Heel handig op doorreis naar Nederland of Frankrijk

Prachtige kerstversiering Vriendelijkheid van het personeel

Bij het boeken werd vermeld dat honden welkom zijn ( dat was ook een reden om voor van der Valk te kiezen ) Dat kan ik me nu wel indenken Ze harken €20 euro voor mijn hondje binnen per nacht en leveren daar niet eens een mandje voor 😂 Het is om dit bedrag dat ik volgende keer door rijd naar Lille Campanile hotel

Perfect overnight stay

Excellent breakfast, especially the freshly baked bread! Loved the terrace where we had drinks and v nice meal.

very bad infrastructure inside the rooms and very bad smell all over the hotel but good staff

staff and their good explanation on poor infrastructure and problems

very bad smell all over the hotel poorly design inside the rooms cant sleep whole night due to bad bugs in the bed very poor quality of matras you cant just move keep yourself straight whole night only half of the light works in room cleaning very poor we booked it just thinking about van der valk brand but get very disappointed will never book van der valk again

I had to change 2 x to get a room without a sewer smell. This hotel really needs a makeover.

The breakfast is sufficient. People are polite as any other VD Valk hotel but that really is it.

The sewer smell in the hallway and the rooms. This hotel is old and needs a major make over if they want to stay a VD Valk hotel. I will not stay there anymore. I will pay a little more and further away for a newer hotel.

Superb

Very nice hotel, doggie friendly, fantastic restaurant and breakfast - ideal for transit with a family. Quiet,if you consider it is in front of the motorway.

Light in the bathroom did not work and the door to the bathroom were tricky (heavy sliding door). There is no fridge in the room and old style radiator, rather than automatic temperature set up.

Location of the hotel. Quiet too, even though it's near a busy motorway. Very comfortable.

Very friendly and helpful staff, in any department. Especially Rosita at the Reception office as I had an infected intestinal on arrival and helped me excellent. Food is great. Rest of staff nice people. Will come again

The worst Valk by a distance

That’s an easy one ….Nothing

Beware , it’s sited in a truck stop . Between the extremely loud music and the bedbugs I got no sleep which kind of defeats the actual purpose of a hotel by a motorway. The safe didn’t work , the extraction didn’t work and the toilet flush fell in the toilet .

Great Motorway Hotel

The room was great, large shower cubical and a deep bath, large comfortable bed and balcony.

The complimentary drink making was limited to coffee, no tea and the cups are too small to make tea in. The air-conditioning was a bit noisy.

surprisingly wonderful dog friendly find on a motorway

this is a motorway hotel but it is fantastic - large, clean, very very pet friendly. the lower ground floor rooms have French patio door to take dog out and parking opposite those rooms. big buffet breakfast, lovely on site restaurant

. one complaint was nothing ( at all) on dinner menu for Vegans and waiter was not helpful so My partner ate but I could not. and almost nothing at breakfast.. apart from beans.

the room was next to airco system, the hotel moved us lucky. he rooms are old.

The eclectic chargers didn’t work the tesla charger didn’t pass up the charger .. the bathroom door was old and would shut correctly old hotel not the same standards as i n Holland.

The hotel was fine, clean, staff was very friendly. However there were issues with hot water.

The staff was friendly and the room was clean.

There were problems with hot water. We had to turn it on, wait for 15 minutes and only then slightly warm water would be supplied. I paid 170 euro per night and think this is unacceptable for this price range. I informed the staff about it, they were friendly, but havent offered any solutions or discounts.

It was the worst hotel we ever stayed.

Nothing

1) Shower did not work completely. We needed to wash in a bathtub and you can imagine how uncomfortable it was. We checked in late in the evening so it was not possible to ask someone to repair it. 2) There was no air conditioning available in the room at all. .So we opened the window to get some fresh air, as it was really hot, but then a strong stinky smell like from a toilet came into the room. We had to close the windows as well. As a result we almost could not sleep. 3) Normally 4 star hotels always provide anti-mosquito plugs. However there was nothing like that in the room and the amount of mosquitos was terrible. 4) The room in general was very dirty and old which did not give a feeling of a proper Van der Valk chain as we are used to.
