Located in a quiet lane of the old town, and yet just a (very) short walk from the more bustling part with its Taverns and shops. Historical buildings converted into a small but superb boutique hotel. Amazing, historical architecture. Our room was #9, actually like a penthouse apartment, including a very nice roof terrace with a view over the old town. Very friendly management, very professional and helpful.
Actually nothing to dislike, but to note: Hotel entrance cannot be accessed by cars (lane is too narrow), so luggage will have to be carried for about 50-60 m. Inside the hotel no elevator, be prepared to climb some stairs to get to the room.

This hotel was in a convenient location in the old town. We were able to park our rental car a short distance away at a paid lot nearby. Realistically the walk from the parking to the hotel was probably about the same as if you parked in a large Las Vegas casino hotel lot and had to walk across the entire lot. The interior is basically a modern building built inside an old one. Very modern throughout. The breakfast area was cozy and the food was delicious.
Unfortunately our room did not have good sound insulation from the noisy family staying in the room above. It often sounded as if they were in the room with us. Otherwise it was very comfortable.

Beautiful building, very nicely renovated. Excellent location within the old town with easy and safe access. Very friendly but at the same time discreet staff.

Best place in Rethymnon! Absolute gem of a place! Super friendly owners. Very quiet but in the center of town. We can't wait to come back in October :)

Beautiful old building which has been refurbished to a high level without losing its historical charm. Right in the heart of the old city but on a quiet side street. The family who runs the casa are hospitable and generous!

Great location. Beautiful building. Very good breakfast. Extremely helpful staff.
Temperamental air conditioning. Standard room was very small and lacked storage space. The suites were fantastic.

We were welcomed very warmly by the staff (who is always happy to help and chat) and were overwhelmed by the spacious and beautiful room with the high wooden ceiling and the ancient fireplace. There's a table with chairs, an equipped little kitchen, a sofa, sofa table and big mirror in the room - which makes you feel almost like at home.
The breakfast area reminded us of a beautiful, ancient-modern Greek hall. We enjoyed the fresh and various choices at the breakfast buffet and really appreciated that we were able to have it already at 8am as we needed to leave early to catch our flight.
We'd love to come back and can recommend this quiet, lovely accommodation in every way!

Absolutely amazing place to stay in the heart of the city. The hosts were very welcoming and gave us wonderful recommendations for where to eat and visit during our trip- they assisted us with laundry which was done and delivered to us in only a few hours for a very reasonable price. Breakfast was also a highlight with fresh fruits, vegetables, meats, cheeses and a variety of Cretan pastries. We are already recommending it to family who are thinking of visiting the city soon!

Very comfortable bed; healthy, fresh and tasty breakfast; high standard of cleanliness; helpful and welcoming staff. My husband has a gluten allergy and staff ensured that he always had something for breakfast. We would honestly not stay anywhere else in Rethymno. The property has been carefully renovated in keeping with the history of the building and the location is really superb for the old town. We look forward to coming back in the future!

The hotel is in a historic building on a busy street (at least in August - beginning of September), fortunately, a walk street. The street can get a bit noisy during the day especially for people who are, like us, in a room at the ground floor. Shortly before midnight it gets quiet and one can get a proper rest. The breakfast was good and personnel very kind.

The house is beautifully restored, in a way that enables you to glimpse what it was, with features well preserved, especially in the breakfast room. Our room was on the ground floor, opening in a courtyard, with a wells (covered) inside, and the bed tucked in an arcade (beware your head if you wake up in the dark). The room was well furnished, the breakfast was tasty (buffet breakfast with good products). This was a very good overnight stay.
Our room was interesting with a wells inside it but it would have been impossible to have natural light without exposing the whole inside of the room to whichever client passing in the courtyard as the only windows were courtyard level. It was fine for one night but might have felt oppressive for longer.
