As a splurge at the start of our Ireland holiday, we stayed in a suite. The room was large, comfortable And beautifully decorated. The whole Manor House was filled with antiques and wall hangings suitable to the period. View was sublime, food was superb, staff all excellent. Highly recommend.

We love Rosleague Manor and it’s lovely food and beautiful location.
We were a little disappointed with our room /bathroom. We were at the side of the house and the room felt a bit dark and tired. Make sure to get a room at the front of the house if booking with the sea and mountain view as it makes all the difference.

Breakfast was excellent, as was dinner. Staff were helpful and friendly and we loved the location.
Apart from a few negatives we had a lovely stay.
The walk-in shower, while handy for those with disabilities kept flooding the bathroom which we had to mop up each time we had a shower.
The chairs in our bedroom were uncomfortable and too low to the ground and very difficult to get up from.
The bath towels were too small ... more like hand towels

Beautiful setting, excellent breakfast, very comfortable bed. Excellent all round.

Location was superb and the hospitality was second to none. We really enjoyed the food and were impressed with the level of dining service, both for breakfast and dinner. We will definately return and have recommended it to our friends.
I can't say there was anything that we didn't like. We didn't have enough time to explore the grounds as much as we'd like. The house's communal areas were well suited for congregating, but they always seemed empty.

Beautiful landscape property, great staff, excellent food.
No AC. Normally wouldn’t matter but it was during hottest period in Ireland in over a century.

The grounds are lovely, walking trails through the woods, access to a beach. Lovely lawns to the front of the hotel where you can sit and relax and enjoy the view. There are lovely rooms inside too where you can sit and enjoy a game of chess or read your book. The bedrooms are amazing- big, light filled, comfortable beds, lovely paintings and furniture.

A very nice location and attentive staff. This hotel is an old fashioned version of the “Country House Hotel” and has been in the owners family since the 1960’s. Parts have been updated but you get the feel of the previous decades of renovation in different parts of the house. A nice touch were the lovely fresh flowers in our room overlooking the bay. The restaurant had a nice selection, there is a choice of a two or five course set menu and there was a good breakfast as well.
The hotel website was somewhat vague and we felt dinner and room were a little overpriced.

Lovely house in a lovely location, with excellent food and accomodation. The staff were lovely, very helpful and efficient. We enjoyed the short walks around the woodland grounds. Very close to the village of Letterfrack - 5 mins by car, 15 mins walking.
Costs. All the Blue Book Houses/Hotels are lovely to stay in but have become extremely expensive. We stayed because we had a gift voucher to cover most of the cost.

Everything about the hotel was fantastic. The staff were exceptionally helpful, the food absolutely magnificent and room splendidly decorated and equipped. The grounds were a delight to wander through and are thoughtfully planted. We will return.

Food was excellent
Lack of staff. The staff there seemed to be overworked with very slow service at the bar and also at reception desk. We had to wait a lot for service.

Location, views, and proximity to Kylemore Abbey were great. Afternoon tea was lovely in the atrium of the building and the staff were kind and responsive.
We were a bit underwhelmed with the upkeep of the property given the cost of the stay. For example, one of the major picture frames in our room right when you walk in had a massive spider smushed in between the glass and the matte surrounding the photo. Lamp shades were nearly falling off, carpets were worn, toilet had some issues flushing, etc. Staff were responsive to most needs but the upkeep made it hard to feel completely comfortable. Dining was a formal affair - but more stuffy than luxurious. The hotel guest population skewed toward an older demographic.

Fantastic country Hotel and location where we were greeted with a warm welcome.
The room was absolutely fabulously with stunning view of sea and pier. The restaurant was filled with the most beautiful decor and views and food was scrumptious and staff were so lovely and helpful. Thanks again
