Cute place, clean bathrooms and kitchen. Good social area. Loved the pets. Staff were friendly.
The hostel charges and extra $MX30 on top of the taxes they advertise when you get there. They need to add this to the taxes advertised.
The rooms smell a little damp.

- I had to give my passport as caution for the key. At the end they forgot to give it back to me and i also forgot it. i noticed it after some days(they didnt say anything) the evening before my flight back and had to travel to tulum from playa del carmen on my last evening, almost missed my flight.
- the bikes were too small or the tires without air but you can rent other bikes in the near

The bikes we rented were very rusty and didn’t feel safe. One of the wheels was very wobbly and the tires were flat and we had to fill them with air.

I recommend this hostel with all my heart!
The place was beautiful, with hammocks and chairs around in the common space that one could relax on, beautiful music playing from time to time, cats and dogs hanging around. The staff was very nice and thoughtful. One could easily tell that they really like and respect each other, which was building up this wonderful vibe, moving onto the guests and elevating the experience. All of that was making it hard for me to get out of the place beacuse hanging out there was so pleasurable and deeply relaxing.
On a more technical side, kitchen was very well equipped, breakfast was good, and the place was very clean.
It's hard for me to point out any flaws. I'll just mention that if you rent a tent it's best if you have a car cause there are no lockers.

We like the inside garden and the staff were great. Nice kitchen and bathroom
Its so noisy... I thought it would be a quiet place but there is so much noise of the road. Not a placé for People looking for a calm place. I dont recommand the tent.

There was A/C inthe room, it was a private room, hamacs, the place was fresh it self for all the green areas they have, pet friendly
The was a leak in the kitchen sink, they haven't fixed it, it wastes a lot of water, not good for the environment

Breakfast is a bit haphazard, nothing happens until at least 8am, then they start to set out toast and fruit, better Hostels have coffee going from 7.30
Lots of Mosquitos, the rooms are hot and humid despite the AC
the Staff seem to care more about the animals than the guests,

The hostel and its atmosphere is nice. The tent is of nice size for two people with space for bags and a comfy air mattress (make sure you also get the electricty, fan, blankets and pillows, see below). Some of the staff is nice and helpful, the breakfast was okay. The bikes are definitely not maintained, but they are half the price of what they cost elsewhere and a few of them are usable for a ride to the beach and ruines. It was pretty clean during our stay. Yes, there are bugs and ants, but you can't expect anything else in the jungle!
The location is terrible, because there are two restaurants next door that play very loud music (not even good music) with deep bass (so earplugs won't help), until 3-4 am. If they are finally quiet, the road is also pretty noisy.
Not all personnel knows what they are doing. We slept in a tent. The first night we only got one sheet, the next night we asked for a blanket and were given a second sheet, but also got electricity, a light and a fan that needed cleaning and never made it to our tent (but it was cold, so we didn't ask for it), the last night we got an actual blanket. The morning we checked out, we saw the other tent also had pillows. So don't forget to ask about all of this when renting a tent.
Also the cats were fighting and climbing on and in the tents all night on our last night.

Incredible experience, the rooms are so cool and the staff is friendly and helpful.
If we had 1 more blanket the place would have been perfect, but then again, we didn't even ask for an extra one so it's partly my fault.

really cozy little tubes to sleep in, gives you a nice bit of privacy and a great open communal space with plenty of chairs and hammocks nestled in between the trees to give it a jungle feel

Very cozy place. Like a little jungle. Nice that you could borrow bikes. Also good kitchen and the location was great since it was in the middle between the ocean and the city. I recommend👏
A small amount of ants where you slept. Maybe just where we had our bed

We have stayed several times and we like it a lot, the location and the place are really good.
Beds and pillows may need a change.

The hostel has a nice common area, also for sitting with a bigger group. It's located close to many restaurants and the city center and beach can be reached.
When you want to have breakfast. There is only a limited amount of eggs. The bikes you can rent for 100 Pesos are not maintained and we had to put the chain back I several times. The tube is quite small and there is not much storage stage. When you want to have a good shower take the first one. The rest are not getting cold water.

some bugs and a lizard in our room

The tube room did have a/c but it was terrible, we kept switching it on and of because there was to much of a draft from it and then on again because the room had a gaping doorframe which resulted in the room heating up so fast. We slept so bad that night.

It was clean, comfortable, quiet, the wifi worked in the room, the hot water worked and the staff were amazing without being in your face all the time. free breakfast was a bonus!
