Marvelously spacious room with a lovely view. On site parking was a blessing. The owner was so gratuitous and helpful. We will be happy to return on our next visit to Mantua.

Great location. Huge warm room . Very clean. Friendly staff. Parking on site.
For the amount paid the only negative is having to go to a cafe for breakfast. It was a very pleasant cafe though.

very large room with windows to the central square across from Bishop's Palace. Very quiet place closed for traffic, so we could even sleep with open windows. With closed soundproof windows it was completely quiet. Large bed with luxury sheets. Large bathroom. Nice wooden floors. Tea and coffee. Safe Parking possible in the courtyard. Italian Breakfast in the neighbor bars. There is no reception, but we could call the host.
We could have used a couple more chairs; one of the two was too low for the table. As in so many hotels, we missed some piece of furniture or another simple support to lay out the open suitcases, it was impractical to put them on the floor. But it was nice that there were large built-in closets on each side of the bed, his and hers.
Area closed for traffic, and we came from another bridge than the directions given from owner. I think we should just have followed gps.

Loved the location.
I did not like the lack of "reception" or someone I could ask questions to about what I should see etc. There is no communal room...you go from outside to your room. Which is fine but I sometimes like to get some insight. There is really no "breakfast" ...it's an Italian breakfast. A coffee and a Brioche. I didn't mind it but when I know I am going to be out and about all day I prefer a little protein with my "breakfast". Also...its actually at the cafe next door...not on premise. The Proprietor seemed disinterested in me even though I am a customer. Seemed rushed and bored showing me how to get in and out of the building etc. Maybe hire someone who enjoys people?

14 century Italian apartment with all the authenticity and charm located on the square of the Ducale palace. Owner on site to greet and meet and resolve any issues if they arose.

Great location in lovely Mantova. The size of the room was really impressive.
Our own fault really but we didn't realise we would need to specify dietary requirements in advance so our breakfast options were quite limited.

Perfect localisation
No beverages in the fridge, only water, pity.

The location is great In the main square by Palazzo Ducale.
No amenities in the room except a nepresso machine. No slippers, no hair dryer, no robe, very spartan. And too hot!
Breakfast “provided” was not anything special: A mediocre coffee and a pastry from the cafe next door. Not an adequate breakfast from a B&B with 5 star prices.
Everything except the location did not live up to what we expected. Very disappointing.

The location is great. Breakfast is at a family owned shop on the palazzo. They were so kind. We had breakfast there every morning. And Compari spritz every afternoon. The room we had was exquisitely decorated. We had a dining table and two chairs. We had two leather chairs for sitting and discussing the day. We had two sofas. And a balcony. The air conditioning was superb. The bathroom was big. The closet space was great.
Nothing.
