We spent 3 beautifull days. The place is comfortably located in a quite area not far from the city, great swimming pool

Exceptional

Clean room. Clean bathroom. Satisfying water pressure in the shower! Comfortable environment for couples and for families with children.

The area is quite isolated so it's wise to have a car.

Heavenly, a beautiful quiet oasis of relaxation

The pool is just perfect - very clean and a great size for swimming, with a gorgeous view of the sea and plenty of good quality comfortable loungers with umbrellas around it. The whole property is beautifully kept, with lovely gardens and more loungers and umbrellas on the lawn for relaxing in the shade. We got an apartment and it was great, spotlessly clean and very comfortable with plenty of space. The location is fabulous, it is a bit remote but I liked that - it is quiet at night except for the sound of the waves, and you feel as if you are at the edge of the island with the sea around you. The breakfast is home-made every morning using local ingredients and absolutely delicious, with lots of variety - she makes fabulous little savoury pancakes, and traditional cheese + spinach pies (in addition to eggs, bacon and cereals), the home-made jams were wonderful, and you may have some friendly company from a cat or two. We felt very welcome, it is a smaller family run establishment and the owner is a very gracious host. I would suggest that the location is best suited to travellers with a car. It is possible to walk to Grammeno beach and the surrounding restaurants (Houmas in particular is excellent), but the walk is along the road without a footpath, so it is much more pleasant to drive (especially coming back from dinner at night), plus having a car allows you to explore more of the surrounding area.

The wifi is a bit slow & spotty, but this honestly wasn't much of an issue. If you want a 'resort-style' experience (e.g. organised activities, room service, nightlife etc) then I think this is probably not what you're looking for, it is a quiet and laid back environment. Perfect for us, but not what everyone is after.

Our stay was great thanks to Helen the owner who was really nice and helpful. The swimming pool with sea view is Amazing. Our room had been refurbished with a nice terrace on the garden. Breakfast was great! Everything was perfect!

I would love to come back here.

We really enjoyed our stay. Large, clean and comfortable apartment. A beautiful and well-kept garden with toys for children. Very nice and helpful staff (greetings :)). Fantastic, good breakfasts with local products - fig jam - a hit!

I am thorn in between giving this place the stars it deserves or keeping it to myself so I will always find a place here. Fantastic location, tranquil garden with olive trees, peaceful cats and a funny dog. So very clean too. Close to my favourite beach Krios. Too bad I could only find a place on my last night. Efharisto Helen and ta leme!

Well worth it to stay here instead of the town

Beautiful, large, relaxing & comfortable garden and pool area. Very friendly & welcoming staff with delicious breakfast with large variety of homemade foods by the ladies. Rooms were cleaned every day and comfortable. Much more quiet & peaceful than Palaiochera .. but it was still such a short drive away! We didn’t use it- but pool was was amazing! We enjoyed evening cocktails made with fresh juice in the evening by it.. highly recommend! Good for families, but also couples.

Any beach/water access was a drive away.. not walkable. But we drove 5 minutes and had our own private beach for a picnic dinner- so definitely not a deal breaker!!! And the hammocks were broken and difficult to enjoy.

A lush, quiet haven at the island's outer edge

A perfect haven for our weeklong stay. We searched quietness and beauty, and found it there. The property lies with olives groves, a lust garden and spacious pool with view over the close sea. A comfortable room provided also fridge and kettle, an open pool bar / breakfast area is home to sweet cats and a dog, and homemade food is served for (wonderful!) breakfast and as snacks. The property does not have too many rooms, so there is never the risk of it being overcrowded, and there was overall a lovely familiar feel to it between all guests and the wonderful lady owners. Helena, the manager, is always available and most helpful for any question or need. The location is towards the end of the seaside road of the Southwest part of the island, which means that it is very quiet there, and that a car is needed to discover the surrounding area with its beautiful tavernas, beaches and mountains. We very much hope to come back again to Crete, and to stay at Viena again!

This place is just perfect for a quiet and relaxed vacation. The staff is wonderful, Helena and Christina are super generous and gracious. We had a really great time and we can't wait to come back!!

The perfect stay with the perfect Host!

The resort is beautifully kept. Our apartment was super clean and very spacious, with a big terrace. The homemade breakfast was delicious and generous. All the staff makes you feel at home. The manager Eleni pampered us every single day and made us feel like home. We do recommend this amazing place to every traveller :)

We really enjoyed Viena - nice surroundings, fantastic big pool and very friendly and helpful staff.

Breakfast was fantastic - local and classic options and more than enough. The staff were really friendly and helpful and it was very family friendly.

The rooms were small but adequate and clean.

Superb

Lovely Garden with lots of flowers. Big clean pool, a Hammock to chill out. Nice breakfast area. Very good breakfast with a huge variety of homemade products. Jam marmalade, bread and pies are all homemade. Very tidy surroundings and nice Greek style rooms. Great recommendations for restaurants from the owner. Perfect spot to relax if you are looking for some peace and quiet. Only a 10 Minute Drive into town. 3 Minutes to the next lovely. Beach. very good for snorkeling. The owner even supplies free umbrellas for the beach.

Only a small detail but at breakfast the butter and cheese could be put on ice that would make the breakfast perfect. Fresh towels a little more often would be nice.

Perfect stay

Excellent

The place is really nice with a wonderful view. Breakfast was exceptional and was served at any time therefore we could sleep late as we like during the holidays. Furthermore, the food served was homemade and cooked the same day (cookies were still warm when we ate them) We decided to stay on less night and the owner did not wanted to charge us for the night we cancelled. We had a super wonderful time with them
