Die Lage, reichlich Parkplätze.

Die Dame am der Rezeption war unfreundlich, fühlte sich genervt, weil meine Frau ihre Kreditkarten Pin falsch eingegeben hatte, und reagierte auf weitere Fragen sehr unwirsch. Die Bettwäsche war sauber, hatte aber Löcher und war an den Rändern ausgefranzt, nicht gerade das, was man sich unter saubere Bettwäsche verste

Dated but great value

Spacious, great location for what we needed. Big rooms, lots of tea and coffee and milk. Iron in room.

Dated rooms, needs some maintenance doing in the bathroom. Paintwork deteriorated and badly patched up.

Great place for visiting Ipswich.

Staff very friendly. Hotel clean and very comfortable. Room had everything you need. Restaurant good for dinner and excellent choice for breakfast. Parking very easy and good price.

The welcoming, helpful staff made for a memorable stay.

Our room was a good size, the bathroom was spacious,with lovely white towels. The breakfast was great with all the usual choices. The nice touch being that the fried eggs were done on order and not left under the hot lights in a batch!

Our window frame needs some attention. The shower screen frame also.

Enjoyed a very pleasant relaxing time and I will be returning in the future

The Staff were friendly, welcoming, informative and engauging. Nothing was to much trouble, from the front desk to room service, restraunt to bar all the staff made our stay very enjoyable. A good choice of food, drinks the sound track was also very good and I found myself humming away to the tunes. The facilities were clean and well serviced

The traffic noise did wake us up quiet early, possibly blackout or heavier curtain would help to reduce the road noise and light.

Hotel is ok, but rooms need better sound insulation

Noisy room, walls are too thin. I could hear the adjacent guest snoring all night through the wall. Windows are not sealed tightly, can hear traffic on A14 and local traffic. Bad nights sleep as a result.

Perfect stay!

Where do I start? Easy to get to location straight off the A14. Minimal, if zero queuing to get to the hotel. Super close to restaurants and fast food places but the in house resturant and bar does lovely food. Fantastic service. You can also get uber eats etc to deliver there really quickly and easily, as long as you meet them in reception. The staff are amazing. Literally, amazing. Genuinely kind, helpful, lovely people that made our 2 week stay so much easier than I thought it would be. William saved the day after my food delivery one evening wasn't eatable and another member of staff, I didn't get his name unfortunately, noticed a bag that I accidently left in the carpark, he brought it indoors and kept it safe for me. Our room had all the things we needed including multiple plug sockets and USB points. A hairdryer, iron and board, daily top ups of tea and coffee. The beds are super comfy and the temperature is easily controlled within the room. We were even able to bring our dog with us. Do not think twice about choosing to stay at this hotel. Absolutely wonderful stay.

There genuinely isn't anything I was unhappy about.

Super value, very clean, outstanding service

Laura the receptionist went above and beyond to welcome us. She upgraded our room, brought extra towels (and chocolates) and made sure we were ok. We felt like we were the only family staying in the hotel. Very clean (a little dated in some areas), but the staff and breakfast were fab. Very good value with booking.com

Lovely place to stay as long as you avoid getting served at the bar.

Clean, comfy room lovely and quiet. Chocolates on the bed when we arrived. Really lovely person at reception.

The lady working behind the bar in the evening was one of the rudest people we've ever been served by. Had to ask to be served every time as she wasn't there. When she finally turned up there was no hello, no smile, blunt one worded responses. At one point we heard her shouting at the people in the kitchen for pressing the call button to serve food. Generally unpleasant and like that to every poor customer in the bar that evening, who were all very patient with her.

Excellent comfortable stay.

Didn't have breakfast, staff were friendly and respectful. Bedroom a good size with a king size bed. Especially like that there was an iron and ironing board in each bedroom.

The flow of water in the shower could have been stronger. (My husband's opinion)

It was fine for our needs

Great location.

Beds are way too soft. Breakfast too expensive so opted out. Would have stayed for evening meal but staff unable to control other guests children (wedding party in) running around

Lovely hotel with friendly and professional staff.

Wonderfull staff in the restaurant (Zach and the waitress with the short hair) Really impressed with their level of service and professionalism, such lovely people and a real credit to the hotel. 😊

Nice clean comfy room. Great staff. Fabulous food. Good selection for breakfast, would have been nice to see a Thai Style. But that's me. Most other people may not like. Perhaps talk to the Thai lady who is a member of staff. I would definitely go back if in the are. A big thank you to all the team for making my trip memorable. Best wishes Andy J

Pleasant short stay

Property was easy to find just off the A14. The restaurant area had a little section with toys and books, lots of different things to keep kids entertained. They also had a mini freezer by the door for guests to get an ice lolly and also had sweets on the reception desk. Staff were really friendly and really helpful. Breakfast was nice, whilst I like a warm plate for my food the plate warmer was absolutely scalding and was really hard to get the plate out. Not ideal with little children.

We arrived just after 7pm we went to our room and then went and got some food. The restaurant was relatively quiet and there was only one person who seemed to be working. Whilst she was very friendly and nice, the speed of service was way too slow. We had two young children with us and we just wanted our food relatively quickly. The starters came out quick enough but the wait between starter and main was about 40 minutes. I wouldn’t mind if the restaurant was busy but there were only about 2-3 other tables in there and all small groups of 2-4 people. When our main came out, part of the meal had been left off. By the time it came out the kitchen we’d finished and no longer wanted it. Again the server was lovely and took that item off the bill. I found the food on the menu to be really expensive for what it was. A mac and cheese main meal was £17.50! The starters were all around 7-10 and just not worth the amount. We live on the south coast so are used to prices being higher but expected it to be cheaper on the east not higher.

The staff were lovely, especially Ester.

We were staying for a wedding. Our electric cut off shortly before we were leaving. We were moved but had to do it ourselves giving us little time to dry our hair, finish ironing etc. The room was a double when we had booked a king. Expected some kind of compensation for the disruption, not even offered a complementary breakfast.

Excellent short notice availability Reduced price I loved how helpful & friendly all the staff encountered were The request for an extra towel was very prompt Room was prepared at very short notice with goid grace Staff were effervescent & very kind towards kindness shown towards them by guests of room 58 Lovely banter from late night staff & early morning staff

Room was booked at short notice & was cleaned at short notice by the young lady who was also the same person who was dealing with the front desk This resulted in hher having to run up & down the staris , the room being ready being delayed & not cleaned to the best standards There needed to be better planning around staff availability There was no complaint from the staff member who was excellent in her interactions with us But it resulted in our having late access to a room that needed better preparation & cleaning

Large room with large bed!!

Stayed 2 nights, the room cleaning was a bit half hearted, one bin emptied, one mug washed etc.... nothing major though! The restaurant was expensive over £18 pounds for macaroni cheese.....

The most friendly, comfortable & quality for money hotel we have ever stayed in!

The whole staff were so friendly & helpful. On arrival, the reception staff bent over backwards to fulfil our request for a twin room with a bath. The following morning, the chef went out of his way to cook scrambled eggs just as my husband likes! All in all, an excellent breakfast with ample choice &catering for every taste. The beds/pillows were the most comfortable we have ever experienced & the lighting & charging points were carefully thought out. a good night's sleep was had by all with a great breakfast to look forward to each morning! I would definitely recommend this hotel for any traveller.

The check in was faultless The rooms clean and bed comfy Bar opened 24/7 Sian the bar lady was the best

No due diligence in kitchen in to front of house, overpriced food, food was bland and tasteless, as a chef I was dissatisfied with the quality of food breakfast was ok but not the best

We choose this hotel because it is close to the David Lloyd gym of which we are members.

The buffet breakfast is very good. There is plenty of comfortable sitting areas downstairs. The room is a good size and we love the walk in shower cubicle.
