The service is amazing, they are really friendly with you and will help you with whatever problem you have. The view is outstanding, you will see it on their balcony. They offer breakfast and coca/muña tea.
The hostel is a bit outside the city center, so you must walk on a high hill for a few minutes. Just consider this if you think you will get severe altitude sickness.

The staff was helpful and polite. The location is in the middle of the old town, but quiet enough to not hear noise. Their turtle LoLo is very cute. Breakfast has a lot of options.
The airconditioner did not work.

Breakfast every morning was great, and everyone that worked there were very kind. The hostel is at the top of a hill but the walk isn’t bad if you take it slow and steady if you’re not used to the altitude. There was also tea available at all times if you need/want some!
The room was constantly damp. The cent leaving the bathroom went directly into the room so nothing was ever totally dry. Because of the constant dampness there was mold on the shower curtain and probably in the room. Bathroom could’ve used a good clean, there was still hair in the shower and on the toilet when we arrived.

The hostel had stunning views, Alvaro was the best host very friendly and helpful in navigation of Cusco. There was an amazing family-like atmosphere. 3 min to the main square!
It can get cold during the night.

The staff and service was great, the location too. I'd stay there again ❤️
The floors creaked a lot, so it was a bit challenging moving around without waking up my baby.

Alvarito and his family were really helpful and attentive. He planned our families trip to Machu Picchu from pickup at the hotel, to drop off at the hotel - could not have been any easier!

The receptionists were super nice , friendly and helpful . Every time we have a early tour they have us a take away breakfast (Our breakfast was included in our rate )
We have problem with our TV and they changed us to a upgraded room .
If I go back to Cusco I’ll stay there for sure .
Great place
Is a little far for the main square ( 15 min walking ) or in tact 5 min

the family was really nice, the view was great
the breakfast was a disappointment, there was mold in the bathroom, the toilet was so close to the wall that you weren’t really able to sit on it,
the price is to high for what was offered, the beds were not that comfortable

The view of the city from our room was stunning. They let us check in early when we arrived and let us leave our bags there when we hiked the Inca Trail and visited Machu Picchu. The bed was comfy and breakfast was tasty. Lovely staff and hot tea (Inc coca tea) available 24 hours.
The shower was a little sporadic but when it worked it was wonderful. The curtains were very thin, so sleeping past 6 was a challenge.

the location wasn’t bad, even though it wasn’t in the nicest area it was located just 5 mins walk from Plaza de Armas.
Their terrace is lovely, the view from there it’s amazing.
No hot water every day and no water at all very often (they probably tuned it off just to save money)
no clean towels and no enough towels, we had to ask for the hand ones and they didn’t have them. We had to use the same two shower towels for 5 days. Also no shower gels or any other soap to wash our hands.
I appreciate that this is a family run business but they looked very unprofessional and with no experience.

Centrally located, staff was nice and available. The room was cleaned and bed done every day. There was a electric heater to heat up the room (quite important for cold nights of Cusco).
There was no hot water in the sink. Someone at the reception desk had to open the door for us at night, which made us feel a bit uncomfortable if we came back late (as they had to wake up for us)

The staff were really friendly and helpful.
The views from the terrace were incredible!
The location was good and only took 10 mins to walk to the main square.
The shower was really hot in the morning, although I heard other people at breakfast say there was no hot water.
The rooms were really cold (I did visit in June - winter). Although in the triple room I stayed in I could use the blankets from the other bed.
It was expensive for what it was, but I did book last minute and it was during the winter solstice celebrations.
The breakfast was very basic - bread, jam, ham, cheese, eggs. But fine. It was enough to keep me going to lunch.
The shower was not hot in the evening. But I think the cold rooms and temperamental hot water is to be expected in all budget hotels.
There was no lamp or light switch next to the bed, so you have to get out of your warm bed into the cold room to turn the light off.

nice view of the city, comfortable beds, good mattress. Two blocks from the main square
sometimes there was no hot water, but most of the day there was.

Everything was amazing! The host picked us up from the airport, showed us around the city, helped us arrange activities and had answers to all of our questions. I can't thank him enough for the pleasant stay. The view from the terrace in the common area is stunning! The place is within walking distance from the greatest historical site in Cusco imo.

Álvaro and all the staff here provide excellent customer service. We stayed here for the duration of our adventure in Cusco, coming back between backpacking excursions. The hotel has amazing views and the inside is very lovely with fresh flowers and plants all about.
Hot water could be hit or miss depending on how many people were staying. I don’t eat gluten or pork so the breakfast options were a little more limited for me, eggs and coffee/tea. Would be nice if more fruit was available for breakfast.
