Séjour agréable dans l'ensemble

Belle vue sur le château et nous avons profité de la piscine. Bonne qualité de viande mais la cuisson ne corresponsait pas à saignant; les autres préparations manquaient légèrement de peps.

Hôtel de charme ancien mais qui demanderait un peu de rénovation.

ok for a stopover but don’t be deceived by the photos

The Studios with terrace are excellent. the rooms inside the hotel only ok.

Tho photos on booking.com make the hotel look much nicer than in real life so it was a bit of a disappointment. Not awful but not as nave as we expected

Un bungalow fuori stagione

Bello tutto il contesto, con la struttura principale con servizio colazione e ristorante che sembra uno chalet. Personale alla reception estremamente gentile. Letto molto comodo.

Le camere sono nuove, rifatte. Sono molto fredde, si scaldano subito perchè ci sono i fan coil ma appena si spengono torna tutto freddo. Non ci sono appoggi in bagno, né ganci per i teli o per accappatoi. Cucina minimal.

A somewhat disappointing stay overlooking Saumur.

The view towards Saumur was splendid, the parking was free, , comfortable bed, good breakfast, the pool was a bonus, air-conditioning was much appreciated , as there was a heatwave.

The studio was rundown and needed refurbishment of some of the furniture and kitchenette in general. Space was limited and was much smaller than the photos suggested. The patio furniture wasn't particularly clean or comfortable. Around the pool some of the sunbeds were broken and the parasols unstable. The newer sunbeds were at ground level and difficult to get in and out of, especially for older people! The steps into the pool were potentially dangerous as the first step was a big drop down. Handrails would have been really helpful as would higher sunbeds. The Logis de France chain usually is of a higher standard. The majority of people staying were using it as a stopover.

Expensive for what you get. But overall nice accommodation.

Nice rooms. Comfortable beds.

Old and dated. Pool has screws sticking out of deck. Deck shower didn’t drain. Rooms are nice and comfortable but noisy, both from restaurant as well as hearing other accommodations. Expensive. Some odd booking policies such as not able to use the hot tub directly beside the pool unless you book it.

Fabulous food, great staff, comfortable rooms.

Breakfast was excellent, the dinner in the evening was really good value and the service was absolutely fabulous. They understood our request for Gluten Free meals and checked with the chef to make sure everything we chose was suitable for our requirements.

Great location away from the hustle and bustle of Samur. Lovely relaxed atmosphere, with helpful, happy staff. Good evening meal on the terrace and very decent breakfast.

Fantastic, special hotel. Highly recommended

This hotel was superb. It was in a lovely quiet spot with clear views. It felt like a very special place and a real treat. We would return again without hesitation. We had a delicious dinner and were made very welcome. We speak very little French but had no issues at check in or in the restaurant.

We had one very minor irritation with the terrace outside our room. This would not deter us from returning.

Perfect spot to relax

The location on the hillside overlooking the town was the perfect spot to sit on the deck and enjoy our pre dinner drink. The food was excellent All the Staff were friendly and made us feel welcome from the moment we stepped through the door Our room or should I say suite was comfortable and clean

A lovely hotel with a great location for Cadre Noir

A lovely apartment and very quiet. Also a very good restaurant

Breakfast was not so great so we only had it the first day then made our own in the apartment.

well appointed rooms with helpful staff. Excellent breakfast. Good facilities, Sauna and Spa if weather good.

Generally needs tidying up. Scratches on walls and doors. Bit worn in places. Wretched fan in toilet of room 8, not controlled by light switch but on all the time. Background humming drives you mad at night.

Superb

The location is great with lovely views. Only a 8 min drive into the town. The staff were really friendly and seemed to happy to work there. We only stopped over for a night, but really enjoyed it. We travelled on a Friday in August and there was music in the town and then a band playing at the hotel when we returned. They didn’t mind we had two kids in tow and there was a great atmosphere.

Nothing. If I could wish for something more it would be to have better towels in the bathroom. But everything was great.

Ideal for a few nights but a car is required to get into Saumur as would be a good 45 minute walk.

It was nice to have the pool as it was very hot.

The pool area was tired and there was not enough sun beds for all guests. We found the restaurant at the hotel was expensive for what it was.
