Great location with walkable access to restaurants and convention center. Comfortable apartment with good kitchen amenities. Recommended for a pleasant stay.
10.0 / 10.0
We had meetings at the convention center. It was a great place to stay that was walkable with plenty of restaurants close by. It was so nice to spread out in an apartment and not be in a hotel room for 5 days. I highly recommend!

Very nice, clean unit. Within walking distance of lots of places to dine or grab a drink

Nice place to stay within 10 min walk to the Greater Richmond Convention Center. Some good restaurants in walking distance nearby but you have to ask where to go. Broad Street has a free bus line that will take you fairly close to museums. Uberdrivers were prompt and friendly. Property manager was great with communication and directions. Comfortable bed and good kitchen, which saved us money on breakfast each day. Convenience store Davis Market is a couple blocks away, but go during daylight hours to feel safest. They had all the normal breakfast makings we needed, plus beer and wine. A little noisy in evening because it’s on a busy street, but fairly quiet after midnight. All in all we’d recommend it and would stay again.

This place was in a perfect location; just a few minutes walk to VCU and in a vibrant and artistic neighborhood with plenty of restaurants nearby. I place itself was clean and comfortable. I would stay here again.

The suite was a prefect base for the conference I was attending just down Broad Street. I enjoyed the coffee shops and the restaurants in the area. It was really great to check out all the murals too!

The property was very nice. The laundry set was a nice touch. 2 things seem to need attention. In the hallway, there was a lingering odor cigarette smoke. The stopper in the sink (face bowl) did not work. It seemed as though the sink was installed too close to the wall. The parking availability and cost were definite detractors. We did enjoy our stay, would revisit and would recommend to friends.

Communication was great and getting set up into the condo was great although upon entering the building, there were strong smoke smells. In the room, there was no smoke smell but there was some kind of odor (it wasn’t necessarily bad just very different). This wasn’t bad and we got used to it pretty quickly. My wife was several months pregnant so she was much more sensitive to smells which is why it mattered so much.
The room was great and bed was very comfortable. Everything was cleaned very well (except under the bed which had a lot of dust. We dropped a pen and it rolled under which is why we saw it).
The kitchen was nice and we used the laundry Machine for several loads. It was a great place to stay. The biggest difficulty at this location is the noise from the main road. Sirens from the PD next door went off several times every night and the noise from people and vehicles was loud till close to 1:00am each night.
I know I mentioned several not great things but this place really was nice to stay at and was full of very friendly people.

Lots of small restaurants nearby, walkable, near the campus. Owners set things up to be independent once you get a fob combination. Easy highway access.

This is a perfect one bedroom apartment that is close to VCU. So convenient to everything. I was able to find parking on the street close by every day and evening with no problem at all. The apartment itself is in a cool renovated building and was perfect for what I needed. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen had everything I needed. They even left 2 bottles of water and some cheese-it snacks.
The only downside was the weekend noise of cars racing up and down blaring music at 3 AM (more than your typical city noise), but this was only on Saturday night.
I will definitely stay here again!

This was our third trip back to Mark's place. This time it was for 3 weeks. Staff so friendly and helpful. Tommy is the best!.. would recommend this location. Convenient to everything. Thank you Mark!

The man in the music store was great to help us get in and show us everything we needed. The condo is small but looks like the pictures. This is definitely a no frills place to stay. The furniture is old with a very worn sofa. Two thin towel sets for a 3 night stay. Two bottles of water. No extra anything. The floors obviously don't get cleaned regularly ,we discovered pretty quickly that we had to wear shoes in the condo to keep the bottoms of our feet from being black. The worst part of our stay was the noise. The bedroom faces the street. The noise from the street goes on all night. It seems to be a thing to race your loud car or motorcycle up & down Broad St in the middle of the night. We got very little sleep during our 3 night stay. The building itself smells like one big ashtray. And the neighborhood is pretty seedy after dark. The location worked well for what we were doing, but we would never want to stay there again.

Property was up tp date and clean and very well maintained. Great value.
Owner could take more care in instructing renters where to park in the lot behind the building.

Wonderful stay! Clean, nice apartment. Very quiet building with a lot of walkable places to check out. Coffee shop across the street with great food and a roof top bar next door. Would definitely stay again.
😊
The only downside was that the parking lot costs 20$ a day to park, and it’s very hard to find any free parking.

I love the modern and old design in the building. The light coming in the center makes it feel really great. The bedding could use an upgrade. Other than that no complaints.

This place is above Metro Sound on W Broad St. Mark and his staff have impeccable communication from start to finish. Oh, and Mark's shop is pretty cool too. The apartment buildings at first seem like a bit of a maze but one quick walk through we were able to figure it out. The location is primo. Close walking to bars, restaurants and small businesses! We will definitely be coming to Richmond again real soon and staying here.
