Spacious room, good (adjustable) air conditioning, comfortable bed, no extra charges for loungers, good restaurant, spacious pool. Sea on the doorstep.
Location. It is 10m from the sea, but also 10 m from a very busy road (like all hotels in Ixia?) We saw nobody sitting on their balconies soaking up the views- why would you holiday beside a national road.
Impractical lighting - impossible to read in bed. Bathroom getting tired - dirty grout, badly finished silicone etc.

The food is great, people also try to their best, the reception ladies are adorable, i also liked the music compilation at the swimming pool, so additional compliments go to the DJ.
The property location is nearby at the very busy road, so you get to here all the noise. The pebbles on the beach sometimes can become tricky to get into the sea.

The location is fantastic and the staff are friendly and incredibly helpful. The food was great and the bar guy knows his stuff. The hotel is also in great proximity to a lot of good restaurants and there are activities around.

A great location, luxurious environment, great food and cocktails, great staff and exceptional service
We didn’t have hot water during the stay, which was not too bad but something that could be improved

Service was hands down some of the best we have received anywhere in the world. All staff members go out of their way to be helpful and it’s clear they enjoy their jobs. Special mentions to the guest relations manager, head chef, dinner restaurant manager and the boys at breakfast. An asset to the hotel.
The hotel had a great location right on the beach but the town itself wasn’t for us. My advice would be to stay here but hire a car!

We love everything, the room, the staffs, the location, the view.
At our arrival, we were greeted warmly by everyone at the hotel already.
We stayed at the sea front bungalow with pool. Our room was very clean, though it is not as spacious as we thought, however, still enough for our family of three. There were a small gift waiting for us on the room, small package of local sweets, and our daughter loves it.
The restaurant at the property is 11 out of 10, absolutely wonderful. Breakfast is served later than normally, but we love it, it gives us more time to sleep. The menu is the same during the course of 4 days we stayed there, but still enough choices for us to not repeat the same thing. Our favorite are pancakes and Greek style breakfast.
Everyone at the hotel is nice, friendly, and always goes above and beyond to make sure we enjoy our stay. our daughter loves the attention that she received there. They always greet her warmly, with smiles.
The location is also super, everything is within working distance.
in general, we will definitely come back next time we in Rhodos
Only that the seafront room is not very private, the big window are nice for us to have the view but also a bit awkward when everybody walks by can see through to our room.

Everything was excellent during our 6-Night stay, during Orthodox Easter weekend. Our Deluxe Bungalow room with private pool, location, friendliness and professionalism of staff, attractive facilities, quiet and comfortable, etc.
The resort is clearly well-managed. Everything seemed well-maintained and spotless.
The most impressive part of our visit was truly the dining experiences in the restaurant, for our breakfast and evening meals. Breakfast was incredible, we could essentially eat as much as we wanted and great offering of our favorite Greek breakfast foods. And such atmosphere, right on the waterfront. Excellent breakfast service by the staff.
And even more impressive were the 3 evening dinners we had in the restaurant. George (restaurant manager), and Nikolaos (executive chef) provided the most incredible meal experiences we’ve ever had, and we have traveled extensively worldwide and have eaten in countless excellent restaurants throughout the world. One example of George’s actions to delight us was, upon my request for fresh seafood dinner for the next night, George contacted a local fisherman that next day to obtain the perfect sea bass for us, and the presentation to us by George and Nikolaos, with the requested grilled vegetables, was incredible. For each of the 3 dinners, George suggested the perfect wines for us. Desserts were tremendous too, each one so delicious and creatively a work of art. His passion for customer delight is truly evident. And again, such remarkable setting on the Aegean See at sunset.
We must return to Villa Di Mare in the near future, and we much look forward to it.
Everything was perfect.

Exceptional location and views...we had a private entrance jetted pool room, waking up to the view of the sea/beach every morning right in front of our room was amazing. The staff on reception were faultless, arranged everything for us, we had massage, pedicure and our hair done whilst we where here and the ladies made all the arrangements for us. They couldn't do enough, special personal service.
The breakfast set up...check before you go. We went in April, its not a buffet style breakfast, you are seated and you pick off the menu of around six options. This does not include a full breakfast option & personally, I like to make my own coffee at machine (then I can top up when I like) but we had to order the coffee to come which came from the bar area. With the breakfast this way by order, I felt a little greedy ordering more.

My family really enjoyed the breakfast and dinner. It was one of the best dinner we had in Rhodes. Really loved the food that we ordered. Attentive staff. Our room was big, bed very comfortable. Everyday, we always get fresh towels. Location is great, few restaurants nearby.

Staff were lovely, Reception staff were outstanding, location was prefect, breakfast was amazing, rooms were spacious and jacuzzi was fantastic.
Gym is very lacking clearly an after thought but that happens in most hotels to be fair . Evening dinner was same all week while we were there.

The suite was clean, well cleaned during the week and towels changed every day if needed. The staff was friendly and helpfull. Every single person in the hotel was polite and nice during the week. Comfy beds. A la carte breakfast really nice, loved that it was served late 9-12, so no need for rushing in the morning. I would stay again here, we had overall a very good holiday week here. Many small restaurants and shops near.
From the other bedroom you could hear even talking voices from the neighbour, take earplugs in case. The pool area can be a bit restless at times, the pool is open for public outside the hotel guests and DJ played music during the weekend too loud and too techno/bass beat style. Fun for younger groups maybe, but not if you just want to chill with family. So better to plan activities outside the hotel during weekends.

good location
small pool and not really big enough for 4 people

setting was very relaxed, spacious, staff very friendly and accommodating. food excellent and location of the restaurant stunning. size of the property was just right, didn’t feel like the large impersonal holiday complexes in the neighbourhood
nothing, maybe a easier route into the sea, longer ramp, lots of pebbles, uncomfortable under foot.

Hotel staff very service. Treat us to another night in a room with a free hot tub. We highly recommend amazing value for money

The staff at Villa Di Mare are incredibly kind, accomodating and helpful! They were always ready to help with great disposition for anything we needed! It made us feel as if we were staying by family or close friends. In terms of hotel staff you can't ask for better!!
The hotel is well maintained and clean, the rooms - we had a suite off the pool- were very functional, great for a family trip and for those who want their own kitchen. The pool is extremely relaxing and scenic and having the property open up to the shore line is really special. We had massages and manicures in our rooms too- and they were excellent!!
There is a great mini market located right in front that has anything you need- so it was super convenient!
I'm fussy with my , sheets, mattresses and pillows and didn't LOVE these- but they were certainly decent. I have no basis for comparison at other local hotels to know quality wise how they compared but it would seem that for a north american standard theyre closer to 3-4 star quality.7

this property really delivers, it is in the perfect location with stunning sea views. the whole experience was very chilling. the drinks and food were excellent and we felt really refreshed after our stay.
we had a bungalow with its own dip pool which was lovely.
ixia itself is near to Rhodes and you can easily get a taxi in and it’s so gorgeous and really worth a trip
or two.

Beautiful view from the room and balcony, great beds, excellent water pressure in the shower, lovely pool setup, yummy breakfast, and excellent dinner in the hotel restaurant with a gorgeous view of the sea. The staff were all incredibly nice and helpful. We loved our waiter at night who always had great wine recommendations. We would definitely stay here again. It was a perfect spot for exploring the island!
N/A - everything was great! The sign for the hotel could be a little bit more prominent as we missed it when arriving the first night, but that's it!
