No reponen ni los vasos de papel de la habitación ni dos sobres de nescafe en una estancia de 3 noches. Nos dejaron sin toallas un día. El parking por noche 35€ en un lugar que no es ni céntrico.

Good location for going to a concert or fastival at Z7 as well as aquabasilea

Clean room, friendly staff, nice breakfast, Aquabasilea next door

On the day of departure, the housekeeping lady wanted to clean our room before we even checked out. She was quite persistent.

Hôtel globalement décevant

Les chambres sont propres et c’est selon moi le principale. L’endroit est isolé et calme. Nous avons pu faire le Check in à 14h

Les salles de bain sont vieillissantes (joints de la douche devraient être refaits), climatisation pas très puissante, difficile de faire baisser la température. Restaurant moyen. Check-in et out long. Même pas une bouteille d’eau dans la chambre.

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und die Unterkunft war mit dem Auto sehr gut zu erreichen. Die Zimmerausstattung war gut und es war sauber.

Der Preis ist recht hoch.

This might be good for one night but I am sure there is a better option closer to airport

The bed was comfortable.

The location was way out there. It’s 1 hour at least from the airport with a walk to the nearest train station where you have to carry your luggage and cross a bridge. In a seedy part of town on that walk. Also, the kids area was under renovation and the breakfast was super expensive and there were flies all over the food.

De kamer en ontbijt

In de advert lijkt het net of het zwembad gratis is maar kost 30 euro voor 1-2 uur. Daarnaast is de parking verplicht voor 24 uur. Hotel geeft wel korting.

Hôtel très bien avec centre aquatique super!

Très bel hôtel à côté de Aquabasilea avec accès privilégié c'était super. L'hôtel en lui-même était très bien, les gens très serviables et la chambre très bien.

Le seul bémol est la qualité de la nourriture du restaurant qui ne vaut clairement pas le prix payé. Ils nous ont dit que c'était une chaîne et que c'était standard mais on s'attend à beaucoup mieux.

Much less than expected

I liked the decor

The service was extremely poor. We waited 15 minutes to be acknowledged. When we asked to check in, we waited a further 15 minutes. Once we had checked in, we were told the pool facilities were 35CHF per person (not stated when booking and advertised with pool. Parking a further 25 CHF, again not advertised when said “parking”. We went down for a drink and food. Waited again at the bar for 15 minutes to be acknowledged. Decided to ask for a table to eat instead. Despite being “family friendly” there were no high chairs for our child. We ordered drinks after another 10 minutes, ordered food 30 mins later. Food was nice, service again lacked anything. When we went to check out in the morning the service was much better.

C’était magnifique et j’y reviendrai.

Le fait que ce soit lié avec les bains, l’emplacement (c’est à 10 minutes de la gare), la chambre rien à redire, le personnel à l’écoute et très professionnel, le petit déjeuner très bon.

Pour être tout à fait honnête, il n’y a rien que je n’ai pas aimé.

cleaning service should be replaced

Good discounted price for 1-day pass to Aquabasilea, which we enjoyed. In particular the saunas part.

Comparing to my many previous stays in this hotel, the cleaning service was significantly worse. During our 3-nights stay, during 2 days there was some problem with cleaning service (maybe a new cleaning provider after the refurbishment?). Once they taken all the towels and did not provide new ones (I called the reception and they did not want to bring them to the room, I had to go to the reception... fortunately we were both parents there so one was able to stay with a 1yo baby). Second day, they left fresh towels on a toilet... is it a hygienic standard of this hotel?

Vacances familiales

La propreté des lieux, l'amabilité de tout le personnel hôtelier, c'était vraiment très agréable. La salle de fitness est top, un vrai plaisir, le restaurant est très agréable, on y mange bien (les prix sont un peu surfait par contre😅) les mets sont savoureux et servis très rapidement!

Le parking devrait avoir des caméras de surveillance, je me suis parquée très correctement entre deux voitures et un ou une malotru/e à saccagée ma portière. Scandaleux, il y a des gens dans conscience ni scrupules😡 je trouve également qu'entre l'hôtel et le centre de bains, ils devraient s'accorder pour ce qui est des entrées et des bracelets. C'est assez désordonné et pénible😅 Dernier petit point dérangeant, l'hôtel n'accepte pas les paiements par Twint...

War kein 4 Sterneaufenthalt, sondern nur ein 3 Sterneaufenthalt.

Zimmer und Bett war O.K.

Beim Frühstück war der Service nicht besonders, es hat auch einiges (Obstsalat) gefehlt oder wurde nicht aufgefüllt. Die Kaffeemaschinen hatten laufend eine Störung.

Nice hotel, comfortable, friendly staff at reception.

Poor service at bar. Not enough staff. Indifferent. Quite surprising for Marriott. Poor location, however probably suitable for business travellers .

I arrived before my check In time and I kindly requested a room or space to take our bathing suites and other things to go to the swimming pool and the receptionist was not really polite. I was traveling with a small kid. If the rooms are not ready you can offer a small space for guests to take all necessary things out of luggage and visit Aquabasilea. Thanks

Location en route to Italy and being next to the swimming area Aquabasillica. Good breakfast and secure parking

Rooms are a bit dated, unavailability of discounted 2-hour entrance tickets to Aqua Basilica.

Big mistake not to be repeated.

Air conditioning temperature control did not work. It was 30 degrees outside. No curtain blinds to block light in the morning, so at 6:00 AM the room was flooded with light. Stains on carpet look disgusting.
