We would definitely recommend this site!

The property is lovely, the grounds are beautifully landscaped and maintained. The room we stayed in was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast idea of refilling your fridge each morning rather than dining in a dining room fit our needs just fine as it allowed flexibility as to timing of meals and also left some food for later in the day after returning from exploring the area.

Awesome Clean & relaxing.

The Breakfast was great. Just enough to start your day. The best part was the breakfast was already in the room. There was no need to leave the room & get breakfast. Some places we stayed you had to wait in line. But all in all John & patti do a great job. We will book another stay very soon. Like my wife said NOT SOON ENOUGH. Thats explains our time @ Shaker Mill. Joe Shrewsbury

Lovely, cozy inn, great hospitality, wonderful owner!

The room was so cute and cozy -- and it had a fireplace! Loved all the snacks they provided, too!

A wonderful find off the beaten track.

The location is off the beaten track so it is more private. The inn is well kept and very inviting.

The best B/B we've ever experienced

Unbelievable clean, beautiful, and outstanding place. I am very particular re cleanliness in hotel rooms so I was amazed by this outstanding suite we got. Absolutely 💯 lovely greenery around. Big windows. Kitchenette equipped with numerous products one wouldn't expect at all in a B/B. In the hallway there is a big dvd library, box games and books. We ride 🏍 it was raining all day and night, the morning we left, there were 4 towels on the bike 🏍 just for drying it before we leave!

The queen bed. We are used for a king bed... at home. But, that's all.

A wonderful stay for our getaway weekend.

The Inn was charming, the owners were friendly and very helpful with information about the area. The room was very clean and we particularly enjoyed all of the special touches…a private outdoor space to sit, a comfortable table area for meals, well equipped kitchenette and bathroom, robes in the closet, access to books and videos to use during our stay.

Really can’t think of anything.

perfect fall getaway location.

everything!! We had a private porch and entrance. every need was anticipated by the staff. we had the most wonderful experience at the shaker mill inn!

It is our second stay there. It's very comfortable.

The breakfast was enough and varied each day

The GPS in tge car couldn't find the place. Apparently it is a common problem with this address. There should be a little blurb about this in the website.

Five star Inn that will be our “go to” get away.

The inn was just lovely. The Keepers of the Inn anticipated every possible comfort and necessity. The Inn and grounds were warm, country cozy, inviting and just lovely. In room breakfast service was wonderful and provided a sampling of local specialties. The Keepers of the Inn were welcoming and friendly.

Great cozy accommodation with perfect location and hospitality

Shake Mill Inn is amazing accommodation. Everything was prefect: comfort, location, design, breakfast, amenities. John is amazing host, he helped us a lot with recommendation about what to do and where to eat. I definitely recommend staying at Shake Mill Inn

Perfect getaway for us and the dog.

Perfect setting for a getaway with my wife and our dog. Manager was friendly and attentive. Truly a pet friendly place. Spotless room and grounds. You can quickly see the attention to detail.

Great little spot for your Tanglewood visit

Very accommodating hosts! Lovely gardens and very comfortable outdoor seating areas for relaxing.

Very good idea to have breakfast already served in the room . The kitchenette was perfect. A much safer option in our post Covid world( are we post yet?)

Beds could have been a bit more comfy but that's always a personal preference.

It was nice to have the breakfast items in our room as we had to leave super early for a bike event on sunday a.m. and had to leave early monday to get back to work!

More protein options for meals in the room.. maybe hard boiled eggs? The pull out bed even with new mattress was a bit uncomfortable unless you are a tiny light person.
