Relaxing
I was pleased with everything.
4.5
The cabins were quaint and clean. There was nothing fancy but just enough. We will return.
Neighbors were smoking on the porch of the cabin. Possibly group non-smokers in one cabin and smokers that don't mind the smell together as well.

So peaceful

The coziness and decor
The shower seemed to be very easy to leak out of the shower curtain but other than that I loved everything about this little place

This place is close to quite a few towns and is so quiet and peaceful. We love it.

The check in states that it is at 4. I asked to have check in a little earlier and they were responsive. There is not someone at the desk 24/7, so that communication is necessary, but they were great! The beds were very comfy and the entire place is just relaxing, peaceful and just the place to be if you want to be in nature and away from the maddening crowds. Unfussy.
We used the kitchen in our cabin to make a couple of meals. It would have been nice to have small things like salt and pepper on hand. However, the essentials were there.

Beautiful, secluded, peaceful. Loved being able to draw spring fresh cool water from the Healing Springs pump.
The only downer was sleeplessness due to most uncomfortable well used mattresses.

Met new friends around the fire. We had a very good night Saturday
No extra toilet paper. It was not a big deal just would of been nice if there was an extra roll.

We love the vibe of the place and the surroundings, just perfectly peaceful and so beautiful! The home made soaps, fresh spring water and fire pits are the cherry on top. Just great!
Maybe it would have been useful to have a light in the kitchen corner, so it's easier to see what you're doing :) but that's just a detail of course.

Anyone could come in and get a key, unlock the door, put the key back, and wait in the room to attack. The honor system is scarey in the world today. I just thank your asking for trouble.

Peaceful but not convenient with the hot water issues
I ask about the hot water to be fixed ,but only worked once while we were there. Used the pan to heat water on the stove to wash up.

I liked the fact that it was spotless, and they had the heat ready for us when we got there. I was a really easy process to get into the cabin, and it really felt inviting.
I really didn't know we were going to get charged for a cleaning fee, if I had known this I wouldn't have left them a 20 dollar tip. Nothing was mentioned of this until I looked on my bank and realized I was overcharged by 30 dollars. Which made this kinda bad for me was I made sure I wash and cleaned everything before we left, so they didn't have to clean the room but all they had to do was change sheets, so this is really upsetting to me.

What a great getaway!!!!! So quiet and peaceful.

THE BED: The top of the mattress was 37 inches off the floor. There was no step stool to get into bed. My wife could not get up that high and safely get out of bed during the night. Thus she had to sleep on the couch! THE TOILET: The seat was falling off the toilet. CLEANING FEE: A cleaning fee was automatically added, and then also an envelope was left to give more money to the cleaning staff.

It's all self check in so I never met any staff, but didn't need too, you have everything you need and what you don't is available in their store which is always accessible property is really super cool

Everything. We visit almost 3X a year. Great place to relax. Some cabins have no Internet or phone service. All 1800's have been restored inside with very comfortable mattress and at least 2 chairs for reading.
Each has a porch with chairs overlooking a dirt road ans and stream.
The owner, Ann, is super to work with and knows all best places to eat and visit.
It a great place to visit. Try it, you'll like it!!
Nothing. Everything is great! Cabins look primitive, but once inside, very comfortable!!

We loved how quiet it was at the property. It was rustic but exactly what we needed for an overnight stay. It was very clean. If you are looking for a rustic experience in a quiet mountain getaway, this is the place for you. The homemade soap was very nice. I wish I had picked up a bar before we left. We really did not see anyone on the property until checkout and I happened to run into a gentleman as we were leaving and said have a good day...
The clawfoot bathtub was a little hard/awkward to use, and the water in the pipes ran brown/cloudy first thing in the morning. It is a very old cabin so it was not really surprising to me that this would have happened.

Cabin was clean and very cozy. Had a beautiful claw foot tub and fireplace
There wasn't anything we didn't like
