Dreadful experience. The hotel now houses refugees so would not honour my booking.com booking.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially the staff at Breakfast.
The location of the hotel has very busy roads directly adjacent and the double glazing in my room did not buffer the noise.

The staff were amazing, very friendly. We travelled with our dog and he was made to feel like a VIP!
Breakfast selection was ok.
Could be some more vegan options for breakfast. Dog fee of £25 is a bit higher than the usual market price.

The beds were comfy and it was big and I got to stay on number 2

We were travelling to Scotland and the hotel was a convenient stop right next to the motorway.
The Hotel key didnt work so we had to ask someone to unlock the door. The room heating wasn't working efficiently so the room was a little cold, and the housekeeping had left old used towels in the shower.

Staff who I spoke to were helpful and polite. Bathroom in the room was lovely, clean and modern
Management sending staff to tell me no food was available until well after my kids bedtime. I asked to see manager but still they didn't want to talk and sent out others.

Comfy bed
Slow booking in
Really slow booking out
Being charged an extra £30 deposit per day when checking in
Toilets near bar/reception were awful, smelly, in dire need of repairs and redecorating

My husband had been in a toad traffic accident and I needed somewhere to stay with my daughter near the hospital. The staff where so lovely, from the receptionist called Carol to the bar staff that served us our meal. Nothing was to much trouble. I have never stayed in a hotel before where all the staff are so fantastic, they all went above and beyond with their customer service. This was really welcomed in a very difficult time. Thankyou for making our stay a pleasant and comfortable one.

Check-in/check-out was efficient, parking was straightforward and the breakfast was satisfactory
The room was really cold. It was the last one in a corridor. The corridor itself was warm but the room was cold and altering the thermostat did not make any difference. We (and also at least one other guest) complained about it in the morning and the management felt that it was because one of the boilers had failed overnight but, of course, it was already too late by that time.

The room was clean and quiet, if a little old and ragged. The reception staff were friendly.
The dining area was farcical. There was sign saying wait to be seated, so I waited as 3 staff members ignored me while going in and out to the kitchen. Eventually I asked if I could sit at one of the empty tables, one of them said that was no problem, then they continued to ignore me. Eventually I got up and asked if dinner was still being served, one of them says to go to the app. I look again at the table and there is a small QR code in the corner which is supposed to be used for ordering.
If they are going to ignore people then why is there a big sign saying "wait to be seated"? Why do they think I knew about the stupid app before I got to their hotel, so that it didn't need to be clear and visible to customers? What sort of hotel uses those stupid apps now anyway?
To make things even better, the food was crazy expensive, and they brought me a bill despite me already having paid for the food through their stupid app in the first place. I went elsewhere for dinner for the rest of my stay in Warrington.

The room is clean and tidy.
Parking is all around the hotel
I stopped using this hotel some years ago when the fire alarm went off in the middle of the night (false alarm).
Then I used it again in July 2022 - OK, then on 11/01/2023, the fire alarm went off at 1am (false alarm again).
What are the odds? I think they have a problem here.
They have a system of bringing coffee to the breakfast table and i asked twice but it never came.
