Les bains chauds compris dans le prix sont un vrai plus. Les chambres, bien qu'un peu dans leur jus, sont confortables et propres. Idéal pour une pause d'une nuit. Nous recommandons.

After entering the house, it is warm. There is a simple kitchen, a hot tub to soak in, and the equipment is very good.
The upper bunk of the four-person room is just a sloping roof, which is really a little small.
5.0
Room is comfy, with heating, nice private bathroom. Beds are wonderful. Outside bathtubs available, nice warm water in chilly weather.

Good option for stay after Golden Circle if you then continue to the east. Great location. Warm inside during cold summer evening.

cheaper solution.
only 1 shower for 9 guests. Staff was not nice.

I guess the free coffee in the morning and the dogs, that’s about it. Would’ve loved the hot tubs if we got to use them.
The rooms were incredibly hot, literally steaming. We couldn’t open the windows because of the midges and they didn’t have screens… please get screens so people don’t boil. We booked the hostel because of the hot tubs and yet couldn’t use them because there was a big school trip and they were using both of the tubs the entire time. Staff should have relegated them to one so others could use them, too. It was pretty inconvenient to get to and the facilities, like bathroom, shower and kitchen were subpar. The bathroom was pretty dirty. I wouldn’t recommend unless they make some upgrades.

The hostel is in a great location. The coffee lounge area was good and we ate at the picnic benches outside as the weather was glorious. It’s cheap for Iceland and the place is basic. there were some lovely dogs and homemade Icelandic jumpers.
The rooms were very hot and it wasn’t possible to open the windows because of midges at this time of year. There was only one toilet/bathroom for the whole of our block which was annoying when everyone was showering in the evening. It’s totally fine though. Good if you are on a budget.

My mother and I loved this place! The owners/staff are so friendly and our room was so clean. We paid for the breakfast and it was delicious. Totally worth it.

I loved the setting, very quiet. The hot tub was great and the kitchen area was super nice, got to sit back and watch eurovision, which was fun.
The neighbors were super loud on the second night, way past 11. Not really the hotel's fault, but walls are thin so bring earplugs.

The room was comfortable and clean.
I loved the hot tub especially.

Staff were friendly and upgraded us to a room with private bathroom. Room was very comfortable, and common areas were very inviting.
2.0
It was nice that there was a hot tub and the staff was also friendly.
The bathroom was extremely gross despite the staff saying that there was only one other room booked for the evening so it wasn't at Max capacity. Also the room was extremely hot but fortunately we were able to open it. Also fyi this property is like a hostel.

The staff was lovely! And they upgraded us to a room with a private bathroom which was a great surprise after a very long day. The room was clean and comfortable. Would go back

The area was very beautiful especially we arrived after the heavy snow. We were a bit worried that there was no kitchen but they actually provided quite some stuff that we were allowed to have a nice meal. Room is clean and tidy. Everything was great.
We were looking forward to the jacuzzi but the place was very dark and didn't look well-maintained, the water wasn't that hot so we didn't go in in the end. Would be nice if there are some lights and cleaning.

clean room and great location.
there is a lounge room to have a hot drink or play some games.
the owner was super nice and welcoming
unfortunately we had the misfortune of having drunken kids playing loud music and talking loudly as neighbors.
We decided to go to the reception and the owner, after apologizing for the inconvenience, allowed us to change the room to a larger one in another building

This area is so quiet and the rooms are very comfortable.
I recommend breakfast here also, it is so nice!!

Very good value for money, very clean, common room an excellent space with tea and coffee available no matter the time. The outside hot tub was very nice even in -4
It’s a drive into Selfoss, apart from that very good.

Nice central location, near town. We enjoyed shopping in Sellfoss.

Lovely staff, great hot tubs, good size room and perfect for where we wanted to be. Good lounge area
It was all good except my mattress on one of the beds was too soft for me so I switched beds.

Staff very friendly, went to pick up us on the road as google maps did not bring us right to the place, but we were just right beside. As it was dark, I called the guesthouse and in 2 minutes he was there to guide us!
Also we received a better room than that we booked. Dogs are lovely and friendly.
4.0
The best thing was the hot tub, it was perfect to relax after a long day of walking.
The staff was friendly and very helpful. And there are 2 beautiful dogs that want to play all the time (we loved them!)
Everything was clean and tidy
The room was really small and there was just one bathroom that we had to share with 3 other rooms, which was not ideal for the shower.
3.5
We had some trouble finding the guest house because of road works and Google maps indicating a very long detour. But of course, the guest house cannot be held liable for what Google maps tells.
We expected to be able to get breakfast in the guesthouse, which was not the case (already late in September). But the guesthouse indicated a very good bakery in Selfoss, so we managed to get breakfast after all.
4.5
Nice place, hot tubs available, free coffee and tea. Clean and convenient if you are heading south. There’s actual people at the front desk (which we found it is hard to see in Iceland).
