are music lovers, however this is superficial, everything else is prefect

Location, decor, comfort - especially beds, shower, equipment —— all excellent.
A little dark in lounge but only because of the style of house and position.

Quadrant Cottage is located in a great location when it comes to visiting the Peak District, but also for simple shopping or going out to a restaurant.
We were charmed by the interior. We also felt like moving from home to home.
Thank you for the welcome gift (it was delicious).
Sally was great with communication, she helped us when we needed, for which we are grateful, thank you so much. We are happy to recommend 100%
There is nothing that we didn't like on the Cottage .

Everything. This cottage is an eclectic dream. I loved every corner of it. The bathroom is stunning, beds were so comfy, staff were so helpful with every question we had
Locks for the parking got a bit stuck, but staff were receptive of the feedback. Watch those tops stairs after a few pints at the local pubs though

in the centre of Buxton, easy walking distance to everything. eclectic style, everything you could need. small but perfect.
it was small for the 6 of us, but it was so well priced and slept us all, so was brilliant!

The location was perfect. Very comfy beds & clean linen.
We weren't given the correct instructions for parking the car. The furnishings were uncomfortable & tired. The TV was set up on the wall too high & sound quality was very poor. No correct instructions to use the induction hob, insufficient right sized pans for each of the hob plates. The Smeg fridge had virtually no shelving or door compartments. The small freezer box hadn't been defrosted for a long time. No working matches or lighter for the log burner, or sufficient utensils to clean out the fire. We have to say that past experiences in other self catering cottages were of a much higher standard.

Loved the quirky house. I absolutely love Alice in Wonderland so this house with perfect.
Bathroom was amazing. Fantastic bath
Really impressed with how clean it was. Felt at home.
It got very cold especially on the top floor. My daughter had to sleep in living room as was freezing up there.
Stairs very steep
