Great breakfast, a quiet and beautiful place, once in a life experience
Everything was just great, not a single complaint.
9.0
Beautiful convent - worth a visit for that alone and to look around the gardens. Breakfast provision was good (except coffee)
Good facilities. we were able to store our bikes no problem.
Plastic undersheet on the bed was a bit much. coffee at breakfast wasn't very nice.
8.0
Building full of character.
Central location
A touch more variety for breakfast such as museli.

A very unique and inspiring place to stay in Nevers.

PERFECT

The staff are friendly.
The room is hygienic/clean.
To get into the hotel/sanctuary was a bit of a search.
The room very compact.
The breakfast is gloomy. Does it have to do with "it's a shrine?"

Beautiful place
Quiet
Rooms are not too small which is good
i would have liked a real expresso and not american coffee in the morning. Not a major issue, i was able to get double expresso not far :)
6.0
Quiet and the building itself was interesting.
Breakfast was very limited. Coffee was bad. Also checkout time was a bit early (9.30 am)

The place was wonderful, the staff at reception ware so friendly nice and helpful. The room was what you could call basic but exceptionally clean, warm and very well maintained. Would recommend this place to anyone. Do not expect a 5 star Hotel, breakfast is basic but ok. I have traveled on pilgrimage many times and this is very hard to better any ware.
There was nothing I could say I did not like, honestly.

the location
house cleaner that come to your door at 7:30am and start talking and making noise. there’s no privacy. this is the last time I book in hostel. I rather take an Airbnb.
9.0
Location, beauty of the place, friendliness of the staff and the possibility of early check in.
Breakfast could be better, with more options (there were only some breads and sweet mouses)
8.0
beautiful, characterful building with interesting history

Very restful
Could do with a kettle and coffee making facilities in the room
9.0
clean, friendly staff, safe
For it being a Catholic organization, I was really sad to see that there were not crucifixes in each room and not more lovely, timeless Catholic art. This is a place where pilgrims from all over the world come and it would be nice if it felt more sacred and less like a sterile hospital complex. Modern art and architecture sort of take away from the ambiance and historical continuity and don’t really fit with the exterior (an example of this is the strange modern “table” altar in St Bernadette’s room where she died).
4.0
Secure parking for bicycles and cars. Beautiful building and garden (from the outside). Friendly staff. The room was quiet.
The room was VERY small, and the bathroom tiny. The bed was also very small. There was a plastic under-sheet which made the bed quite sweaty. Everything was very basic. The breakfast was very disappointing, also very basic - no croissants! I know it was cheap, and is a charity, but still...

Wonderful newly renovated room in a quiet, peaceful setting. I'm not religious but it felt very special to be staying in such an important place. I got to eat breakfast in the beautiful courtyard and there was even a free concert on in the chapel the evening of my stay. Breakfast was a simple continental style affair with coffee and juices. All the staff were lovely and helpful. Parking is not clearly signposted but as it was summer I just parked alongside the array of Dutch/German/British number plates!
The room was on the top floor so was quite hot during my stay (July).
7.0
The beautiful chapel and St Bernadette, the Masses, the flowers inside, and beautiful gardens. The helpful reception staff and well stocked souvenir shop.
One lift not working, the rose coloured rooms in the first floor and not much prayer schedules.

Large, quiet premises in the middle of Nevers. Beautiful garden. Spacious, high room. Although it was very hot (30+) the room was cool, Good bed, friendly staff.
A convent, with the comfort level that goes with that; no the latest trend in interior decoration, let's say. It was quiet, but it could be noted that the sound insolation between rooms was poor.
8.0
Modest, quiet, and comfortable. What you'd expect from a convent.
On a Saturday evening, there seemed to be some noise in the street - almost like there was a house party or a discothèque in the distance. Also, it would have been nice to have a "do not disturb" sign to prevent housekeeping from entering my room later in the morning (for ecology's sake, I prefer to keep the same towels for two nights).
