Room was awful, facilities good.

The facilities at the hotel were really good, and the staff at the restaurant and bar were brilliant

The room was disgusting, the cleaners left the windows and doors open so when we arrived at the property with two small kids at 11.30pm it was covered in mosquitoes and I went to reception at 1am to ask for help and they said there was nothing they could do, the children were covered in bites people kept asking if they had chickenpox. There was something wrong with the air con, dripped water everywhere and room was really damp.

Wonderful view.Comfortable room for the 4 of us.

The airconditioning is not cold enough for hot summer nights. No bath lotion and shampoo at the bathroom.

Staff in Peoples and Meltemi were lovely, so helpful.

Pool sides seem a bit grubby, especially at the new pool. Alot more cats than normal ? Not just at Matina, full resort. Used to be signs around discouraging people from feeding them .

There are multiple pools and it is away from the main drag.

There was somebody else blood around the sink. there are no tea towels provided. staff not very knowledgeable on food choices in the area (she was being trained in and was incredibly lovely but her experienced co-worker didn’t chime in)

Enjoyable stay at a good location, but the accommodation is pretty basic.

Good location near a nice sandy beach, the accommodation in general was okay. All amenities present; pools, restaurant, supermarket. Friendly staff.

Apartment was small for five (2 adults/3 kids) and very basic. There was one bed in the living, that also served as a 'couch', which we placed alongside the other two beds in one of the two bedrooms. We were given a couch to fill up the void that was left in the living. I would recommend to have a nice salon setup in the living (couch and small table). Or just have this roomtype available for 4 sleepers only. It would also be nice to have a kitchen towel, sponge/washing up brush at arrival. The kitchen was poorly stacked.

Great location 5 minutes walk from the main beach. Good value for money. Clean & tidy.

They need a mixologist on the bar to create better/tasty cocktails to compete with the other bars, other than that it was great.

Ground floor balcony isn’t enclosed so couldn’t leave the door open with having a toddler

It was an enjoyable family holiday on a site with everything you need & more. The rooms are basic but you only sleep

First family holiday

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Great location and spot on for our first family holdiay with a toddler. Was also lovely to have the shaded play area as a break from the sun. It was useful to have a shop and couple of bars on site, but also walking distance to others.

Nothing major, just would of been nice to be provided a cloth/washing up liquid in the kitchenette (or have small packs available to buy, rather than a big bottle at the shop as a shame to waste it). So would recommend taking a travel size one with you.

Good value for the money

For a three-star hotel and for the price the value was very good. Close to the beach, nice staff, supermarket, laundry, playground... all facilities on site.

Practically no cleaning in the rooms. Someone comes occasionally and make the beds, but that's all. Lot of moskitos and no nets on the windows

Great value for money, best location of all the hotels.

Fantastic location just 2 minutes from the beach, very central to bars and restaurants. Both pools were large and clean with plenty of sunbeds, service in the bar was excellent.

Maid service was really bad, only the bins were cleaned daily. Beyond that, you only got ONE of the following per day: bed made; towels folded; linen OR towels changed. Bath and bathroom basin were never cleaned. Balcony was never touched. I cleaned my own kitchenette but no hand soap or dishwash soap was provided.

All in all a great stay! We wish to come back some time!

A great location! It is very near to the beach and also an exceptional thing is that there is a supermarket on the territory of the hotel and it is open until 23:00 which is very convenient. The territory itself is pretty big and beautiful. The staff speaks English perfectly and is very friendly. There are two swimming pools in total.

The water coming from the pipeline is very different from what we are used to and is thus impossible to drink so we had to buy water in the store. Also there is no hot water in the mornings, only in the afternoon.

Big disappointment

Location - close to beach

The bathroom was disgusting and needs a renovation. Things are falling apart or simply not working (e.g. hairdryer). In the morning there was only cold water, so we had to take cold showers. In our apartmen for 5 persons there were only 3 knives. The cuttlery was dirty when we arrived so we had to wash everything ourselves. The tap water tastes salty, not suitable for cooking or even a tea. The area was very noisy. There were many noisy British tourists doining party every at night, woke us up at 3a.m. At night it was cold, but we god only light blankets to sleep under.

AMAZING

Absolutely over the moon staying here. Pools- two pools and they were both great. Pool bars and food was also great...we had breakfast there most mornings and it was just as nice as near by restaurants. Location- the location couldn’t be any better. Right on the doorstep to the beach and the beach is beautiful. Beautiful sand and clear sea. Room- the room is basic but it’s clean, comfortable and all in working order. That’s all we needed as we just showered and slept in our rooms. Only negative I would say is the pillows were hard but my partner liked the pillows so personal preference. Staff- staff were so friendly and all made an effort to learn your name. They were all lovely. We’ve already booked to go back next year. It’s incredible value for money.
