Absolutely stunning, extremely well done barn conversion with the X factor! Breakfast and hosts were a delight.
Nothing at all

We had the first floor to ourselves so enjoyed the peaceful privacy and that the lovely Donna was on hand if needed.

The barn was stunning and the two rooms we had were massive , clean and had tea/ coffee and biscuits , Donna was lovely and she brought choccie Cocoa Cockapoo with her each morning who was a cute bonus! It was easy to drive to and we caught a bus into Oxford one day - the bus stop was a short walk and £2 single per person. Better option as Oxford not easy place in a car due to roadworks. .
The hop on hop off bus round Oxford and walking tour in between is a must!
We ate twice at the Bear and ragged staff pub a few minutes drive down the road- lovely pub, great food. Another recommendation!
Loved Sabine barn, it was a great option instead of a hotel, We would go back!!
Also it would be a great place to rent out entirely as a bunch of friends or a family.
The bathroom to the big suite is part over the open lounge, so you can easily hear the loo flush and shower running etc which may not suit everyone. The lounge lights are on a motion sensor which we couldn’t turn off so they flicked on/off in the evening when we moved in the sofa/ chairs.

It took me 15 mins from the pear tree park and ride, which was perfect for me. I had the Superior room, which was a really large sized room with a comfortable couch. There’s mirrored closets which are a nice touch, and the private bathroom has beautiful high end specs and a decent shower. It even has a heated towel rack which is another bonus! I really couldn’t fault the place, as a single traveller it felt very safe, and will def return if I’m in the area. I was close enough to Oxford to drive in with ease, and far enough from the city that I woke up and heard birdsong, which is such a great way to start your day.
I can’t think of anything. I will note that if you use WAZE as a traffic app, it wants you to go and turn R slightly before the entrance which for me was on the L. So if you’re using the app, just double check and make sure you turn where you see the big sign that says SABINE as shown in the pics of the property. But that’s the apps issue and not the host!!!

Style of the place (converted barn), breakfast, hospitality, close parking.
I had expected breakfast to be included, but it was worth paying the extra on the day.

Everything was exceptional. Our hostess was friendly and helpful beyond any expectation. The barn was excellently restored and comfortably furnished. Breakfast included real fresh fruit and a Full English. Value for money was off the scale.

Excellent accommodation and hosts. Very clean. Excellent breakfast.
Had difficulty finding the place in the dark. Light for sign had not come on probably due to recent time change.
Pedestal sink in bathroom not practical. (Not enough room to put things down). Outlet for plugging in hair dryer not in proximity to a mirror.

The Barn was easy to find. It was close to our sightseeing opportunities. Donna and Clive are really helpful and engaging. Breakfast was adequate, not exceptional.
There was no luggage rack or suitable horizontal space for luggage (raised from the floor).

Wonderful breakfast. Hosts fantastic - friendly and very helpful. Made me want to go back. Lovely quiet location.
The necessity to travel by bus into Oxford for my Saturday and Sunday commitments was a pain, but I guess I knew that before I booked! The price was great for this standard.
