Paradise found!

Wow! What can we say? Our stay at Oxygen was an absolute dream! This place is seriously special. If you are thinking of booking then do it! The view is unreal, the pool is beautiful, the food is amazing and the staff are just the best and go above and beyond. Special mention for Omar who looked after us so much and made the BEST cocktails. He made our stay extra extra special! Thank you to Emmanuel and the desk staff too for advice and helping us sort a much needed plug adapter! Honestly cannot fault this place, the perfect few days for the first part of our honeymoon!

Beautiful views, amazing food, spectacular service.

The rooms and view are so beautiful photos can't do it justice. There are two waterfalls very close that are super private. The staff is beyond professional, kind and excited to make every detail perfect. This is a five star resort. It is AMAZING!

Oxygen was an paradise jungle vacation that exceeded our expectations!

Morning juices at breakfast was delicious and brightened every morning. The staff were all very friendly and approachable and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay.

We Wish there was a small gym or yoga classes.

Beautiful hotel - if you don’t want make the journey into town!

This hotel is set in beautiful grounds, we loved our glass room in the jungle and enjoyed days by the pool drinking cocktails with beautiful views over the sea. The room was kept to a high standard by the cleaners who did a fab job. staff were all lovely and kept us topped up with drinks or free water whilst sunbathing.

We knew the road to the property required a 4x4 however even with this vehicle, it was an awful drive into town/back to the hotel which we began to dread. The breakfast and food in the hotel were average - not always worth staying in for and didn’t compare to other hotels in Costa Rica. There was also a faint smell of sewage/drains throughout the property.

Amazing and relaxing retreat, up up in the jungle / clouds

The views - amazing, the staff, wonderful, the service - splendid. The staff are very attentive, offering a welcom drink (which is AMAZING), They remember your name during the whole stay and fo their best to accommodate. One of the receptions even came to find us to show us a sloth and it's baby in the tree because I was excited about it. The roo.s were beautiful and clean, the views again... breathtaking. Such a relaxing experience. Coffee was great and food was good!

Overall the place is nice . Spectacular view . 4x4 Recommended . The road is rough

Wonderful staff . We were above the kitchen very noisy . Our room was above the bar . The view is amazing ! There was only 1 filter given for coffee no sugar or cream . The refrigerator was not working when we arrived . It was fixed the next day . The dinner at the restaurant was sub-par and over priced .

Phenomenal experience, would definitely recommend and stay again

Loved this villa and spa, the location was excellent with options for both sea and jungle views. The unique construction of the villas gave a real sense of living in the environment whilst being protected from the elements. The spa was also great with open views of the jungle while receiving our treatments. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and would accommodate any request. We loved it so much we extended for a further night (due to late cancellations from other guests). Our thanks to Henry and Leydy as well as the other staff for making our stay so great.

Our only criticisms really were that the rooms didn't have much storage so we were half living out of our suitcase and secondly that the construction of the villas meant that the humidity and moisture from the jungle and rain left the towels damp and as a result they never fully dried. I'm sure that towels could be replaced after each use but in the interest of being eco friendly some form of dehumidifier would be a great addition within the rooms, maybe there is an air conditioner that could provide this as well as temperature control?

Filthy rooms. never going back

The view from the pool and bar is very nice. Very quiet rooms.

I didnt like this place at all.. The room is filthy , so much dirt, nobody cleans the windows, and even cockroaches in the room ! The bathroom is made of glass walls, that they dont clean so you can see all the drips , very disgusting. Also the toilette enclosure is so small, you cannot sit at the toilette and close the door. The bed has a fabric above, and you can tell nobody cleans it because its full of dust. The other room is nearby, since the rooms are made of glass walls, you can actually see your neighbors in their room, so no privacy unless you close the curtains. The location is far from town, the road is in very bad shape (need 4x4), and there is nothing nearby. The restaurant and room service closes at 8pm so you are forced to take an early dinner (or go to town which im not going to discuss again) The breakfast (included in our rate) was flavorless.

I liked my room and the whole ambient, the breakfast was very delicious..

I just did not like that beside paying so expensive accomodation we also need to pay a taxi from the road to the villa, it possible to be reach just with a jeep not a normal car. This in my opinion has to be facility for all guests for free not extra costs as we already pay high prices for the stay and if all inclusive has to be really all inclusive
