Amazing location in the rainforest and incredible view of the Whale’s Tail in the ocean. Toucans visited our tree every afternoon. Wonderful staff! Delicious food! beautifully appointed rooms. great workout to get to the restaurant and car park.
the need for a 4x4 vehicle was not emphasized nearly enough. our car gave out and we had to get shuttles up and down the mountain every time. tough workout to get to the restaurant and car park.

everything was perfect. first of all the staff: friendly, professional, attentive and unobtrusive. you can relax completely undisturbed in your own villa or stay in the lounge area. very clean, spacious and luxurious villa with private mini-pool. large terrace with big window front and view of the ocean (sunset!) and the forest - also from the comfortable, big bed. i even saw a toucan in the tree of my terrace. soft towels, beautiful bathroom, high quality care products, etc. can i please stay here forever?
it’s not a bargain, but it’s worth every cent. i’d definitely come back. the only thing i didn’t like was that i had to leave. note that the road is quite steep, a four-wheel drive vehicle is an advantage.

privacy…attention to every detail as far as comfort…villa design…. staff training.

The property is absolutely breathtaking. Truly feels “one with nature”. The food was absolutely amazing. Everyone was incredibly kind and helpful.
The road absolutely does require 4WD to get to the property. You’ll also want comfortable shoes for your walk to the main area (bar/restaurant/pool lounge/etc.) Even this isn’t a “dislike”; just things to absolutely know before your stay.

Staff was amazing! The food was the best I’ve ever had while on vacation. Very accommodating but also great variety. The staff members were personable and extremely helpful with anything we needed for our stay. Chefs Kiss to the Chef! Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner were all amazing and had a lot of variety. The views and trees from the mountains tops were unmatched! We were literally in the clouds. Our activities were all set up and planned and the staff knew of our daily agenda. It was overall a Great stay with great staff and food.
I wouldn’t consider it something i didn’t like but there was no TV in our villas. But it gave us more time to connect with nature.

Incredible place with a lot of potential and amazing views. The room with its bed in the middle and the private jacuzzi is a concept in itself
Staff was always nice but for some of them incompetent. The lady at the desk didn't know what was on the dinner menu. Told us a price that ended up to be wrong.
Didnt know how to have us pay by card (we ended up paying cash after losing 20 minutes over that...)
When we showed up for breakfast nobody was behind the desk for 10 minutes and after that they were laughing while half laying on it.
Keeping our bags while we were at the beach was ok on day 1 but a problem on day 2....
All of this makes no sense for a hotel willing to play in that category ....
Also Juan was very quick and efficient solving a jacuzzi problem on day 1, so i guess things come and go
In the room, wooden surfaces were worn and sticky. AC was out of age.... guess investments need to be made some day not far

Beautiful private setting. Best staff I’ve experienced this whole trip. Would recommend to anyone wanting a romantic getaway.
Somewhat hard to access.

The staff, the location, the views, the story behind everything… absolutely divine.
You can’t go wrong with this accommodation if you’re a nature lover. We spotted so many tropical birds and animals, we did so many activities (from the wideee range available), we ate such healthy food and relaxed at a whole another level.
10 out of 10, thanks to everybody from the amazing team! Just go there and you won’t regret it!
Nothing at all.

Best “room” I’ve ever rented. Breath taking views, private hot tub with view, large bathtub and beautiful open shower area with view. Bed is centered in the middle of the room and you wake up to a panoramic ocean view. Staff is attentive, will go above and beyond to assist in making your stay the best it can be.
That I didn’t book more time here. Keep in mind there’s five villas. If you’re thinking about booking do not wait.

Fruit trees, native foliage and lots of exercise walking. Local frogs, monkeys and birds to see and hear

Food was delicious (we had breakfast, lunch and dinner)
The location was beautiful and had multiple waterfalls nearby.
The Pool is one of the nicest we have ever seen.
It is a small hotel with only 5 rooms so most of the time, you won't even see other guests
The road to get to the hotel is a little rough, but with a 4x4 vehicle it was safe and adventurous
Getting from the rooms to the pool/bar area was kind of a hike

Helpful staff, gracious and attentive. Beautiful grounds. Peaceful and private. Quiet.
Need 4 wheel drive to get there but they will come down the mountain and get you.

We celebrated our 10 year anniversary here and from the very first day all we could talk about was how kind everyone is! This place is heaven and we can’t wait to come back!!!
Private hot tub, view of whales tail, trails, staff, food, everything!

This place is heaven on earth! If you are looking for a getaway far off the beaten path, with lots of beautiful views, delicious food and sweet staff members, THIS IS IT! My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon, I wish we never had to leave. This small facility was beyond my expectations. So happy we booked here. We will be back! Feel free to DM my wife on Instagram for any additional info @mrs.ashley.farquhar
