Needs some sprucing up

Comfortable bed, hot shower and great location.
Check out at 10am is the earliest we have encountered in two months of travelling in South America.

Well appointed rooms in an historic building located about as centrally as possible. Contrary to older reviews, it seems like they have sorted the WiFi and it was strong and reliable in the room the whole time.

cool old Spanish style
cold rooms

old building with lots of history also many master pieces, make you think you were in an Art museum, location was perfect within walking distance of all mayor actractions
not enough outlets, and rooms were a little cold, space heaters were provided

The hotel had loads of character, was centrally located, and was very comfortable. The staff were amazing, really friendly & helpful. Breakfast was good, and nice & friendly service.
If you’re staying on the ground floor you can hear people getting up early in the morning…but this is part of staying in a historic building…wasn’t a major problem.

Location is great, within walking distance from the Plaza de Armas and main streets of Cuzco. Helpful staff and breakfast starts at 6 am if you going on a tour.
WIFI supposed to work in all the facilities but it did not work inside the rooms, and very poor signal outdoors. Room was dark and smell damp not good for allergic travelers

Please have a look at the feedback I gave about the five nights we stayed before doing the Machu Picchu hiking trail

The staff was so helpful and kind! They did so much to go above and beyond to help us with any and everything. The property is unique and beautiful.

location location location
lack of stable internet and lack of hot water (I had to ask staff for hot water every time)

Very central location and very helpful staff. I ended up canceling the airbnb I booked in order to spend extra nights here. The breakfast is tasty and fresh fruit. I used their sister company SAS travel for the inca trek which made everything seamless. It was a cool ambiance and well decorated hotel.
The wifi was an excuse to unplug from the digital world. It was very slow. I didn't mind because I waited until I got to Lima to take my remote covid test, but otherwise it would have been a big problem.

Hotel building has charming architecture with old decorations and beautiful courtyard.
Staff is very friendly and helpful, make you feel like you are their family member!
Breakfast food was tasty, just wish we had more bread choices like in other hotels we stayed in.
Our room was on the ground floor and window didn’t open at al.

This property is an old monastery converted into a hotel. It has a charming court yard with tables you can sit at. There is also lots of old wooden doors and a tile roof. The breakfast is served in the cafe off the courtyard.
As with almost any location in Peru outside of Lima, the hot water can be spotty. It is usually best to shower late at night. Also, it is chilly at night in Cusco and while the room was supplied with a space heater, it was cool at night.
