Nice facilities and friendly staff
It took 45 minutes to get the food ready in the restaurant next to the pool and other 20 minutes to get the check.
It took more than a day to the front desk to be able to confirm if the spa service was available and to make an appointment.

The view was really nice and the rooms were just pleasant. The breakfast had a wonderful selection of hot foods various fruits and Mexican bites.
The dinner was very disappointing. The rooms need some TLC.

The amenities and being able to snorkel right from the hotel was amazing. The pool areas were lovely. Breakfast was really great and the restaurant was also a great dinner option
Each room can handle only 2 guests or 2 adults and 1 child under 12 which booking.com didn’t acknowledge. The 2 beds in a room are full size and small so we had to pay for an additional room upon arrival which was frustrating. We have 2 teens in our family and although the room was large the beds couldn’t accommodate even 3 adults comfortably.

We loved this incredible hotel. Such friendly and welcoming staff, especially Faustino at the front desk. Clean, spacious room with an ocean view and balcony. A real business is access to lovely snorkeling with all kinds of beautiful sea life. Both infinity pools were relaxing and the food was great. We’re vegan and they even included vegan pancakes for us along with toast, fruit, juice and coffee. There’s nothing to fault here. We felt pampered and relaxed.
Nothing!

Loved the staff- Mirbel, Miriam, David, were incredible. The restaurant was a favorite spot- amazing food and adorable waitstaff- Jorge, Juan-Carlos, and Burrito, and many others but we do not remember names. Meal prices were higher than we are used to paying (i.e. Chipotle-priced meals) in US but we splurged. Free breakfast and free weekend brunch was amazing. Fresh-squeezed juice, coffee, cut up fruit, pancakes, omelettes, yogurt with ginger, coconut dish with chia seeds, cacao seeds, fresh pumpkin and banana bread, granola, potatoes, veggies, etc. Menus can be perused online.
Staff were so attentive to the plantings, pool and mini-pool cleanliness, keeping chairs clean and dry, etc. We didn't use the pool much as the water was so warm. But loved jumping directly into the ocean and snorkeling right there. (Be prepared for results of ocean warming.) Life guard gave us a swim tour. Air conditioning was good and beds were comfortable. View of the ocean was divine. You should know that you will be a 6-8 dollar taxi ride from town (David will help). We preferred the hotel restaurant, anyway. Tasteful furnishings. Took a tour of island, visited Mayan ruins, and visited a cenote.
We ended up paying more than expected due to a miscommunication regarding allowable people in one room. We expected 4 people with 2 beds to be ok, as fine print said up to 4 people (maybe Booking.com fine print and not the hotel policy). Hotel said only 3 people allowed and that our children were too old to be 'children' because they were 14 or older. This got us off to a stressful start. But they did say they will credit us for $300 on our charges at the end of the stay. It was still much more $ than we expected upon arrival.
Loved restaurant, but would be nice if it were a little bit less expensive.
There were activities on the deck, such as yoga and meditation (we didn't partake). This was fine. There were other times that music (bad elevator sounding music) played loudly outside and even a DJ played loud obnoxious music on an entire weekend day. This definitely interferes with the tranquility for some!
We had a leak that dripped from the ceiling to the pillow after rainstorms. Staff was attentive, but it continued to drip.

The breakfast was delicious and amazing. The location is spectacular. The snorkeling right off the hotel was incredible. It’s the best place to stay on the island!

The property it’s perfect! All the staff is very attentive and friendly.
I think that they need to verify the shower because the temperature was cold and the handle key was to hardly to open.

The view from the infinity pools overlooking the ocean was spectacular and did not disappoint. I also liked that they do ask you if you have any allergies at check-in. I'm vegan and gluten-free. There were gluten-free pancakes. I was over the moon happy about that. They also had vegan options and the best darn french fries ever!
The electricity is fragile at this hotel. The power goes off and on. One night we lost power and it didn't come back on until around 9:00 a.m. the next morning. The front desk staff made an excuse that the entire island was experiencing the outage, but I had friends at another hotel so I called and asked them if their power was out. They advised me that the power was still on at their hotel. They didn't want to acknowledge that it was a power issue with their hotel.
After speaking with the front desk regarding our experience the night before with trying to sleep in the heat, they were accommodating and allowed us to have a very late check out due to the fact that we didn't get any sleep the night before because we had no AC with the power out.

The front desk referenced that Booking.com advises that there will be a $250.00 deposit for the stay but it does not. Be prepared to have $250.00 on hold until your check out. I assume this is because the hotel cafe on the premises.

the location was AMAZING, literally jump off the rocks into the Caribbean sea. The water was turquoise and picturesque sunsets made the hotel location really beautiful. the pools were nice, the staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable and the view was spectacular from the balcony. the breakfast was good for a free breakfast.
if you want to be in town around the bars and restaurants then this isn’t a good place. it’s about 10 mins ride from town and need a scooter or car to get anywhere. the hotel is a little bit stuck in the 90’s and the toilet smelt a little.

Everything was amazing!!! From the facilities to the staff, food, views, and sunsets.
High prices compared to other Mexican areas. Found Cozumel quite expensive in general and as a tourist you don't have other choice than paying those rates.
Value for money for the facility - absolutely!
Value for money for restaurant - no.

Staff location services available delicious breakfast snorkeling..like adult only section and zen vibe
The only hot tub is in family area and doubles as snorkel training area for kids. They need adult hot tub.

We stayed in one of the rooms with a view. We were on the 4th floor and it was quite magical. The turquoise water below, the lovely gardens, and the sunsets. I would definitely stay again. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony in the evenings and watching the fish swim near the lights in the tiny lagoon. Some reviewers didn't like that there is no sandy beach access, personally we loved jumping in at the rocks and swimming to the platform off the coast.
Restaurant and pricing at the restaurant were high for the area, but you are sort of 'trapped' at the hotel unless you take a cab into town. Still worth the view and would stay again. The food was good, but not great and the options are more limited. Alternative, and vegan food options were available.

FACILITY & STAFF:
-The property and its surroundings are clean and absolutely beautiful
-Surprise welcome gift (like free cocktails or free bottle of wine)
-We loved snorkeling on the premises
-Friendly and accommodating staff
-Excellent location convenient to activities and downtown
OUR ROOM:
-Spacious balcony
-Attractive, comfortable balcony furniture
-Great water pressure in the sink and shower (in the room)
RESTAURANT/POOL BAR:
-Excellent breakfast (especially the Thursday through Sunday breakfast buffet)
-Good coffee at the restaurant (dark roast - yummy!)
-Excellent food and cocktails at the restaurant and pool bar
-All the seats at the pool are uncomfortable, and all the seats under the awning (between the pool and the restaurant) are uncomfortable.
-The pool loungers on the shady side of the pool in the afternoon are sloped in such a way that you slide all the way down and you end up lying flat on the ground. The backs are not adjustable, and the loungers are not padded.
-The pool umbrellas can't be moved, so when the sun moves, you lose your shade.
-There are no umbrellas or shaded areas at the beach - a waste of a lovely beach.
-Insufficient lighting in the room bathrooms. You can't see well enough to apply makeup.
-Wash cloths weren't provided.
-Our A/C froze (ice) and had to be repaired.
-The cleaning lady always arrived to clean the room between 5:30pm and 6:30pm - exactly the time we were returning to the hotel room each day to shower and get ready for our evening - terribly annoying and inconvenient.

over price for the kind of room I got.

nice swimming pool, pretty views, good breakfast
1. we came as a family of 5. had the “jungle view” room but you can see on the photo was the view looked like…the room was small and damp, no balcony, barred view. we paid for na upgrade to get an ocean view and the balcony.
2. my kids got bitten at night though i haven’t seen any mosquito in the room. i suspect bugs from the extra bed - they were mentioned in another review as well:(
3. the highchair we got every time for the infant was damaged(i think there was only one overall)- the tray wasn’t fixed. pretty easy to fix but nobody bothered. yet it was swinging away from the child making it hard to use
