Rural cosy pub

Bell Inn is a charming, quintessentially British country retreat where hospitality is warm and inviting. Perfectly matched with the cozy room and great food. Breakfast was a delight. Top class service.
Nothing to complain of. Even the smell of the agricultural surrounds simply complements the unique country experience!

Location and staff, lovely pub.
The room was extremely hot, even given the weather. Obviously not the staff’s fault, but even with 2 fans in the room, the temperature in the room was still more than 30 degrees after 10pm. Impossible to sleep.

Lovely traditional pub with excellent service.
Shower would benefit from non slip mat. Grab handle in shower would be helpful. No rack in shower for soap/shampoo. Towel hook on shower room door would be useful.

Beautiful little pub with excellent food and friendly staff.
A slight whiff of sewage spoiled the stay somewhat. As a farmer didn't bother me excessively but would do for many guests.

Dinner and breakfast were excellent. Quirky rooms and decor.
Our bed was not the most comfortable unfortunately.

Every thing as we have been there before.

Good location as we were staying over for the royal international airshow. Food was very good.
Bed in room had springs coming through, very uncomfortable! Bill came for food with 12.5% so called discretional service charge, not advised on the menu and highly embarrassing having to question with other diners next to us. Also drinks were extortionate ( diet coke and half a Guinness £8 !! ) Broken mirror ledge and toilet seat in bathroom and worse was appalling lack of parking spaces so had to park 100 yds up the road (I'm disabled) on narrow road which was very awkward .

The cooked breakfast.
fresh coffee
There could have been more fruit on the table at breakfast

Good place to stay for visiting the Cotswolds.
Nice old hotel with a good 500 year old feel to it in a lovely little town.
Good parking if you are lucky enough to get a park(would depend how busy the pub is with non guests I'd think)
Great breakfast.
Expensive dinner that was not good at all. We ate elsewhere our 2nd night.

Friendly helpful staff great choices at breakfast in a very calm relaxing environment.
Great place spent most of it outside as so hot. The drains were a bit smelly which wasn't great. It was tricky getting there because of various bridge closures but that wasn't their fault!!

The staff were all fabulous, really welcoming and accommodating. I booked the superior room which was a great size with everything you need and it smelt AMAZING! Breakfast was seriously good too!

Staff were very friendly, dogs welcomed.
Booking.com advertised as pets allowed no charges applicable, but the automated email included charges for dogs, which were waived, but it was a bit stressful asking for clarity. The room was quite small, no place for clothes storage and was over the bar, and soundproofing was non existent.

Breakfast was lovely with really good quality ingredients. Nice coffee. Room was nicely decorated with comfortable bed and surroundings. Shower was powerful and hot, I could have stayed in there a lot longer! Great spot for an overnight stay and will return.
