Breakfast ,lunch n dinner gave us a Tex Mex flavour with quite a Mekiko cuisine variety! T' was good as anytime you could get a bite! Cocktails n mocktails were refreshings!
Staff were efficient and friendly and good guest sense of service!
The only downside was the beach which was unkempt!
The beach needs sprucing and with maintenance this could attract more guests!

The staff and the environment! Just so pleasant!

Great place! Spacious and plenty of things to do for a few days stay
Do not expect 5 Star service for the price and ask for Veranda reservations in advance. It's worth it!

Meals were okay but could definitely use a little more variations! View and location were absolutely wonderful! Staff was very courteous and attentive!
Room did not have a phone in the room to contact room service or front desk! Room failed to be serviced on 3 different occasions, only 1 elevator working while Resort had numerous guests and there is no such thing as shuttle service from or to the airport!

The beach area was wonderful! Great to snorkel and swim. The staff are always friendly and eager to help in any way. Pool areas are kept neat. AC was always cold in our room.
Food could be better but there was always something I could find that I liked or they would make you something. Again eager to please. Pool bar wasn't open..maybe a staffing issue but wait staff did wait on you at the pool as much as possible.

The beach is exceptional and cleanliness is very good
There was two staff members that weren't nice at all, the guy in the pool towels with tattoed face yelled at me and the old man at the varanda restaurant who greets guests was very unfriendly and rude, there they assigned us a table with out a fan or AC and was a hot day, we left. The bed wasn't very soft but not very stiff

The staff is great their customer Service is 10 out of 10. It was very clean, the pools and beach area super clean. We really enjoyed the beach free from sargazo. It was a perfect place to relax, I would stay here again.
The beds are a bit hard and the food isn’t great, however, the great service makes up for it. The facilities could use a renovation it is a bit old. Still a great stay.

Staff was very friendly. I love late checkout at 3pm for $40 usd. Food was okay. Plenty of chairs and shade, resort seemed kind of empty. A nice welcome drink. The Veranda restaurant needed reservations but excellent. Open for dinner only.
No mini fridge was in pictures, not listed. No buffet, no ice cream, no entertainment I stayed during the week. The a/c was loud and did not keep the room very cool. Did not have hot water in the shower, I did not give them a chance to fix.I did not see a place where I could get ice. Faucets were cracked but worked. I did not see a bill.

hotel is old

the best part was the sea section it was beautiful clear water no seaweed, crystal clear waters
jet skiing was ok too
the rooms were outdated old needs attention, the bathroom was dirty and 60s style. water pressure non existent hot water non existent we were in room 601 no internet in room. Aircon was loud as hell.
Restaurant food was the same most days Breakfast was decent if you ordered. Birds everywhere pooing on tables and even on me as I waited for my order. we ordered pizza which took 30 minutes and when it arrived it was cold
we booked one evening to eat in the a la carte restaurant- it was ok the menu choice very limited and was the same as the main buffet restaurant.

View was great. Pool bar was ok. Generally, staff was nice. A few were extremely nice. Some of the front desk personnel were discourteous (not the person who checked us in).
Could not get a reservation for the indoor restaurant for even one night of our stay. Could not get a chair on the beach at all. Ridiculous. Bar restaurant ran out of mint (no mojito), guacamole (really? A Mexican all-inclusive running out of guacamole??? Please). And when I tried to get a rum and coke, the bartender said he had no limes. Food was so-so. Omelette in the morning was delicious.

over all everything was great
the hotel needed a few upgrades, bathrooms on main lobby needed work, rooms could use bit of upgrading, lot of rock at swimming area, food needed work
5.0 / 10.0
The resort grounds were small but nice, most of the staff were great but not all of them, the snorkeling was awesome especiallyif you walk down the beach a bit and hit the underwater current, it brings you right back to the resort. The food was ok at the buffet and the restaurant was great.
I feel like we were put into the worst room they had (legit reminding me of a jail cell you see in movies) no pictures on the wall minimal furniture, stiff beds, yellowish gray towels. We saw other rooms of people we met and they had nice rooms, so apparently they do have nicer rooms available. We had no hot water until our very last day but the resort had a water pipe bust so I guess on a normal day that may have not been an issue. Not all the staff speaks English but really wasn't an issue, you have to wake up early to book restaurant reservations daily. Some staff members expected tips but not all of them.

Great food, drinks and service the whole time we were there.

Beach, swimming pool,
Facilities are old, food is not good at all, everyday is the same menu, omelette and beef. Staff preparing the omelette clearly shows preferences for foreigners over Mexican people. Not good at all.

Exellent view, nice snorkeling.
The food at the restaurant was not very good
7.0 / 10.0
Location was great, staff was very helpful, food was adequate building itself could use a little TLC but overall a good experience.
Fixtures in the building seem outdated and in need of replacement. A little updating would turn this into a 5 star resort easily

the beach, the customer service
it is too old, the toilet was broken, the air conditioning was too old and the towels were extremely old.

the beach setting
the food was bad and rooms were in poor condition

The food was just ok. On New Year’s Day they told us the supper would not be served because the staff didn’t show up for work. They did continue to serve the lunch buffet so we didn’t go hungry. The buffet was pretty much the same food every day.
The staff are very good hardworking people. This facility is going downhill fast. Management of this property is terrible. I feel bad for the people that work for them.

staff
the room was not very clean with the last guests things and empty bottles of water still in the room, needs updating in general
4.0 / 10.0
The Location itself is nice and friendly staff.
In the mornings at the outside breakfast restaurant is a lady who is preparing eggs at the grill. I have never seen anyone preparing that many orders in that short period. My deepest respect!
The food was simply horrible. The coffee does surely wake you up, yet ist nothing to enjoy. The morning buffet is boring and poorly prepared. If you order something from the kitchen, it usually takes up to an hour and does not taste better than the poor selection they have on the buffet.
When we arrived, the bed sheets were dirty still. The matress was overused and hard. You can feel the spring core in your back. The Toiletflush did make weird noises. We had a room on the ground floor, so that basically everyone needed to pass by our room and there is not the slightest noise protection so it feels like the people do cross YOUR room to pass to the reception or restaurant. The last 2 days (out of four) we left the hotel for dinner to the city center, as the mexican kitchen in general really tasty and the hotel food was not at all.
When we arrived, it was raining almost non stop, so the pool temperatur was really low.
The Gym equipment is absolutely shabby and you feel like it could burst any minute. It should be replaced asap so that nobody get hurt.
